That is highly unadvisable, the changes in regime would inevitably lead to rebellions and massive bloodshed. You can kickstart the process however, by establishing a goverment and starting to delegate more and more duties to it. Eventually you should be able to reach a state similar to the UK or sweden where royalty is a mere figurhead.

It is best done over a generation or two though.
