Except when he needs to spend a few episodes charging up the Spirit BombWhile Goku does frequently protect his friends, it's not really a source of power for him the way it is for, say, Natsu

That's usually less "friends" and more "living things in the general area".Except when he needs to spend a few episodes charging up the Spirit Bomb
Yeah it was a combination of having enough ki and the rage at Krillin's death that made him go Super Saiyan. Probably happens a bit in the movies too, like all the Z Fighters powering him up to defeat Broly.Didn't Goku obtain Super Saiyan because Freeza blew up his friend?
You know, while I have to admit the dub was top tier, the original features Megumi Hayashibara and anything that denies me the chance to hear her voices is automatically inferior.
Ichigo became Goku? I didn't get very far into Bleach, but I really wonder how they managed to pull that off.
I liked that in the 4kids version of One Piece they gave Nico Robin a southern accent for no reason other than the fact she wear a cowboy hat from time to time.
Sorry no can do.
Agreed. I even prefer Rock the Dragon to Cha-la head-cha-la. Facemelting guitar riffs > "SPARKLING!".I preferred Bruce Faulconer's rock soundtrack for the dub of Dragon Ball Z instead of the original Japanese music, with only a few notable exceptions.

I cant take Cha-la head-cha-la remotely serious anymore. Lucky Star ruined it for me.Agreed. I even prefer Rock the Dragon to Cha-la head-cha-la. Facemelting guitar riffs > "SPARKLING!".
