54- Iron Fist Casting.
[X] Plucking Stars
-[X] Dr. Doom.
-[X] Kang The Conqueror.
-[X] Silver Surfer.
-[X] Galactus.
-[X] Skrulls.
-[X] Deadpool.
-[X] Mystique.
-[X] Emma Frost.
-[X] Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver.

You had decided to get Dr. Doom, Kang The Conqueror, Silver Surfer, Galactus, and The Skrulls from the Fantastic Four franchise, you were hoping that their next project would fail, so you may be able to get more of the characters.

And from the X-Men franchise, you had chosen The Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool himself, along with Mystique, Emma Frost, and the duo of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

With the included addition of The Punisher and his rogues gallery, you were sure that you had a good set of deals on your hands.

After that, you had to get to casting the various characters within the movie.

Casting Roll: 85.

You had managed to get quite a few actors and actresses interested in the project.

Casting Madame Gao: A ruthless and manipulative woman, she's the brains behind the kidnapping operation within the movie, at the end she would be killed by Danny in a climactic final battle, where she would use tricks and misdirection to her advantage.

[] Wai Ching Ho: An actress who has worked quite a lot in Hong Kong, she portrayed a quite frankly... terrifying Madame Gao.
[] Michelle Yeoh:
[] Write-in:

Oroku Saki/The Shredder: The brawn, a ninja of terrifying skill and physical prowess, he can kill swathes of men within an instant. He leads his own branch of The Hand, called The Foot. He'd fight Danny multiple times within the movie, using a combination of his strength, skill, and gadgets to battle on par with The Immortal Iron Fist, before fleeing into the night upon Madame Gao's death. In the post-credit scene, he would be shown to be in the midst of consolidating his own power base to potentially take over The Hand.

[] Hiroyuki Sanada: A good actor, known for portraying Ujio in The Last Samurai, you could definitely see him in the role of Shredder.
[] Brian Tee: He portrayed the main antagonist of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, D.K, and you could see him playing an interesting Shredder.
[] Will Yun Lee: He portrayed Kirigi in Elektra, and will be Kenuichio Harada in The Wolverine, you could see him playing an interesting Shredder.
[] Write-in:

Hiroshi: An incredibly intelligent scientist under the command of Shredder, he creates all of his gadgets, and shows complete and utter loyalty to the terrifying ninja.

[] Masayoshi Haneda: He seemed to be a good fit for the role of Hiroshi, you could definitely see him in the movie.
[] Mike Moh: Mike Moh had a really good audition, and you could see him as a good fit for the character of Hiroshi.
[] Lewis Tan: Lewis also had a good audition, honestly you could see everyone who auditioned, playing the role of Hiroshi.
[] Write-in:

Stick: Danny's main point of contact with The Chaste, he's a mysterious elderly man with an incredible knowledge when it comes to martial arts.

[] Scott Glenn: A good actor, you think he could make for a fantastic Stick.
[] Matt Frewer: Also, a good actor. You could see him playing a good Stick.
[] Terence Stamp: He was in Elektra as Stick, maybe you could bring him back?
[] Write-in:

Colleen Wing: The co-owner of Fogwell's Gym, and part-time member of The Chaste, she helps Danny throughout the movie, finding hints and clues as to where the missing people had gone.

[] Olivia Munn: She had a good audition, and you thought she'd make a good Colleen Wing.
[] Tao Okamoto: She had a good audition, and this movie would likely be her film debut... you'd be taking a risk, but it could be worth it.
[] Jessica Henwick: She also had a good audition, why did they all have good auditions?
[] Write-in:

Matt Murdock: A blind lawyer that bumps into Danny, the two of them introduce themselves to each other, before going their separate ways.

[] Charlie Cox: Charlie had done a quite frankly... amazing audition, and you were incredibly interested in seeing him as Daredevil.
[] Ben Affleck: He had played Daredevil in the original movie, and you did bring Colin Farrell back as Bullseye, so why not bring Ben back as Daredevil?
[] Michael C. Hall: He was amazing as Dexter Morgan in Dexter, maybe he could bring in those acting chops for the future Daredevil?
[] Chris Pine: He played Captain Kirk in Star Trek, and seemed to be a good actor... why not bring him on board as the future Daredevil?
[] Write-in:

Cole McGrath: A courier who unknowingly delivers Danny's iconic Iron Fist costume, before leaving to make another delivery.

[] Jason Statham: Jason Statham is a good actor, and you could see him playing Cole... or, maybe he could be Kessler in the Infamous show?
[] Damien Walters: He's a gymnast, and not really an actor, but you could see him in the movie as Cole.
[] Alexander Ludwig: A fairly young actor, you could see him playing a younger Cole McGrath.
[] Alexander Skarsgård: A Swedish actor, you could see him playing Cole as well.
[] Sam Worthington: Jake Sully from Avatar himself, you could see him playing an interesting Cole McGrath.
[] Write-in:

Elektra: A mysterious woman working with The Chaste, who finds leads for Danny to follow up on so he may take out The Hand.

