The Hunt goes well, another of the redundant creatures are captured, and several smaller pictures fall prey to your zerglings as well. However you find nothing else that's genetically useful to the Zerg.

The Evolution pit is a masterful artwork of Flesh, similar to the back of your Evolution Master it contains Pockets that allow for Rapid development of experimental strains. The center is a pit of acid to recycle undesired results, most of all it's now home to your Evolution master, who is greedily exploring the alternates strands that you have access to from the queen of blades.

"Design, sloppy inefficient, haphazard. Can not improve, the Queen's infestors are good base if had access could create better design. Best as it can be for now." The creature that is the result of his worm is massive, almost the size of an ultralisk, it slow moving, but that doesn't matter, what does matter is it can move take advantage of the sources of the needed gasses, for now it is a solution to the rarity of Vespine. So several are born to live in the dark creep covered tunnels running through your primary cluster's island.

Your Overlord's feel something anomalous to the north but since none of them where near it they can't determine the source beyond to the north. It feels like a worm hole, but you are far from Protoss Space.

You have two new Hive clusters they haven't started to take advantage of the full breadth of material wealth on their Islands yet.

By positioning most of your overlords in strategic places you can keep an eye on most interesting places on this planet. Of course these overlords won't be able to do other things as they are busy watching for you, but you won't need to bother with them unless you want to reassign them.

This lacks defenses, if someone is to find you and attack you it could quickly mean your end.

The many new creep colonies can be evolved into Impaler colonies now. As well as Spore colonies

Rather than alter Creek colonies you can use the Queen's design for Crawlers. The mobile defenses can be repositioned if you expand or learn of new directions of attack.

If someone comes to invade they shall find the ground a living tide.
[]Blotting out the Sun
Overlords are incredibly low maintenance and while they have very little combat ability you can use the extra delegation power they give you, will you feel the more you have the more you'll need to get the next level of Delegation.

While the local fauna won't provide any nutrients it's possible that there might be some unique properties in them that you cannot see just by looking. Of course it will be difficult for you to find anything useful without a Evolution master or pit.

The Hydralisks are powerful predators, but you will be limited in making them until you have a source of vespine

Roaches, while you dislike the idea of working with the Queen's designs they are strong and powerful assault forms.

Bangling for a poor choice right now due to the Rarity of vespene gas.

More drones should help the mining go quicker, and with the mineral income you have, you can make alot more drones.

With the evolution pit you can evolve your Zerg strains.

It's easily possible to expand the density of the leg structure for all Zerg strains increasing the speed of all ground-based Bioforms
-[]Attack
By increasing muscle density in Claws and the sharpness of blades you can increase the attack strength of all melee bio forms.
-[]Defense
By hardening the carapace all Zerg bile forms should gain a small defensive bonus.
-[]Metabolic Boost
By rewiring the chemical signals in the Zerglings and expanding their wings structures it allows them slightly faster speed and the ability to jump onto enemies farther away.
[]Vespine Slugs
With the new import of vespene it's much easier to create slugs the other you're still taxing to your minerals.
[]Study
You found something that your Evolution Master things could possibly be useful to the Swarm.
-[]Redundant Nervous System
Your Evolution Master believes that the creature you hunted could be used to make your combat forms fight at full efficiency until they die.
-[]Jumping Wings
By increasing the strength of the Zergling Wings you can allow them to reach great height when jumping, this can let them get over Terrain, assault low-flying aircraft, and even make ambushes jumping from farther away.

[]Production Upgrade
Turning Hatcheries into Lairs will make the more efficient and give you some access to some useful genetics.
[]Production Bonus
In order to make spawning more effective you should probably create another Hatchery. Your existing hatcheries are probably enough but it never hurts to have more.
[]Secondary Cluster
The other Islands nearby probably have a similar amount of wealth and creating the another Hive cluster on one of them would allow not only a greater number of units to be spawned but a greater income of minerals.
-[]Mining Focus
The hatcheries will be placed in such a way to allow maximum mining efficiency from the cluster. While it will make it slightly less defensible it will be much more productive.
-[]Military Focus
The cluster will sacrifice mining efficiency for military production, it will be a living Fortress and you fear for the enemies at try to assault it.
-[]Cheap
Just placing down a new Hatchery somewhere else will be a great start, you can develop at using its own materials.
[]Creeping Death
While at this time it doesn't serve a major purpose you can create more creep colonies and expand the creep over most of the island.

plan is to get more resources coming in and get an idea of what is coming, then next turn spend all actions to build more hatcheries, then turn after that we should have enough production to drown the enemy in zerglings

Idle Evolution Master, with Evolution Pit

The expansion of the tunnels and mines in the other islands. Soon what had been a few drones working slowly on a few mines expanded to the level of your primary mining shafts, with a hundered drones digging the earth away.

As your drones eat away the earth, the trees and life around your hive cluster die, the creep spreading and slowly painting the island purple. The reach of the zerg was expanding.

Along side the greater mass of creep each cluster saw two new hatcheries born towering over the creatures and buildings of the Zerg.

After the buildings are complete you get a feeling from the Evolution Master. You see the inside of a pit, where the Master had a runt of a spine crawler held in his hands. "These Zerg require creep when burrowed, can live indefinitely unburrowed. Can not expand same level, can make metabolisms of Zerg structures able to sleep, like Crawlers do. Live much longer off creep, unable to act off of it, do live." That was great news.

The Zerg shutters at the feeling of the wormhole washing over the world. Their was several in rapid succession all from the north, though this time, you were able to locate the origin. The Ring in the northern forests.

By altering the metabolism of the Zerg structures it allows them to go into hibernation when creep withdrawals, while they cannot do anything at this point in time they will not die.
