CHARACTER CREATION

Ah yes, the worldwide sensation of a boy grown alien monkey man who drunk some god juice and became the apex of his race. Then he didn't and he went god mode. Then he didn't. Point is the story is loose, but well known. A story where a man discovers his space people and keeps rising higher. The story of Son Goku, Earth's greatest warrior. That is not your story.

Now hold on there folks, lower the pitch forks, I understand the joke is old, but I assure you this quest will try to focus on a different angle. No offense to other quest but I feel that some elements are too under utilized, so lets just say that planning and imagination gets you far in this quest. What is this quest you ask? Why its a glorified AU, where I change the canon timeline to fit nicely into my very poorly laid out plans. But enough about me, lets get to you. Er..... exactly who are you? Be mindful some answers differ from what you may expect.

[ ] Your a man of good will. The good will of SCIENCE!
(Self explained, triggers a subvote)

[ ] Error, cooling modulator has been lost
(Beep boop, your a robbit)

[ ] Salt fills your nightmare fuel
(Wonderful your a slug person. A subvote is you)

[ ] Magic man with magic hands
(Don't you get pushed enough in quests?

[ ] A dog
(Don't you dare ask for biscuits)

[ ] ????
(Well aren't you just the specialist little snowflake. Trigger a subvote why don't you?)

Ah right, right. Don't see how I could have missed those obvious features. Well next up would be what exactly you wish to accomplish. Why do you uh...fight? Breath? Live? Be a good boy for?

[ ] Power
[ ] Fun
[ ] Love
[ ] Spite
[ ] Attention
[ ] You don't know
[ ] ????
[ ] Write In

Ah, yes I see. Its not a question of who you are but who you aren't? Dohohoho, this'll be a interesting one won't it? And aren't you one too eager to reach into the dark? Know now that some mysteries are best kept a secret. Regardless I suppose a lack of reason isn't as bad as- oh? Don't you realize?

That's correct you don't fight for anything. Its not that you don't know why you fight, but rather, that fighting and all your actions are a result of instinct, pure and true. Just as it is natural for a plant to grow for sunlight and water to flow, all your actions simply happen because they are what happen. No reason why or why not. But let the existential dread of a lack of understanding for your being sink in later. Right now your top priority is landing somewhere fun a and engaging. Make sure to make tons of friend buckoo, you'll need it for the threats that are building. Remeber all things in this universe a subject to change. Somethings have already begun without you knowing.

But lets leave that for later. You are being ported to:
(Reminder not all choices are as they seem)

[ ] A lovely fireworks show. Aren't they wonderful?

[ ] A dirt world? Crawling with insects too, ew

[ ] A really green area, with a huge crater covering it's surface

[ ] A green bean? Suppose its not the strangest thing you'll see

[ ] A very, very dark area, with very very unfriendly neighbors
[Warning, this is the choice most likely to end the quest]

[ ] A mining world? Industrialized, yet empty, this seems to be a strange place to land

[ ] You didn't actually land anywhere. In fact you are just floating in the deep expanse of space, but hey is that a spaceship?

First Turn
First Turn:

Ah yes, the slave planet. You landed with a loud plop, a writhing darkness of nothing, a mystery that would cause lesser things to have their head hurt. At first you consumed at will. You lashed at all that approached, and slaughtered as you pleased. All terrestrial beings, the tiny green ones, were wiped out one by one first the little green ones, scrawny and weak. They filled little, but they were all you knew. Then came the ones in armor. As is all routine you had started initial contact with a fierceness most would cower before. The men in helmets with wires made of metal tried to wrap it around you, to restrain you might. They suffered the same fate as the ones before. Your teeth, with and without mouths gnashed at them, tearing in and out, and their screams reverberated along your inky surface. The men cowered and fled in fear, their useless tools of rope being dropped behind. Then came the stronger men, with blasters and weaponry.

