Whack Things With Key-Shaped Swords (Story Only thread)

Wonderland: Trickmaster Defeated
[x] Blizzard Raid it to start off, then run towards it and smash the face in with Blizzard Edge. Multiple times if necessary.

You stay on the counter, and throw another Strike Raid, but this time, you imbue the Keyblade with Blizzard. Throwing it at the Trickmaster, it freezes the giant Heartless solid. "Hey Donald!" you shout with a grin as sharp as an ice shelf. "Ever see a huge ice cube shatter?"

With that, you jump off the counter towards the frozen Trickmaster, and use a Blizzard Edge to bash its head in. When it hits the Trickmaster, first it has no effect.

Then, a small crack. It slowly gets bigger and bigger, spreading across the Trickmaster until it's completely covered in cracks. And it shatters. The Cheshire Cat's grin quickly disappears. "Impressive," he whispers.

Right as the shards hit the ground, a crystalline heart floats out of it, just like with Guard Armor. The Bizarre Room falls silent, until you hear the applause of the Cheshire Cat. "Bravo! Bravo!" he exclaims. "Not even the darkest shadow is safe from your light, Keybearer!" Speaking of light...

[X] Afterwards:
-[X] Check on Alice
-[x] Seal the Keyhole
--[x] If Alice wants to leave this world, take her with you back to Traverse Town. If your companions complain, say that at least 3 Princesses of Heart have already been captured at this point. Plus leaving a girl that's especially vulnerable to the Heartless behind would be kind of... Bad.
---[x] If she wants to stay, then wish her luck and head to Deep Jungle.

You walk over to Alice's hiding spot, and she emerges from it. She wipes the dust from her dress. "Thank you for saving me again, Sora," she says with a smile, curtseying towards you in respect. You grin, then go to the doorknob, with Alice, Donald and Goofy close behind you.

The doorknob yawns. "What a racket," he says crankily. "How's a doorknob supposed to get any sleep?" He yawns again, and you see Wonderland's Keyhole within his mouth.

At that, you point the Kingdom Key at the doorknob, and a beam shoots out. It goes into the doorknob, and you hear a click, signaling the Keyhole's locking and Wonderland's permanent safety from the Heartless. A navigational gummi falls out of the Keyhole.

"So Alice," you ask her, "what do you want to do? Maleficent and Xehanort will become more focused on searching for you."

Alice thinks for a moment, and looks around the Bizarre Room. "Well, Sora," she begins, "I know that the Heartless are going after me... but I can't leave this world. My family will be worried sick about me, so I have a different request. Can you get me back to Britain? I really must be getting home."

You sigh. "Well, I can do that. But on two conditions: Don't tell anyone there are other worlds out there, and good luck. Try staying home, and if you see men in black cloaks, you hide."

Alice nods. "I understand. Thank you so much, Sora."

"No problem," you say, somewhat reluctant... but Alice wants this. The four of you return to the gummi ship, and Alice looks around the vessel in awe. You then go up the rabbit hole, and to a small opening. Getting out, you crawl through first, and letting Alice out next. You're in a field, and you escort Alice to where a girl in a purple dress is waiting. You stay out of sight, and watch as Alice hugs her sister. The two of them walk to a nearby town.

Smiling, you make sure the two get to safety, trying to hide as much as you can. Afterwards, you crawl back into the rabbit hole, and the gummi ship leaves Wonderland, as you begin the flight to Deep Jungle.

X] Tell Donald and Goofy about the Replica thing.
-[x] You're not too worried about being a Replica yourself, but you're definitely worried about the real Sora. And how you're going to explain things to his friends.

You look out the window as the gummi ship leaves Wonderland behind. You turn to Donald and Goofy and sigh, sitting down on the bench near the entrance to the cabin. "Guys?" you ask, looking at them. "I have something else to explain. While hunting Heartless down there in Wonderland, I learned something about myself."

"Gawrsh, what is it?" Goofy responds, looking at you.

"I'm..." You look out the window and sigh again. "I'm a Replica," you confess. Well, this body is, but you're trying to keep things simple for the two of them. "Though I'm not that worried about it, I'm definitely not the real Sora." You can't understand why you're controlling this Replica, but your heart and this Replica's heart when it grows in... are they going to merge?

"You're not?!" Donald yells. "Then if you're a 'Replica,' what happened to the real Sora?!?"

"I have no clue," you say, "but I'm worried about what happened to him. And how am I supposed to tell Riku and Kairi that I've pretty much replaced their friend?!" You're seething now, and storm off to your room in the ship's cabin, where you sit down. You can barely hear the duck and dog discussing this.

