Your Avatars in the Arena: The Reboot: Electric Boogaloo (Currently not recruiting)

Yeah, but I'm hoping trick her soul back toward the sword, say she can still fight, just need to wait until I find her a new body

...hmmmm...

Considering a Witch is pretty much made when a Soul Gem is corrupted enough to become a Grief Seed, and that's basically a soul in a jar/phylactery...would Soul Edge touching one for long enough just create a Witch form capable of wielding some form of Soul Edge?

I don't know, maybe somekind of weird bonding happen that cause Soul Edge to become a soul jar for her? Soul Edge itself is actually kind of like a weird daemon thing. It was an ordinary longsword bathed in blood for so long that it developed its own mind. It guess in that way, it is a sword haunted by the collective consciousness of all it had killed?

I'm sure there are things I could say about that but one, I'm trying to cut back, and two, it'd probably be funnier if Yumemi said them IC and not OOC.

Little girls killing each other, senseless death and killing every episode, bloody as hell, young people dying just to make plot points.
Must people see the person the character kills as a random write in dude, but I think of they as a regular guy with a family, emotions, and dreams. It all sounds super corny but it's just how I feel and can't help it.
It sucks more if you get to know the character a bit, is young, innocent, or just some good person. It hits my feels button hard.

Yes but it falls into the category of anime I don't watch for the reason they make me hate humanity and that is very sad to me in short. Don't watch any of them, the fact that it has little girls killing each other earned its spot on the list. The Feels hurt so much. The summery is a groping of way I hate that grouping of anime

...There are five magical girls in the original series. Not one of them kills another, bar a single witch-out thing that may or may not count (I'd vote not) and once or twice in alternate timeline/flashback shenanigans.

Are you sure you searched up the right series?

Yes PMMM wiki also post spelling is stupid because it's F ing up my words in some of my post and won't be corrected even if I retype the word

That doesn't seem familiar to me from what I know as well.

Still, I'm not very keen on animes as a whole since I have a fragile suspension of disbelief

I was answering @munchkinomatic with regards to suspension of disbelief.

Hmm. I have things to say on the matter but I'd rather avoid derailing things a little too much.

Suffice to say, yeah, Madoka Magica's reputation with regards to how it treats its characters is a little exaggerated. The final count was one character getting her head bitten off by a Witch and two girls biting the dust when one turned into a Witch and the other tried and failed to bring her back from her state, so they kind of settled for a draw.

There's a grand total of maybe one magical girl vs magical girl fight and the rest aren't so much fights as Hameru not wanting to stick around and deciding to flashbang her way out of unwanted social contact.

...are the spinoff manga just way more violent than the others? I'd say this sounds more like the Magical Girl Raising Project, but I haven't actually read that either.

MadoMagi just has the problem where it seems like nothing good ever happens to the girls when they're on-screen for the longest time, which I guess is the point you're going for, though people who level that criticism are much quicker to say they find that tiring, not extremely heartbreaking.

Being meguca isn't suffering, it's a meme, bro.

It says that one magic girl killed her friend due to she became a which

Witches aren't what you would usually think. Instead of creepy person in a black robe, they are abominations, giant monsters that take various forms. They only seek to harm others and a Magical Girl's job is to prevent that. They aren't what they used to be.

Here. This is the witch in question.

Witches in PMMM aren't people. When a Magical Girl goes witch, she's effectively dying and being replaced.

The spin-offs have other Magical Girls as antagonists, so there's presumably a bit more Meguca/Meguca conflict, yeah. I haven't actually read them either though.

That said, the manga adaptation is notably bloodier.

But yeah, this is getting a bit deraily.