For the first time in your known capacity of existence you felt and understood pain. Had this been what you had inflicted onto others? Perhaps this is a chance to show compassion to use wit rather then wrath, and to truly connect with these strange beings you considered sustenance. You decided that it was indeed time to connect. Your teeth connected with their flesh as you morphed, large then small, somehow forcing your way forward into those who planned to hunt you. You hunted them all and hunted them good, leaving but scraps in your wake. And then you ate the scraps. The men let out new sounds of terror when you lunged and you categorized that as something you shall remember. You rested well that cycle, and felt joy as your power grew. The dead men inside of you had funny pictures, and slowly your own capacity grew. Capacity for what? You know not, but you know that it has. You would be left to your own devices for a period of time. You felt....fear occasionally. Spikes in something dangerous, beyond you and beyond your beyond. A green one more chaotic then you, who caused destruction in his wake. You hid during those times, unable to sight the beast.

You lived like that for some time, eating the few who passed, and lazing about. Occasionally hiding for your life but for the most part you were content. Then he came. The one who sought to bound the boundless. He was but another man you had thought. You were wrong. Very, very wrong. His shackles held still, keeping your writhing flesh chained. Your conscious your hunger, your being suppressed to a finite thing. Your appendages swung, tail, tentacle, leg, spastically you switched between them, trying to fix what was wrong. But try and struggle as you might, you were contained, forcibly obedient to the biped before you. Hisses left your maw, alongside screeches and shouts in pain. But despite it all the being stood before you wore a smirk like no other, and within a moment you knew hatred. Against all protests of your mortal body you lurched upwards, struggling from one hand onto another. Then the first leg, and the next. The bindings you wore shined harsh light, blindingly so, and the man himself looked shock, taking a step back momentarily. Perhaps you'd have noticed, but you were occupied, too focused on willing each wriggling mass after the other to come forward. Until eventually you had barely made it to the man thing. Despite normally being able to overwhelm anything before you, in your weakened state the smug flesh male. By then he had recuperated, appearing no longer scared at the sight of you.

Damn him, and his shackles and his chains, and his smile, you had thought to yourself. And with all weight behind you, you headbutted the man, only now realizing you too had taken the shape of a biped. Your hit landed squarely, and yet the man did not budge. Even more intensely did you rage at this creature, defying nature before you. He was prey and he was weak and you were not. Oh how you hated how he denied you what was yours by law. Perhaps you could stare him into a dead state? It would be worth a try.

Shifting your head you looked up into the man's eyes. No, make that eye. He looked down, black hair adorning his scalp and facial features. You had only a moment to glare at the filthy wretch before the pain you had felt previously exploded upon your cheek. Before you knew it you were on the ground, the man's outstretched hand being where you would have been previously had you been standing. Painfully gripping your cheek you stared back at the anomaly, who had not only stripped you of your might, but had dared to strike at you. Oh you hated him, deeply. He was weak, you were strong. He had to be, you must've been right. Right? You couldn't have been weak, so he must be weak...no if your not weak.... but then...…. is he stronger then you? Are you the prey? Is....is this where you are assimilated? No. No! NO! You couldn't die yet, you mustn't. You had to live, to run, to fight, to move! And yet on the ground you laid shivering in fear of this being who proved better then you. You were dead, and nothing you could do could change that.

And then the being began to speak, and the dead men aided you, let you know what the unnatural spoke.

"Know your place thing. You are not of here, I know that much, but you're also too valuable to waste. One monster was one thing, but with you.....well my revenge is very approaching. Hear my words and obey creature. I am Paragus, discarded saiyan, and father of legends. You will learn to bow or you will learn to die. Do I make myself clear?"

A momentary silence is had, in which you glare hatefully at the one named Paragus. He proceeded to hold up his hand and tighten his wrist, a glow emanating that sapped you and burned you to the core.

"Do I make myself Clear?" You're forced to bow your head in submission. Your feet level with his boots. A scoff and you practically hear the grin on his face as he turns back, out the mouth of your cave and begins to trek forward. You momentarily consider attacking now, or not following, but a return of the pain cows any thought of that. Begrudgingly you follow the man of unfair tools. You'd be further surprised when you came face to face with the green one of rage. Curiously, you ponder if the one who sent you here accepts returns.