[X] Talk to Ven and Vanitas
-[X] "Last I knew, you two were supposed to be sleeping in the real Sora's Heart. Yet both of you are awake and in my body, which doesn't have a Heart. Yetat least. What gives?"
-[X] Ask them about what happened to the real Sora.
-[X] Ask them about Kairi. Nowyou know why she's not talking to you, probably a bit mad that you've taken her friend's place, but shouldn't she be as active as the two of them?
--[X] If they're willing to help more, ask them how do we into Shotlocks and Command Styles.

"Alright, you two," you tell Ven and Vanitas. "Fess up. Last I knew, you two were supposed to be sleeping in the real Sora's heart. Yet both of you are awake in my body, which doesn't have a heart currently. What gives?" Silence.

I... don't know. I just suddenly woke up here. No warning whatsoever. Other than a slight pulling sensation, that is.

To me? It felt more like I was being invited in.
"Neither of you know?" you ask. Unison of refusal. "Well then... Ven, you were in Sora's heart. What happened to the real Sora?" You briefly see a pod.

To be honest, I have no idea where he is. All I remember is that pulling sensation, and then waking up inside your heart.
.......... "And Kairi? I know why she's not talking to me. She's probab-"

Her heart is here, but it is sleeping. Now shut your mouth.
"Wait, it's there?! Tell me if she's close to waking... oh, and what about Command Styles or Shotlocks?" you ask. "I should at lea-"

The Lanes Between/Deep Jungle: Do a Barrel Roll!
[X] Oh shit, it hurts you that she's here doesn't it? This entire situation just gets worse.
-[X] Tell them how she gets out of Sora in canon, and that that method might have side affects. Also where Ven's body is and about Roxas' s weird situation. Also Xion. That stuff might be relevant considering all the fuckery going on.

"Oh, shit," you say, "it hurts you that she's here, doesn't it? This entire situation just gets worse."

Brilliant, Holmes.
"Well..." You gulp. "I could see that originally, the real Sora released his own heart to free Kairi. As in he stabbed himself."

Wait, he STABBED himself?!
"Yep," you reply. "But it might have side effect...." you can't tell Ven some stuff. Vanitas would take advantage of of it, and you don't want that. You then tell them about how there's another Replica called Xion, made kind of like this body. Ven gives the occasional commentary, until you finish explaining about Xion. Afterwards, you leave the cabin.

You look outside after returning to the cockpit, and see a world up ahead.
Oh, hey. Deep Jungle. "Let's land there," you tell Donald. "We could find another navigational gummi there, like in Wonderland."

"I doubt it," Donald says, "that world looks deserted." You then take the wheel, rolling your eyes, and then you notice something.

There are Dusks on the gummi ship's wings.

"SHIT!"
you shout, steering the ship as much as you can to get the Nobodies OFF. One's about to enter the dark corridor, and you spin the ship. The Dusk breaks apart. Phew, it couldn't contact the Organization... but the ship is hurdling towards Deep Jungle.

And then you black out...

Waking up on a wooden floor, you're now inside the treehouse, where sunlight goes through the windows. The floor is mossy as well, and you can hear birds, along with seeing old wooden boxes. Then you hear a creaking.

Turning around, you see a fierce leopard with a savage look on its face. It roars at you, but at least its fangs aren't as sharp as Cerberus'.

Deep Jungle: Sabor
[X] SONIC BLADE.

You Dodge Roll away from Sabor, the leopard running after you. He's unusually fast, and you hide behind a crate. You get ready for a Sonic Blade, and-

Your heart skips a beat. He is right next to you. Sabor bares his claws, and you do a quick parry, before going for a Sonic Blade! Your attack destroys the crate, hitting Sabor multiple times as you rocket across the interior of the treehouse. Sabor snarls at you as you continue the Sonic Blade, until you knock the leopard outside.

With a look of savagery, he pounces at you again. You Dodge Roll out of the way again, but Sabor almost seems to be expecting that. He jumps right in front of you, before swiping by your shoulder and not hitting you, but exposing the wound from the battle with Cerberus.

You then back against a window, and do another Sonic Blade right at the leopard. Sabor growls, accepting your challenge, and lunges at you with bloodlust in his eyes. You rocket into the leopard, and again and again. Soon, Sabor falls to the ground. Sonic Blade: 1. Sabor: 0.

Approaching the leopard with the Keyblade out, you prepare to leave... But Sabor springs back up, attacking you. You guard with the Kingdom Key, but he growls at you again. He charges, when the ceiling of the treehouse gains a new hole in it. You hear something jumping from the rafters, and Tarzan lands in front of you.

He parries Sabor's attack with a spear, and then uses it to push the big cat back. Sabor slides across the floor, snarling at both you and Tarzan, but the latter snarls back at him. The leopard growls in rage, before jumping out one of the broken windows.

Tarzan's face is serious. "Sabor. Danger," he says.

