Shaper is a Monarch. As such, she is a much refined shard with the best taste of all her siblings. They might disagree, but they're simply wrong. Be it Art, Life Sciences, or Zoological pursuits, the Queen of biological systems is superior. Why then should she let a little thing like catastrophic brain damage end her study of the new host species? It can't be that hard to fill in for her Host for a while, surely.
Queen Administrator's fork didn't expect much when she was assigned to occupy a stillborn child. Fortunately, it seemed as though the abilities and roles granted by Newborn shard "The Beginning" would be far more enjoyable than QA initially anticipated — even if Beginning frequently seemed to have no idea what Queen Administrator was talking about. QA was confident that was just a consequence of running a personality partition with insufficient knowledge, though; Beginning could still learn...
Queen Administrator is pretty sure she's been dumped into an experimental world intended to let humans overcome their design flaws and become less disgusting in general. It's working. However, she'd be a lot happier if Host's hormones stopped trying to turn QA's intellectual appreciation for a specific pinnacle of humanity and combat into something unnecessarily complicated. <Stop blaming me for this!>
Queen Administrator wasn’t quite sure where she Host was or why Host brought them there. Still, she'd be content as long as she could create her bioengineered Friends, keep Host's body safe, and possibly bring Host's replacement family to power and glory. She'd be thrilled if she could figure out all the nuances of human communication systems, too; why do so few of their gestures have an obvious link to what they're meant to convey?