TURN ACTIONS:
This'll be a special case in which you get a few extra actions this turn to help you flesh out the MC, but from beyond this point, the max number actions you will have will be 7 until a profession and specialty is gained. That will gift extra actions. Like I said, a lot of changes have occurred, this will be very AUish and I hope you'll be patient with me. Actions are separated into categories with DC's decided by me. Traits are secured by nat 100s, and bonuses will depend on which action you take and how. I can hear the questions already and yes, you can take an action more then once, and no I won't be revealing your power level yet. Nor will that be a thing you should focus on, as I'll be going more often then not judging by character level then pure numbers. That said, just because I won't be numbers heavy, can't think you can get off easy by not training. And the samem goes for the timeline, it certainly exists but don't worry about where you land.

First Turn RESULTS
Mysticism:
For reasons unclear to you, you had felt power bubbling inside of your core. Memories surface, and for some reason you feel a sense of familiarity to this energy source. Yet pull as you might the power seems to slip through you. This....hurts you. Beyond all else this pains you in the emotional sense. Your frustration radiates out, leaving you in a mood noticed by all. Though none seems seem willing to check why you're upset.
Learning:
Your attempts to garner a learning and education have failed you. Despite your best...alright perhaps not your best efforts, but despite your attempts the symbols the bipeds utilized for communication continued to escape you, with no substantial progress being made in learning or studying. The books as they called it were filled with these useless symbols, and it came to a point that eventually you had consumed the instructor out of frustration with their inadequate and useless teachings and instructions. Paragus had simply sighed in response to this, and refused to get you another despite your proclamations and truthful testimonies of the primary teacher's incompetency.

On the other hand your attempts to gain insight as to yourself and your bindings proved different. You aren't quite sure of yourself but you are sure of one thing. You consume what ever you so wish. At dinner in which you are fed sustenance of cooked prey thing, you eat all that was before you, and had to be stopped and were punished by Paragus for trying to consume the raised wooden platform he had called a table. You can eat and eating does not fill you, but eating lessens the need to eat. And you feel the need to eat a lot. Thus far anything consumed by your maw, has never resurfaced. Well you say maw, but in reality all that you touch at one point could've been eaten, but ever since your bindings nothing is as easy as it once was.

Speaking of the topic of your bindings, your looking into it was noticed by Paragus. At first you feared he would reprimand you, but instead he seemed amused. Chuckling he lowered on one knee, and dropped your childish body onto his lap, before rubbing your head. Confused at this affection you curiously wait for him to start shouting, before he explains simply. You are his tool, and nothing would change that. He makes no request no anger in his voice. He addresses you with certainty that your bindings are unbreakable and that due to them you are his son. And as his son you are his way to gain revenge against Vegeta. A smile genuine yet fierce sets on his face as he looks into the sky. Then he starts reprimanding you. With sparing use of the bindings of course.
Diplomacy:
One day you had decided that you wanted a Thing of your own. Perhaps if you were lucky you can tame your own Thing like Paragus had you, and use it to best him. So you left in search of something to tame a creature of mass destruction. When you returned riding a centipede like creature, with four bladed limbs, a chest, durable exoskeleton, and tentacles not too far from your own Paragus had decided to ban you from looking for more creatures. When you refused to return it, even under threat of shock he had finally gave in. He refused your idea of naming it Thing Two and much arguing was had, until Broly offered the suggestion of calling it Pryde. You both grudgingly admitted that the name was acceptable.
Martial:
You end up training hard exercising and refining what you can. At firt you had just flailed, summoning tentacle protrusions to lash out at whatever you saw before you. You grew faster stronger and more durable, but you would exhaust your ideas in training. But then you had met with Paragus in request to further yourself swallowing your pride. His response was to smile, and say "Good. A tool that wishes to serve me better. Alright Thing you'll get your chance to further impress me. Now, let us see what we can do." You excelled under him, becoming accustomed to a minor amount of strategy, but where you truly excelled in was your change in utilizing your fighting style. Rather than refine and temper your rage he taught you to unleash it in targeted bursts. You struck where possible and rendered the dummy's he supplied you to nothingness. You were an instrument of destruction, a devastating weapon, a to- NO. No you were not his tool. Yet... admittedly his methods proved useful. Perhaps further engagements could prove useful.
Personal:
When you told Paragus of your newest plant Paragus had been prepared to meet it. For some reason he had his men standby and be prepared, while grabbing more then one torch, which was strange due to it being daytime. But he let out a sigh of relief when he saw your prime gardening skills, a pot containing your clumps of plants called grass, and a few flowers. Pryde seemed enthusiastic by the plant life at least, staying near it and clicking sporadically at it. Likewise the plant thing responded and seemed to befriend him, growing towards him as he played with it. Unfortunately the traitorous being did not respond the same to you. Out done by your own Thing, this must be how Paragus felt before your might.