"Uh... thank you," you reply. He repeats you, testing the words. He looks rather confused, though.

"Alright, Tarzan," you say to the ape-man. "So, I gotta ask... what do you know about a Keyhole? Or friends?"

"Keyhole? Friends?" Tarzan repeats.

"Yeah."

Tarzan gestures towards his heart. "Eh ooh, ooh ooh ah. Friends here. Keyhole here."

"Yep," you say. "You able to take me to them?"You briefly see Aqua and Terra, but when you blink again, they're gone.

"Eh ooh, ooh ooh ah. Tarzan go."
"Ven."
"I'm... 'Sora,'" you tell, glancing around, before leaving the treehouse, following Tarzan.
"Ven."
Tarzan jumps off the treehouse's edge, and you stay on his tail. Jumping down, you land on a branch covered in slippery moss. There, you see Tarzan sliding down. You go after him, and think to yourself about Flowmotion. Maybe you can try it sometime?

Sliding down the mossy branch, you hear birds and animals as sunlight shines through the trees. It's all in all, an African cloud forest.

So, Flowmotion... you could try it sometime soon. Better than swinging on vines, that's for oh hey there's the camp. You land flat on your face.

Deep Jungle: The Camp
[X] Ask Ven if he just heard his name called or saw Aqua and Terra. Try to find the source of the voice and see if Aqua and Terra is still around.
-[X] If you can't find anything, return to the tent.

"Ven?" you ask.

Yeah?
"Did you well... hear anything? Back at the treehouse? Because I thought I heard the voices of Terra and Aqua, and saw them for a split second... but when I blinked again, they were gone." Ven's silent. It's almost like he's contemplating what you said. He then sighs.

To be honest? Yeah, I kinda did. Dunno if it was a hallucination, a mirage, or an illusion... but it's definitely worth checking out.
You look around, trying to find the source of the voice, when a woman emerges from the tent. "What's all the hullabaloo about?" she asks, looking around the campsite. She probably heard your ten out of ten landing.

"Jane," Tarzan simply says.

"Oh! Tarzan!" she exclaims, and then glances at you. "And who's this?"

"My name's Sora," you answer. Even though it technically isn't. "I'm just visiting the jungle."

"Ah! You speak English," Jane says. "So then you probably aren't related to Tarzan." She tilts her head. "Are you going to study the gorillas during your visit? We could use the extra help."

"I'm actually not-"

"Highly doubtful," a deep voice interrupts. You see a man in yellow that's carrying a rifle approaching the three of you. Clayton. Accompanying him are Donald and Goofy.

"Sora!" Goofy greets.

"You cr-" Donald stops himself before he does something hypocritical and accidentally begins to meddle.

Clayton shrugs at the two of them. "I found these two creatures out in the jungle. I was about to shoot them when the shorter one talked." He then clears his throat. "A circus of clowns. Not much use for hunting gorillas."

Jane examines Goofy before looking at the hunter. "We're studying them, not hunting them," she says. "This is research."

While the two of them bicker, Goofy pulls a red block out of his pocket. "A gummi block?" you whisper.

"Yep," Goofy replies. "The King must've come here if we found this." You turn to the two humans, and see Tarzan in the background scribbling over a crude drawing of a gorilla.

"Jane?" you ask. The researcher turns to you, with Clayton scowling at Tarzan nearby. "Tarzan said two of my... friends are at a place called 'eh ooh, ooh ooh ah.'" Technically, you remember what that means, but there's a certain slide you can probably analyze now.

"Well," she says, "I suppose I could show Tarzan some slides. He was raised in the jungle by the gorillas, so he has a much vaster knowledge of the jungle than both me and Clayton."

"Alright," you tell her. Everyone soon enters the tent, and Jane puts up a slide projector. You wait until she gets to the castle slide, but though Sora didn't recognize it, you can see the similarities to a certain castle. Though it looks more like how it did ten years ago, you realize what the slide is portraying.

Deep Jungle: The Glare-Off
[X] "That castle looks familiar. Where did you get that slide?"

"That castle looks familiar," you tell Jane, gazing at the slide of Hollow Bastion. "Where did you get that slide?"

"This one?" she responds. "To be fair, this slide was never anywhere on this campsite until Clayton reported a sighting of a man in a black cloak." You flinch, and begin screaming internally. The Organization's here, too?! You turn to Donald and Goofy, looking rather worried.

[X] Talk to Donald or Goofy
-[x] Ask if they're alright, and if they encountered any Nobodies. There has to be a reason why they ambushed us.
-[x] Examine the Gummi Block while you're at it.

"You two alright?" you ask them.

"We're fine, Sora," Goofy says, seeming relieved that you are too.

"Good. Now I gotta ask... either of you see any Nobodies?" you continue. "There has to be some reason they ambushed us."

