Okay, I don't think it's actually a good option - I'd rather Power Fist if we're going to do this the violent way, but still...LightMage said:[X] Meet violence with violence. Ramming speed!

I mean we have a skill, and if people can Suplex trains, I'm sure we can do it to a boar.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but more seriously, I'd be very wary of any attempt to directly use spiritual power (even as a sub-sub-component of Maximum Power), while we're in the mind state.Cytokinesis said:Okay, I don't think it's actually a good option - I'd rather Power Fist if we're going to do this the violent way, but still...
Oh?Judge Mental said:OOC: BIRTHDAY OMAKE ANNOUNCEMENT!
As various posters have noted, Xander Quest is now officially a year old. In honor of the occasion, I am prepared to write one or more omake starring the characters of the voters' choice. The following restrictions apply:
-- You may vote for any individual that has appeared in Xander Quest, been referenced in Xander Quest, or exists in canon for one of the universes that make up Xander Quest.
-- Up to three votes allowed per poster.
-- All votes must be marked [x], as usual. Votes that are not marked will not be counted.
-- The three characters with the most votes will get their own omake. In the event of a tie vote, the tied options will displace characters with fewer votes.
In light of SB's lag issues, voting will remain open until I say otherwise, so that everybody has a chance to participate.

If it was an actual boar, that might be a good idea. However, this is our spiritual totem. Why would "using our noggin" be any help with our totem animal, given that description? We either need to out-stubborn it, or find a way to calm it down.Totem of the Raging Boar: D++. Your actions have demonstrated an affinity for the Spirit of the Boar, who is fierce, fearless, and strong, yet also hard-headed, wild, and hungry.
I'm not really sure how to address your question, I just don't understand your frame of reference. Of course fighting intelligently is going to help. Just because those are the things the boar imparts on us as a benefit doesn't mean we have to be stupid about it. We are trying to prove our dominance over the boar and using our brain meats to achieve that dominance I would have thought would be obvious.Selias said:If it was an actual boar, that might be a good idea. Because doing this to an animal is a very symbolically powerful way of asserting our self in a way that doesn't involve violence or attempting to harm it. Staying on its back despite its best efforts is a great way of showing we out-stubborn it, and part of the imagery of the bucking bronco is that the cowboy should eventually calm the animal and stop it trying to throw him off.Selias said:If it was an actual boar, that might be a good idea.