[] Elodie Yung: A good actress, you could see her potentially playing Elektra.
[] Sofia Boutella: She also, seemed like she could play Elektra.
[] Jennifer Garner: Maybe you could bring Jennifer back as Elektra, as a sort of soft-reboot of the character?
[] Write-in:

Hamato Yoshi: A martial artist who shows up in the middle of the movie, asking to be included in the investigation against The Hand, as they had taken something incredibly important to him. He's an honorable man, acting more like a samurai than a ninja.

[] Hiroyuki Sanada: He had also auditioned for the role of Hamato.
[] Brian Tee: He had... also, auditioned for the role of Hamato, in case he didn't get Shredder.
[] Will Yun Lee: Okay, all three prospective actors had auditioned for Hamato. Interesting.
[] Write-in:

I'll say this, Alexander Ludwig works really well for a young Cole McGrath that leaves us open to freely use older actors as the basis of Kessler; [EDIT: I'm personally of the opinion that it should be Travis Fimmel, since he's really good at having an intimidating presence not to mention the actor allusion that would create between the two.]

Not exactly what I wanted, but still got some story potential here.

Now, I already gave my pitch for Doom's Latveria in the Discord-

- but for those of you who still haven't joined, or didn't read it, it's basically a pitch to have Latveria [that has Doom's near impervious Diplomatic Immunity actually make sense] essentially be a NATO ally (on par with Saudi Arabia and Dubai) against the USSR due to the Doom seizing control of their nukes in the region during his revolution. There's also a small mention that ties all that into Silver Sable and Scarlet Witch's backstories [Doom is the dictator that Silver Sable wants to overthrow and Scarlet Witch is his childhood friend (taking Valeria's place)], and a question of whether or not the Tibetan Monks that helped Doom refined his skill in mysticism and gave him the iron mask with was the Chaste.

Kang the Conqueror, due to his frequent timetravel isn't someone we can introduce this early on in the franchise as a one and done villain, instead I propose that before we get ready to introduce them as a major villain for one of the later Phases, we start utilizing him like the Observers in Fringe, where initially they were in the background of every single major event as they studied history before choosing an opportune moment to strike.

Silver Surfer and Galactus are basically one of the Endgame bosses we can choose from, no idea how'd we recover from that kind of escalation...but we could tie that into why the Skrulls are making an appearance, why they've started infiltrating Earth ala Secret Invasion.

Deadpool depends on whether or not we want to start with a standalone (which would be problematic enough without the rest of the X-Men roster), but I think that given his mercenary nature he should be making appearances alongside characters like Silver Sable and Punisher.

Mystique is basically a wildcard without her supporting cast (Destiny, Rogue, Nightcrawler), but again she fits in fairly well with Deadpool and Silver Sable...maybe some drama with the Skrulls?

Lastly, for Emma Frost there's a few points in her backstory that we can introduce her, but I'm personally in favor of having her be one of Peter's teachers in ESU (canonically, she went to school there) and that she has ties to the shadowy figures that have been driving things behind the scenes, alluding to her being the White Queen of Hellfire Club, in addition to ties to OsCorp through her company Frost Enterprises (maybe as a subsidiary, or real estate/investment company?).

Well there's Demona Hellstrom, if we want to go with an established character or introducing Zora Vukovic early, despite not existing until 2018.
Could also do Fionna Wyman she was from Latverian and had psychic power, apparently.

In the original she was a former SHEILD agent and was a member of hydra, so we could have it instead that she is a spy from Latverian here to get close to Harry Osborne to gain secrets from his fathers company.

Or just have her be a normal transfer student from Latverian that we could have later have her ends up developing psychic power either out of the blue or from an accident or whatever you guys decide.

You had managed to get every actor from the other movies, to come in for their scenes in Iron Fist, so that was good.

Now, it was time to actually get to filming.

Protagonist Chemistry: 87.

The chemistry between Garrett, Olvia, and Brian was great to see, you could definitely see them as the three... main characters of the movie, and their friendship was definitely real.

Antagonist Chemistry: 97.

The villains on the other hand... Wai Ching Cho and Hiroyuki Sanada were simply... great, near-perfect, even.

They worked off each other seamlessly, adding to the other's performance with ease.

Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Garrett Hedlund) Screen Presence: 115!

Garrett had done perfectly as Danny Rand and Iron Fist, you were honestly shocked by his quite frankly, legendary performance as the character.

In his cameo in the Black Cat movie, he was... pretty good, but on his own? He was practically perfect within the role, and you were looking forward to seeing more of him down the line.

Madame Gao (Wai Ching Cho) Screen Presence: 85.