"Nope!" Donald says, his eye twitching. He still seems to be irked about the attack on the ship. He then glances outside. You then examine the gummi block, checking out what kind it is. Protect-G, maybe?

Anyway, you decide to hold onto the block for now. In the background, the slideshow is still going. Jane looks at Tarzan after it ends, and he shakes his head.

"Well, that only leaves one place," Clayton says as he enters the tent. You look at the hunter, and frown. "Young man, we've been in this jungle for quite some time, but other than the man in the black cloak, there have been no other signs of intelligent life in this hellhole." Jane gives Clayton a dirty glare as he speaks. "I'd wager there could be a chance they're with the gorillas. But Tarzan refuses to take us to them."

"Mr. Clayton, please don't be so derogatory of the jungle life. Tarzan, who may I remind you, is also a human being, wouldn't hide any-"

"Then take us to the gorillas," Clayton firmly demands, glaring at the ape-man while standing over him. "Go-ril-las!"

You give an "I'll-get-you-later" look to Clayton, while Tarzan glances at you. At the same time, the gorillas' home is near the treehouse. Maybe you'll be able to see Terra and Aqua again?

"Tarzan go see Kerchak," Tarzan says in broken English.

"Tarzan, are you sure?" Jane asks. "Who is Kerchak?"

Clayton nods at what Tarzan said. "He must be the leader. Perfect. I'll go along as an escort." You love how obviously evil he's being, yet the only reason you're playing along is to not cause a panic and be accused of insanity. "After all, the jungle is a dangerous place..."

Deep Jungle: The Dreaded Hippos
[X] Go ahead of the group using Flowmotion. See if there's any Nobodies, to try and prevent another ambush, while keeping an eye out for any Organization members. Also, keep an eye on Clayton. Discretely.

You decide to go ahead of the group, passing through a lagoon filled with hippos. Seeing some ivy, you decide to try Flowmotion. Jumping from the top of a nearby mangrove, you try sticking to the cliffs in an attempt to do a Wall Kick. However, you end up majestically falling into the lagoon.

While there, you keep an eye on Clayton from the water... until a hippo sneezes on you. You resist the urge to barf, and then remember that it isn't lions that aren't the most dangerous animal in Africa - it's hippos. Maybe you can lure Sabor in here?

And while you're swimming back to the ivy, you wonder if when you get to Atlantica, how spells will work underwater. Things seem realistic so far, so maybe Sonic Blade would work. You vow to test out Sonic Blade underwater as the very first thing you'll do in Atlantica.

You'd be shit at it. I hope it'd end in you crashing into things. That'd be hilarious! But that's just because I enjoy seeing your idiocy.

You scowl, and climb up the vines the boring way, quickly glancing at the others every so often. Eventually, you arrive in the canopy and look down into the lagoon. They're still down there, and you see the gorillas nearby. Majestically crossing the area, you see Kerchak quickly glance your way... and Dusks, going up a tree.

Right when you see the Dusks, you speed up your vine swinging, getting up to the area with the flowers, that you remember being called the Climbing Trees. You chase the Nobodies, now even more of them, back up to the treehouse. You run into where you fought Sabor and met Tarzan, where you see ceiling Dusks. Almost like an audience. The lexicon opens, as he summons a test.

"Anything you do will end in failure."

"Who's there?!" you demand, throwing a Strike Raid at the Dusks on the rafters. He grins. Time to bring this Replica back to the Organization.

"You're a fake. Never meant to wield the Keyblade."
She enters the treehouse, Stormfall in hand and a murderous look in her eyes. She intends to kill. Zexion observes the coming battle, and waits until the victor is chosen.

--[x] There's no way she'd still be using that outdated Keyblade!
---[x] Ask Ven and Vanitas for advice. Maybe one of them knows how to deal with illusions.
----[x] Inform your party members about Aqua being fake if they're around. Maybe they can look for the true culprit.

Looking around the treehouse, you climb up the stairs as Not!Aqua approaches you. You look up in the rafters, where you see an Organization member. "You're just messing with me!" you yell at him. "The real Aqua's not like that! There's no way she'd still be using that outdated Keyblade!"

Not!Aqua walks up the stairs, clenching Stormfall. "You will be alone in the end," she says coldly.

"How do I deal with illusions?" you whisper to Ven.

Illusions? Well whenever I fought illusory copies, it took a big hit to make it vanish. But since this is an illusion of Aqua, you need to be careful. She focuses in magic, so the best time to get enough hits to dispel this illusion is when she drops her guard. If.

"Well then," you mutter, Not!Aqua attacking only for you to parry with the Kingdom Key. She almost immediately jumps outside, before shooting a Blizzaga at you. She teleports more and more, going in for attacks at any possible moment.

