[X] Plan Equality and Freedom for All
-[X] Fear. For once in their life, the Herald has felt fear for their life and the lives of their kin. The Centaur people have experienced loss before, but something like this was unprecedented. Something like this was clearly a sign that there were things out there that could and would destroy them, and perhaps they would if the Herald ever lost the Gods' favor. Every action had to be considered, everything met with caution, for one wrong step could mean the Ire of the Gods thus the end of the Centaur people. (Herald develops new style: Eye of Heaven)
-[X] it is the price of freedom. The Gods have bestowed us all with the wonderful gift of freedom and the ability to choose how we live our lives. This unfortunately means that many will turn to evil and harm their fellow man, but that does not define us nor everyone. For everyone who chooses evil, there are those who choose kindness and good." (the religion believes there to be no good and evil, only choices)
-[X] "All will join the Gods in the next world. Beyond this world is one of light and spirits. It is this world that the Gods inhabit, and all will go there when they inevitably perish." (There is a single spirit realm where all go when they die)
-[X] There is no purpose. It falls to the individual to determine their purpose in life. The Gods will judge fairly and accordingly.
-[X] bury them. The dead would be returned to the ground created by the Gods; perhaps the plants that grow will have some of their essence.
-[X] decided that a way-shrine would be constructed. To honor those who had fallen.
-[X] brethren to the centaur people.
-[X] that it should be regulated and controlled to ensure disastrous trades are not made. Trade can continue, but more serious trades that involve the non-physical shall be monitored and regulated.
-[X] to deal with the Marked Ones. The Marked Ones have committed a grave sin against the Centaur people, and the Herald will ensure that they are punished for their crimes.
--[X] Prepare for the inevitable confrontation. The Marked Ones have proven to be a dangerous foe, so the people must be prepared to face them. They must be trained, new weapons and armors must be constructed, bands organized, and defenses prepared.

@BurningLaugh
[X] I want to make it so that with higher exposure to celestial energy, comes a heightened capability of self-reflection and self-awareness, the more exposed they are to celestial energy, the greater the ability to objectively categorize their own actions and feelings. (2 Dominions)

It's not any supernatural knowledge source or anything. They're just now able to observe the self with less bias. Makes it easier for them to judge whether they themselves are doing good or bad things. I'm angling somewhat towards Wisdom domain.

I really wanna make some extra lore for the green magic, 3 centaur apprentices, and the masked devils but they all haven't existed long enough for any interesting stuff to occur in their cultures
And I don't know if detailing established but vague characters (talking bout the apprentices) is even allowed

Well I straight up made up two characters outta the ether.

And one of them showed up in the main update.

So...

What can I do with 2 dominion
Anything plausible or implausible
with a max scale of 10,000 for plausible (size 2) and a max scale of 1,000 for implausible (size 1)

Plausible are things that can reasonably be done. Turning all the able body centaurs into decent warriors, enhancing the green magic into a formal school of magic or tradition, establishing farms, teaching them writing, causing a population boom by...."encouraging" them, providing them with good health, etc.

Implausible are things that aren't reasonable, require minor alterations of nature or human nature, and require a bit of luck. Establishing a strong martial tradition, teaching them metallurgy, giving them unnatural longevity, or establishing plants with mystic properties.

Example:
Plausible: I want to spread and create redwood trees throughout the land.
Implausible: I want to spread and create a type of flower that is capable of releasing a sedative toxin to calm people and beasts down.

Oh crap, Trade?! This is not what I was gunning for.
I better get my act together quick. Good for you, @LinkOnScepter

Oh, @BurningLaugh, do humans exist?
Keltans are the humans of this universe
(I think)
Their name is just different for some reason
Keltans are one of the many human tribes in this world.
Just like how you guys are just one tribe of Centaur people.

1 dominion, not 2, is required for that. All you're really doing is adding in those wise and discipline elements that most martial arts espouse.
Though using two will...lead to it being stronger. Who knows, perhaps something will happen as a result.

it's allowed. the only ones you can't touch is the Herald and those created by other voters/gods.

Good flex.
But I'll punch a character right out of the ether.
With blackjack and fisticuffs.

Implausible: I want to spread and create a type of flower that is capable of releasing a sedative toxin to calm people and beasts down.
I see. And how much dominion do we gain from Omakes? And how many Omakes are we allowed to make each turn?

I have no clue who or what you are talking about but now you have my interest
Oh ho ho, you're in for a good time.
Mannan is this guy who has a quest quite similar to yours, called "From Chaos: Riot god Quest". Basically we all play as "Primordials", a group of entities from the echoes of chaos or something that get to create stuff and make an entire setting. Pretty much 0 rolls, and it's all text-based. Keep in mind, Mannan is technically the second one who did this since he drew inspiration from someone else (Photomajig, I think) who did this awhile back, but eventually stopped updating.

