Yep. Or at the very least, it is possible for multicellular life to become anaerobic. Is it possible for anaerobic life to become macroscopic and multi cellular ?
Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if it already did.Venus has ample amount of solar and thermal energy available. Wonder if it could support large creatures without need for oxygen atmosphere.

The problem is that any sort of heat engine needs a thermal gradient to function. It doesn't work if you're just sitting around in a room at a constant high temperature.
I laugh because otherwise I must cry.NASA funding takes a hit as American Christians deny the existence of alien lifeforms and put political pressure on astronomy as a punishment for making such a discovery. For the next twenty years the pressure leads to a more militarised space environment as funding is re-purposed and adjusted in the US away from classical studies, with other countries following in order no to be left behind.
The ISS ends up in disrepair and eventually is discontinued as the support for it becomes more and more lopsided due to the US pulling out, and eventually others as space tensions rise.
The 2004-2007 era of "Teach the Controversy" creationism returns triumphant with a new thing to fight against, leading to a new generation of political anti-theism in the anglosphere.
What are you sniffing? wow, a small joke really triggered something in you both for a reaction like that, huh?
The deep crust is a possibility.
I could imagining life having adapted to supercritical water, using its different properties for exotic biochemistry.