Suddenly, Not!Aqua starts fighting as if she's using Spellweaver. Seeing this, you go on a retreat until she begins the spin, an ice crystal appearing above her. You Dodge Roll away, and right then go for a Sonic Blade as Not!Aqua leaves Spellweaver. The illusion is hit by your Sonic Blade, her form flickering.

Things then get worse, as she goes into a different style change: Bladecharge. You have no choice but to evade as you leave the treehouse for the ramps. Not!Aqua uses Bladecharge, and you go in for a Strike Raid right as she raises the blade above her head. The illusion screams, and shatters.

Inside the treehouse, you note the man up in the rafters going into a dark corridor. The place goes quiet after he leaves.
About five minutes pass, until you see Terk run into the treehouse, the gorilla playing around with an empty box. Watching from behind a barrel on the second floor, you hear the sound of a rifle being prepared. Clayton's here.

Next, you hear the sound of an explosion, and Donald. "What's the big idea?!" he yells. You notice more of the gorillas watching the scene. Including Kerchak about a yard away from you.

"Kerchak!" Tarzan shouts, running inside. He looks around, first at Terk, then Kerchak, then back at Clayton. His gorilla-speak stops, and he lunges at the hunter. You can only watch as Tarzan grabs Clayton by the throat and pins him against the wall. "You did!" he snarls in fury.

Clayton's eyes dart left and right. "You don't understand!" he stutters. "A snake slithered by! I saved that poor gorilla's life!"

Tarzan's eyes narrow, and the hunter claws at the ape-man's arm. But Tarzan soon relaxes... but throws Clayton towards an old crate, where he lands with a crash.

Just then, Sabor jumps through the window and pounces on Tarzan, pinning him to the ground. Tarzan holds Sabor's head back with his hands, and you notice dried blood on the leopard's side. Goofy then throws his shield at Sabor, and a lightning bolt comes down nearby. The leopard is thrown off the ape-man, and he hits the wall. You next hear gunfire.

Sabor roars, and flees out the same window he entered from. "That God-forsaken leopard just won't die," Clayton says angrily. "Yet again, it escaped after I shot it."

You scowl at Clayton as all of you return to the campsite. "Don't give me that 'there was a snake' bullshit, Clayton," you tell him.

"Excuse me?" he replies. He glares at you.

"Hunting gorillas on a trip to research gorillas? Seriously, that just throws the credibility of everyone involved out the window. Not to mention it's guaranteed to make Jane hate you," you continue. Clayton's eye twitches even more as he looks to his gun. You're officially sure he's trigger-happy now.

Eventually, you reach the campsite around sunset, and enter the tent. Tarzan tells Jane everything in broken English, and she listens to him, before turning to the trigger-happy hunter.

"Mr. Clayton! How could you have done such a thing!" Jane yells at the hunter in fury.

"Told you," you whisper to Clayton with a shit-eating grin on your face. He glares at you, before turning back to Jane.

"Now Miss Porter, as I told you, I was not aiming at the gorilla-" Clayton begins, holding his hands up in defense.

"You are not to go near the gorillas again! If my father were not so ill, I'd have him send you straight back to England - immediately!"

"All over one mishap?" Clayton chuckles, before leaving the tent. You and Tarzan give him death glares the whole time.

"I have to admit, that was pretty cool," you tell Tarzan.

Jane then clears her throat. "Well, there's some supper for our guests, and some sleeping room, too."

Tarzan's already awake. He's quivering in rage, while Jane goes pale. You narrow your eyes, as Donald and Goofy get their weapons, but you notice Goofy has a nightcap on. "Clayton," Tarzan says, saying the name like it's poison.

"Would Mr. Clayton really try such a thing?" Jane wonders anxiously.

"Well, he did try shooting a gorilla yesterday," Donald points out. "And it's three in the morning..." he mutters to himself. Jane gets a lantern, and the five of you all depart the tent to see something black and red laying in the campsite.

You move closer, and see what it is. "Oh, shit...." you say, looking at it. "This wasn't in my future vision..."

This isn't hunting. This is murder.

It's the bloody corpse of a gorilla, and it looks like it was shot recently, too. Tarzan lays down, face in the dirt, as he silently cries. Jane has her hand on his shoulder, and she's crying too.

The gorilla's mouth is agape, as if it screamed as it died. Blood drips from its wound and into the soil below. And you can clearly see that it's obvious. Clayton hunted it down. Yet he left the body behind. Almost like he just wanted to kill it for the hell of it.

Tarzan slams his fist around the ground. "Donald?" you ask. "Can you heal it?"

"Sorry, Sora, but Cure doesn't work when something i-i-is... dead." You hear Goofy sniffling behind you, and he helps Jane back to the tent.
"Bury," Tarzan simply says. But just then, Heartless appear! It's some Powerwilds and Bouncywilds. The four of you immediately dispose of the Heartless, and even more appear.