Anyway, both Donald and I are in that quest (him being a long-time voter, me being more recent), and my votes in that quest have trended towards a very specific premise. Specifically, one boy and his punches.

(Just headcanon unless QM decides otherwise)
Some characters
Sad Sack
- Masked devil that traded their joy for a young centaurs sorrow, cries frequently, mourning a person they never even knew
- Has a sack hanging from their tail, borrowed from corpse when no one was looking
- The sack contains recently picked hallucination-inducing mushrooms to numb the sadness and a couple borrowed cloth to wipe the tears

Turo The 2nd Apprentice
- Chipper attitude and optimistic outlook on life
- Always gets up and early, not many people can keep up with his hyperactive energy
- Has a necklace of rabbit skulls, his speed and prowess as a hunter is great
- Inseparable from Rikini

Rikini The 3rd Apprentice
- Tired attitude and cynical outlook on life
- Requires Turo's coercing to even bother getting out of bed at a decent time, lazy but has an intelligent mind
- Wrote a couple stories about Turo's shenanigans in the woods cause others cannot keep up with fast talking
- Inseparable from Turo

the punches make it sound like GamingandReading has competition

Omakes only give you 1 dominion a piece if they are accepted. You may make as many omakes as you want. If I allow/approve of the omake, you get a dominion for it

Oh, it's not so much for combat as a way of showing gratitude.
But anything to keep ole' bro G.R on his toes.

Time to spam middle-quality writing with a questionable word count. :drevil:

that actually reminds me to set requirements on the omakes going on from here on out
apocrypha will count as well from now on
you know once I set those requirements
probably 250 words minimum and in actual story format as opposed to bullet points.
though don't let those requirements stop you from giving me free material and ideas.

Oh yeah. I remember when that Quest was first posted.

In fact, I think I was apart of one of that guys earlier Riot God Quests. Stopped posting cause I got bored.

I mostly don't care about the omake bonuses, just writing the stuff is fun, so I'll DEFINITELY keeping giving you free material

[X] Plan Conviction And Afterlife

[X] I want to (Gift a centaur with knowledge of healing and how to use herbs and other plants to help) (1 dominion)

Why do you live? You're crazy. Someone save that man.

250 minimum? I'd say at least 500. I want to bust my chops out here. Though, what am I allowed to write about that's within the limits of canon lore? I'd like to write things that'll be apart of the world, even if they don't make a direct appearance.

Ahh, I see. Understandable. I never viewed the other quests, but the current one is pretty good I'd say. I sound like a fanboy for this, but I really appreciate Mannan's writing of making things sensible and logical, so much so that the writing seems realistic. Good descriptors, and the events that transpire seem almost obvious once they happen. Hindsight 20/20.

Though, a voter passed a vote that basically made things less fun for him, because it limited the "bad" things that could happened so he almost dropped the quest. But that'll get taken care of soon enough.

Caution would tell me to lower it to 1. Curiosity would tell me to increase it to 3. I think I'll keep it at 2 just to see what happens.

I'm okay with just being the god of madness

I just need to reinforce that while simultaneously removing the whole trading thing from the equation

Edit: Interrupting a business deal by whispering into some dudes head

What's the difference between that and how Green Magic is now?
green magic is just there.
people do whatever they want once they learn how to use it.
traditions and schools basically streamline it and make it like a field of study. Spells are categorized, developments remembered, etc.
Makes it easier for people to share their knowledge and build on it.
It's like establishing a Circle of Druids or a School of Wizards.

Hmm, how many Centaur actually are there in terms of numbers? I'm seeing size 2 effects 10,000 but there's no reference how much that is in comparison to how many people we have.

Hm…wait a second. Think about it. Trading your sanity for madness…
trading everything you love for a delusion…giving up reality for a false lie you'll take on…
everything is a fantasy land, and you'll give up your soul to stop facing
the pain that is reality…
giving into the Madness? I'm just balling it out.

What would using 5 dominion for a single action do? Can you give an example or two on the scope, and what it could accomplish?

I have no idea who Faust is, but okie doke. So then you've got to find some way to change "Madness" to "Chaos" or "Randomness" then, because "Madness" is pretty evil.
I really like how we were tied for the position though. Found it pretty funny since it caught my off-guard.

Will things "traditions" and "schools" naturally happen eventually as they use it more often, making it more organized, or nah?