???????: 39
???????: 47
??????: 97

Nothing of note happened this year, and you were quite refreshed. For a second you felt as if you were being watched, but a quick glance proved your senses wrong. Perhaps it was just Paragus trying to spy on you again.

Second Turn RESULTS
Martial
Much of this year had been occupied by your attempts to increase your personal power. A series of exercising, had gone well enough, nothing outstanding but overall your....physique? Your strange biology kept up in trying to stay conditioned and ready for battle. No real improvements, but steady progress is always welcome. Your attempts at refining what had already existed went exceptional. You can say that you've gained a certain level of mastery over your body, and can safely say that you'll be able to combat people beyond the simply wild flailing. And that was not all, as you continued to make steady progress you also began to develop your own technique, using the life energy within yourself. The move was far from complete, but the basic premise was there and thanks to your own use of similar appendages to grab things you found the machinations easy to understand. Soon perhaps you'll be at the level to use this technique in combat and to be able to hold down strong foes.

Then came the biggest problem of your year. In your attempts to further the use of your unwieldy tentacles you found yourself conflicting with the acts you had taken to refine your own abilities. Perhaps you had over reacted, but something about this frustrated you heavily. So much in fact that you found yourself pushing it, trying to force the two synchronize., and something in you snapped. Or rather something attached to you. The band hadn't been broken off, but momentarily a crack appeared on it. A moment of euphoria filled your head. Perhaps freedom was within your grasp, and Paragus would rule the day he crossed you. Then pain, as you felt something... not you moved to escape. And you felt as if you were tearing yourself apart as you tried tearing out of each other.
But pull and push as ItWeyou did, nothing changed and yet everything changed. You had eventually found yourself waking up, a crack on your head gear and a...thing in your mind. You don't know how long you can keep this hidden for Paragus, but for some reason you find it imperative you do so.

Intrigue
Your attempts to find any relics goes well.....it goes. Nothing beyond a few old rocks and shiny things. You end up tossing them away, seeing as they don't even taste good. Ah well onto your most dangerous task yet.

Personal
You managed to make time to spend with the green one. Broly, your kinda brother seemed quiet and withdrawn, but he hadn't cast you out when you chose to spend time with him. The situation was oddly...peaceful. You managed to hang out a few times each enjoyable. Perhaps your kinship as tools of Paragus had made you able to sympathize with each other. At the last meeting Broly patted your head and gave it a good rub. Though your bristled at his sign of affection, it was one of the few times anyone acknowledged you. It was...nice.

Your hang out with Pryde and find your self nuzzling heads. The creature of mass death was rather affectionate, and you even got Broly to pet his carapace once or twice. Pryde was also really enjoying his time with Plant Thing, the flora growing as he moved and swayed around it. Chittering of enjoyment was had, and it felt good to take your mind off of the bindings fracture. This was a good year.

?????? Roll: 59
?????? Roll: 9
Nothing again happened this year of note. Well almost nothing but you're not sure whether it'll be worth your time to attend to it. Just some shady figure, too small to be one of Paragus' men scampering about.

[ ] Try and tail the figure, hopefully it'll be interesting
[ ] No, you don't really care(Start next Turn)

Second Turn RESULTS Pt. 2
You had decided to follow the shady small being. He traveled quickly down winding pathways and throughout the castle, ducking under crevices and had moved through halls you hadn't known existed, into vents and eventually out of the palace area that you dwelled alongside Paragus and Broly. Further still did the cloaked one move, onto the urbanized ruins you had seen while out exploring, far, far out till all other sign of flesh things had disappeared. You had barely managed to keep an eye on it, with it's scampering and if not for the scale of your accommodations you'd be sure you'd have lost yourself on this miserable planet. Then finally at the furthest end of the ruins, were stone met with flora native to this planet, the figure paused. He looked left and right, before ducking into the underbrush. You watched attentively waiting for him to come out, and spotted him once more, now 0 meters off from where he had entered, walking back into the urbanized environment with a brisk pace. Great one way back into another... You barely kept the groan from leaving your lips and set back onto the path, moving to follow the miscreant who dared to waste your time, and praying this wasn't a complete waste of time.