You decide to cast Fire while using Sonic Blade, and you rocket through the simian Heartless. Then, you see a Powerwild take the gorilla's heart, and just like the woman in Traverse Town... it crushes it. You slice through the Heartless... and even more appear, but now accompanied by Aerial Knockers.

You do another Flame Blade to destroy some Powerwilds and Bouncywilds, before seeing Donald strike down an Aerial Knocker with Thunder. You cast Thunder as well, and another Aerial Knocker is destroyed. Last but not least, a Heartless you dread soon appears. It's a Living Bone. "Tarzan!" you yell. "Protect the others in the tent!"

You hear the crashing of thunder in the distance. A storm's coming. Tarzan nods, and runs over to the tent. Meanwhile, you spam Flame Blade on the Living Bone, trying to destroy it as quickly as possible. The Living Bone rampages across the campsite, and you chase after it while keeping up the Flame Blade.

Soon, you eliminate the Living Bone, and the campsite goes silent. You see Tarzan leave the tent with Jane. "Find Clayton," he tells you, and you couldn't agree more as rain starts falling.

Running into a bamboo forest, you see Sabor prowling nearby. Tarzan then begins engaging Sabor in battle, while Donald and Goofy assist him. They soon go deeper into the forest, and you're all alone in the rain.

Another crash of thunder, and the grove is consumed by a soft red glow. Red lights fall around you. The night sky's orange now, almost exactly like the storm from the islands. Turning around, you see a member of the Organization approaching you, with two ethereal blades lit.

"Xemnas," you say coldly.

[x] Did you decapitate Clayton for me? I prefer not getting shot while you are monolouging.

"Did you decaptitate Clayton for me?" you ask. "I prefer not getting shot when you're monologuing." You summon the Kingdom Key, but Xemnas simply shakes his head and raises his hand as another cloaked figure arrives.

"I do not wish to engage you in battle," he says. "I have only come to this world to observe." He looks up at the orange sky as the rain continues falling. "The Heartless mindlessly collect hearts, and that is the reason you were created."

"Ven? This guy's Xemnas, the Nobody of Master Xehanort," you whisper in your mind.

Wait, what?! That's Xehanort's Nobody?

"Yep. Though he says he's not here for a fight." You ready the Keyblade for a fight. "So," you begin, "are you going to explain what this is all about? As far as I know, only your Organization is capable of creating Replicas. If your goal was to create a Replica Keyblade Wielder, or a Replica with future knowledge, then it would have been to your advantage to keep it close to you instead of letting it run around by itself. And if I was a threat, you could have easily sent two or more members at once to capture or destroy me. It's not like you're short on members these days." With that, you finish by saying this: "So what's the point of all this?"

The cloaked man takes off his hood. Xigbar. "Well kiddo, you were made to collect hearts for us. Only the Keyblade's able to release captive hearts from the Heartless and send them to Kingdom Hearts."

"Cut the crap," you tell Xigbar. "I know why Xemnas and Xehanort founded the Organization. It was because when the χ-blade was split into twenty pieces, thirteen were of darkness."

"Keep going," Xigbar says with a shit-eating grin.

"You'd hook them all up to Kingdom Hearts and make them into Xehanorts. And where do I play in this?" you demand, clenching the Kingdom Key tightly.

"Guess."

It hits you. Roxas hasn't been made yet, so... "You want to make me into the thirteenth dark vessel when Kingdom Hearts is complete!"

"Bingo!" Xigbar exclaims, smirking. "Right on the money, kiddo! Xemnas! Tell him about why he was left on the islands!"

"We were not the ones who left you there," Xemnas says darkly. "It was-" You can't hear the name, as thunder loudly crashes above you. "As for why the Organization's attacks on you occurred... only Marluxia took a direct approach. We want to analyze your changes first. Of what growing a heart will do to you."

"...that's why Zexion made the illusion of Aqua," you tell yourself quietly. "So you're just playing mind games with me, Xehanort?" you snap at Xemnas.

"Uh, no shit," Xigbar cuts in. "As if you'd hold a candle to the potential of the true Sora." You're practically shaking in fury now. The Freeshooter then opens a dark corridor. "Go on, Replica! Fetch us more hearts!" With that, both Xemnas and Xigbar depart, leaving the sound of the rain.

Heartless appear all around you. You clench the Kingdom Key in rage. "I won't let them win," you say to yourself. You then look at the Keyblade. "Even if I'm not a true Keyblade wielder in the slightest..."

You glare at where the dark corridor once was, then back at the Heartless. You think about your conversation with Axel back at Wonderland. "I'll use every chance I can to spit in your face, Xehanort!"
And it will guide you to saving Master Aqua.

