In one world, Minthara Baenre was incited to leave Lolth behind by the ministrations of Orin the Red. In this one, however… well, Menzoberranzan does not instill motherly feeling in her children. What will happen when Lolth's claim on her is vacated and the Celestial Forge steps in?
Follow Angèle Bright, Eidele Aquibel, Necria Starwatcher, Darvin (and as of session 9, Lisbeth) as they explore an ancient tomb in search of fame and fortune. Will they survive and become rich beyond their wildest dreams, or will they die poor and alone in vast structure which lurks beneath the desert sands?
A tiefling wizard and her eclectic band of companions embark on a quest to save a captured fiend. Along the way, they uncover the grim truth about the fading wonders of their realm and must fight to reignite the spark of magic while navigating the complexities of love, loyalty, and power.

Kingdom of Wrath is a writing challenge that I hope will kick my ass into getting back into the hang of writing.
The rules of the challenge are simple, 1 word = 1 xp and Taylor levels like a 3.5e D&D character.

Heroes rise, heroes fall. Often, their fall is as legendary as their rise. But sometimes, once in a very long time, when one hero falls, another rises in her place. Jordan Shepard is a hero. Ao, after being disturbed by the caterwauling of a mortal, takes time to find out why its not being seen to by the local gods. He soon finds that the mortal isn't in his universe and that the universe has no gods.
Seeing that the universe is unbalanced he decides to take action but, as it's not his universe, he can't directly interfere.
And thus Taylor Hebert walks out of her locker as the Chosen of Ao.
CONCEIT: Withers was set to go down to Faerun. Ao said no, and that he should have had a Chosen. As it so happens, there was one in his Archives who had beef with Karsus. After eighteen hundred years of doing Jergal's (then Myrkul's, then Cyric's, then Kelemvor's) paperwork, he is set loose with minimal instruction. Chaos ensues.
OR: Jergal has a useful almighty idiot. He opens the door to let him out. Many Squids Were Harmed In the Writing of This Crack.