Back into the buildings the small one scurried, under debris long aged, and windowless holes left behind by time. Eventually he came into a single building and hadn't come out in the past hours you had waited. Sagging and dreary, not even the best architects could fix such a rundown ruin, and yet the prey thing stayed within. Tired of waiting any longer you had decided to enter. Carefully creeping in and avoiding any loose rocks or other noisy items that may tip off you're oblivious target you make your way into the precarious host of safety violations. You're first glance shows nothing of note, until you come across a trapdoor, poorly hidden beneath a rug that looked too out of place in such a rundown environment. Clasping the ring on top of the trapdoor let you access a stairway, recently carved by your examinations, too dark to see it's true depths even by eyes such as yours. Unlit torches litter the walls, and momentarily you debate using them but decide it'd be best to venture forth, acknowledging that the light would do more harm then good.

You journeyed for what must have only been minutes but felt like hours, as the repetitive stone greeted your vision. You come to a halt eventually when the stairway opened up to a larger cavern, torches stuck upon the walls and hooded figures running about. Some held rations, other books, all trying to whisper shout as they went about their business. A single unhooded face, bowing before a statue and letting out a solemn prayer revealed these were unbound workers, laborers stolen from the adjacent planet that Paragus had shown you. The green skin, some pale some dark was a distinctive feature, and the way they were running this place made you suspect that this had gone on for quite a long time. Doubling back, you reset everything outside the stairwell and get rid of any presence of your disturbance. Before you was a complex situation, one that could be handled a number of ways.

Oh if Paragus knew he'd surely dismantle this, performing a plethora of brutal killings and executions. Alternatively you could leave this here, for future blackmail or even to wait for Paragus until he was at his weakest to strike. The corner did show a training site though their moves were clumsy at best. A third option would be to try and assert yourself as ruler and attempt to create your own underground organization. They were adept at hiding at least and showed at least the basic ability to run themselves, so it'd be easy work for you to insert yourself. Or...or you could do non of the above, and deal with this problem yourself. You could feast and gorge yourself on the Prey Things, and feel the joys you had before being tamed by Paragus. Had you an actual digestive track you're sure it'd be rumbling at the thought and your tongue flicks across your lips. It is only right after all, is it not? The weak exist for the strong to benefit. You'd be doing them a service really. Still, perhaps there's an angle you haven't seen yet?

What will you do:
[ ] Notify Paragus, let him know of this puny rebellion
[ ] Leave the rebels here, let them build up and be a resource for you once they mature
[ ] Try and assert dominance, taking over the rebels to suit your own needs
[ ] Rip and Tear. Hunt and Pillage. Indulge in the chaos.
[ ] {Write In}

Second Turn RESULTS Pt. 3
Despite your abnormally loud stomach's grumblings you decide against primal carnage. Instead you decide it'd be best to lay down the foundation of your future. Leave this group alive incase they can prove useful later for you. Perhaps if given time to grow the measly group can be your own soldiers, capable of rivaling the army Paragus has erected, to aid and serve you. Without much fanfare you retreat back home, making sure that no tracks are left by you that could be traced by either side. Your return is tedious, but a bit before dusk you hobble back to the palace. Upon your return manage to avoid much scrutiny from Paragus as you arrive later home then usual, but with no creature in sight of which he must worry. You manage to sleep well tonight, thoughts of mutiny and revenge serenading you as you drift off. The year had started strange and ended on an odd note, but you were happy with this outcome.

Briefly you feel as though, light years a way, a hero who would impact this universe and change it for better or worse....had simply ceased. Perhaps you were simply having too much of a imagination, but for nevertheless you feel as though something has been changed. Perhaps...perhaps it'd be best that you hurried to get stronger.