[X] The solution is simple: We'll simply get strong enough to annihilate the Organization before they can use Kingdom Hearts. It doesn't matter what their plans are if we destroy them before they can implement it.
-[X] We don't compare to the real Sora in terms of potential? We'll see if that holds true when we've finished gathering power. Letting us run around like this is going to be their greatest mistake.
--[X] And if our power alone isn't enough... well, that's why we're going to rescue Aqua and get Ven his body back, isn't it?

You scream, and slice through a Powerwild.

Harness this hatred of my master. Destroy as many Heartless as you can.

"Shut.... up! My solution's simple!" You'd get strong enough to destroy the Organization before they have a chance to use Kingdom Hearts. It doesn't matter what their plans are if you wipe them out before they set it into motion.

You heard Braig, didn't you? You don't have the same potential as the real Sora, idiot.

"Let's see if that's true when I'm stronger," you respond, destroying an Aerial Knocker. "Analyzing me is their greatest mistake. And if my power alone isn't enough? Why do you think I'm gonna save Aqua and Ventus?"

Shut your mouth.

"No way in hell!" you shout. "I'm gonna start by saving this world!"

Heh... you have my eyes now. Side effect of me hanging out here and your still-growing heart.
You look in a puddle, and it's true. Your eyes are now a deep gold, and you look at it, then run into a canyon. This storm's like the one at the islands! There's no time for this bullshit. You hear the sound of a waterfall, and you know the Keyhole's near.

In the canyon, you see Tarzan battling Clayton, with Donald and Goofy helping too. Jane and the gorillas are watching from somewhere safe, as thunder crashes. Then everything halts to a stop. The Powerwilds all turn towards Clayton, before dogpiling him. You see them cover the hunter, and he doesn't even scream.

You run up to the three of them, and all of you watch what happens. A burst of darkness explodes from the pile of Powerwilds, knocking them all into the walls of the canyon. Clayton stands there, radiating darkness. Lightning flashes as the wind picks up, which complements the hunter looking completely insane.

Goofy's jaw drops. "How's he still alive?" he asks.

Tarzan takes a breath. "Not Clayton," he says. "Eh ooh, ooh ooh ah. Not Clayton!" Oh shit. Clayton's lost his heart. Almost to nail in the fact, the cliff wall behind the hunter explodes. You shield yourself from the debris, and see Stealth Sneak for a brief moment, before it goes invisible. Lightning flashes in the distance, as the storm gets only worse with Stealth Sneak's appearance.

Deep Jungle: Clayton and Stealth Sneak (Part 1)
[X]Fight Invisible Foe. Mark Invisible Foe. Use Water and Dust to Stain his hide and Shock Him!
-[x] Channel Thunder into your Keyblade before going into Sonic Blade: Spark Blade
--[x] Make sure to deflect Clayton's shots back at him.
---[x] Use Thunder magic instead of Fire, since it's raining Fire magic may be less effective.
----[X] Failing that, try using Command styles. Maybe Ventus' first one, Fever Pitch/Speed Rave? We do have his heart so...

The canyon soon explodes into chaos, as all of you begin battling. You see Tarzan get knocked back, no doubt by Stealth Sneak. The watching gorillas scream and roar in disapproval, pounding their fists on the closest flat surface they can find. You glare towards where you think Stealth Sneak is, and cast Aero to stir up the dirt.

"Tarzan!" you shout. "Kick the dirt towards where I'm pointing!" The ape-man nods, and does so. You then cast Thunder on the floating dirt, and hear Stealth Sneak roar.

Hey dumbass. That hunter's trying to shoot you.
"Crap!" you yell, before guarding to deflect Clayton's gunfire. It seems he's mainly letting Stealth Sneak do the fighting, who you then focus on. You channel Thunder into your Keyblade, and as it begins sparking with lightning, you go for a Sonic Blade.

The electrified Sonic Blade goes towards Stealth Sneak, and you manage to knock it to where it's exposed to the sky. And the rain.

Water conducts electricity, so...

You cast Thunder. Lightning descends from the sky and zaps Stealth Sneak, and you deflect another round of gunfire from Clayton. You run towards the chameleon Heartless with the Kingdom Key, and slice at it. It roars, before spinning around. "THUNDER!" you shout, and again, Stealth Sneak is struck by lightning. The gorillas' roars soon turn to cheers at that.

Afterwards, you notice that one area of the canyon is overhanging. You get an idea, and run to the cliffs, climbing up the vines. "Donald! Tarzan! Get the floating dirt and water over here!" you order.

Still, it looks like the rock is too high, but there's some vines on it. But then, you see Tarzan do some kind of gesture towards the observing gorillas. Almost immediately, you see Terk drop the vines down. Giving her a grateful smile, you get to the rock and begin attacking.