Wai Ching Cho was great in the Iron Fist movie, she made for an incredibly intimidating villain, and you were looking forward to seeing more of her later on down the line... that is, if you choose to have resurrection be a part of The Hand's arsenal.

Oroku Saki/Shredder (Hiroyuki Sanada) Screen Presence: 93.

Hiroyuki Sanada was practically perfect in the role of Shredder, he was intimidating, he was skilled, and honestly? He was terrifying to watch, especially in battle.

You were looking forward to using him in the future.

Hiroshi (Masayoshi Haneda) Screen Presence: 66.

Sadly, out of the three villains, it seems that Masayoshi Haneda was the... least impactful of them, you don't want to be misconstrued, he was good... but, when standing beside Wai Ching Cho, and Hiroyuki Sanada? He just wasn't up to snuff.

Stick (Scott Glenn) Screen Presence: 103.

Scott Glenn was a damn good Stick, he played the mysterious old man expertly, and you could see more of him in the future.

Colleen Wing (Olivia Munn) Screen Presence: 91.

Olivia Munn was an amazing Colleen Wing, and now? You couldn't see anyone else playing the part. She was, quite simply? A delight to watch.

Elektra (Sofia Boutella) Screen Presence: 53.

Sofia, on the other hand... wasn't bad, but she was somewhat overshadowed by everyone else within the movie. Some reshoots could work, though.

Hamato Yoshi (Brian Tee) Screen Presence: 90.

Well, this was great to see. The three main characters were all great within the movie, thank God for that.

Brian had played an impassioned, yet kind Hamato Yoshi, and you couldn't wait to see more of him in the future.

Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) Screen Presence: 98.

Charlie Cox, in his single scene within the movie... just had this sort of presence about him, that made you want to learn more about the character.

Which was good, as you were more than likely going to use him as Daredevil in the future.

Especially after that performance.

Flash Thompson (Chris Zylka) Screen Presence: 97.

Once again, Chris Zylka shows that he's an incredibly talented actor, even with a small amount of screentime. You were honestly surprised by how good he was.

Eddie Brock (Karl Urban) Screen Presence: 88.

Karl Urban seems to have recognized that his last outing as Eddie Brock left much to be desired, so he had put on as much of a performance as he could.

And honestly? It worked. You had enjoyed the few scenes with Eddie Brock.

Aunt May (Maggie Smith) Screen Presence: 81.

Maggie Smith proves herself to be an incredibly good actress, by showing off her kindness when interacting with Garrett Hedlund's Danny Rand, initially thinking he was homeless.

Sure, their interaction had a few misunderstandings, before it was cleared up, but that's what made it so sweet.

Felicia Hardy/Black Cat (Gal Gadot) Screen Presence: 69.

Gal Gadot had once again, shown that pure sex appeal that Black Cat has, in Danny's point of view of their fight.

Dr. Henri Sorel (Jeffery Wright) Screen Presence: 75.

Jeffery had put on a decent performance as Dr. Henri Sorel, when he watches Iron Fist's fight, and usage of chi.

Cole McGrath (Alexander Ludwig) Screen Presence: 91.

Alexander Ludwig, even though he only had a small amount of screentime, had proved to be an exceptional actor when it came to his performance as Cole McGrath.

Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) Screen Presence: 102.

Andrew Garfield once again knocked it out of the park, when it came to portraying Spider-Man in the mid-credit scene.

Production Quality: 86.

There were no problems when it came to Production, in fact... it went by so fast, that you were able to finish production a few months early, so that was good.

Choreography: 99.

The choreography within the movie was well done, having Jackie Chan at the helm of the movie had definitely helped with the fight scenes.

You should really get Jackie Chan on a sequel in the future.

Sound Design: 100!

The sound design was great, the sound of fists hitting flesh, the music, everything about it was just... perfect. You were really proud of this part of the movie.

Editing: 66.

The editing was... fine, but a bit choppy in a few areas. It could definitely be improved upon.

VFX: 95.

The VFX within the movie, were simply amazing. There wasn't a single problem that you could see, and that was just... fantastic.

You have 3 Reshoot Points for each Month of Reshooting you want to do.

[] Hiroshi (Masayoshi Haneda): 66.
[] Elektra (Sofia Boutella): 53.
[] Editing: 66.

After that, you had to figure out the movie's title, you had a few good ideas, at least.

What's the film's title?

[] Iron Fist.
[] The Immortal Iron Fist.
[] Iron Fist: Fists of Fury.
[] Iron Fist: School of Hard Knocks.
[] Iron Fist: A Thousand Steps.
[] Iron Fist: Cultivation.
[] Iron Fist VS The Hand.
[] Iron Fist: Heart of the Dragon.
[] Iron Fist: The Living Weapon.
[] The Fury of Iron Fist.

Seeing as this is Iron Fist's intro and solo movie, there's no need to complicate things with a fancy title.