Stealth Sneak is right beneath you, and the rock breaks, bonking the semi-invisible Heartless on the head. You follow up with a Spark Blade. And finally, Stealth Sneak becomes visible. And yet you still ponder your growing heart.

[X] Cast Aero on yourself and go in for melee.
-[x] Cast Aero on whatever teammates are going into melee range with you, work together to deal as much damage as possible
--[x] Focus on physical skills, but use Spark whenever it's possible to hit both Clayton and the Stealth Sneak

You cast Aero on yourself first. Not only that, but you also cast Aero on Tarzan and Goofy. Next, all three of you run towards the now visible Stealth Sneak. The reptilian Heartless hisses and shoots lasers at you, but you get by as many as you can. Attacking Stealth Sneak, you slice its chest.

Next, you see Donald shoot down a Thunder on the soaking Heartless, and it screeches. You then position yourself for a Spark Blade, before ramming Stealth Sneak with the Keyblade. The Heartless slides across the canyon, landing near Clayton. You use that opportunity to attack them both with Spark. The crystals tear into both of them.

Finally... you, Tarzan, and Goofy all attack Stealth Sneak at once. The chameleon roars from the attacks, and flails around. Stealth Sneak then falls unconscious. Clayton looks at the fallen Heartless, before murderously glaring at you. His eyes seem to be yellow, with the white having gone completely black. His skin seems to be dripping darkness, as his limbs occasionally fade into shadow before resuming their previous form.

Lightning flashes behind the hunter, making him look like a crazed demon. He reloads his gun. He's cracked.

[X] Stay mobile to dodge Clayton's shots
-[X] Ask Ven for advice with that. Hit and run is what he was knownfor
--[X] Take pot shots at him with your various spells while you close the distance and start CQC
---[X] Delegate Donald to support and get Goofy to join you, but prioritize defending Donald
----[X] Tarzan can just do whatever he wants

You stay mobile as Clayton opens fire, Dodge Rolling at any attack. Weaving around the canyon, you decide to ask for some help. "Donald, back me up!" you yell. "Goofy, defend him while I get up close! Tarzan can do whatever." They both nod, and you go to Ven. "Speedy attacks are your speciality, right? Any tips?"

Don't stop moving! When you get close to Clayton, renew Aero to help against point blank gunfire!
At Ven's words, you nod as you run towards the psychotic hunter, brandishing the Kingdom Key. On your way, you try casting Blizzard, but merging it with Fire. Instead, a jet of water emerges from your Keyblade, spraying Clayton.

Next, you jump onto a nearby cliff and cast Thunder, focusing on the metal of the gun. A lightning bolt strikes the gun, frying it and zapping the hunter, who lands in the mud. He looks at the fried gun wildly, as if he was looking at his own severed limb. He then turns to you with a crazed look. Clayton then charges at you almost instantly, and rockets with the power of the dark to grab your collar.

He throws you at a cliffside, and you feel blood on the back of your head. Clayton then pulls out a machete and run towards you. But suddenly, it gets parried. By Tarzan's spear. "Tarzan do whatever," Tarzan says to you. "So Tarzan help." You smile, but that quickly changes to glaring at Clayton.

"Time to end this," you mutter. Tarzan pushes Clayton back, and you do a Spark Blade right at him. You do as many melee attacks as you can, Tarzan aiding you. The hunter's pushed back towards the unconscious Stealth Sneak, and you raise your Keyblade towards the sky and cast Thunder.

Lightning strikes the Keyblade, and you lunge right at Clayton with your electrified weapon. The canyon goes silent as lightning flashes in the background.

You just watch as Stealth Sneak comes to, flails, and falls on top of Clayton. Two hearts float up from where they're defeated. The rain slowly comes to a stop as a sunrise peeks over the jungle.

Silence covers the canyon for a few minutes, before the gorillas begin cheering. Jane approaches you all. "That was extraordinary," she says in awe, and a bit of terror as she looks towards where Clayton and Stealth Sneak were.

"They say," Tarzan begins.

"I think I know," you respond. "They're proud of us."

[X] Too much light? What a load of bullshit. That might have been true during the age of fairytales, but that's long gone. The Keyblade War happened. Light expired and Darkness prevailed. Some of the worlds have been brought back, but now there's Darkness everywhere.

"Too much light?" you ask Vanitas. "What a load of bullshit. That might have been true during the age of fairy tales, but that's long gone. The Keyblade War happened. Light expired and darkness prevailed. Some of the worlds have been brought back, but now there's darkness everywhere. Look at what happened to the islands, and what almost happened to this world."

You take a deep breath, and continue. "And now, your master wants to start another Keyblade War. Because killing light once wasn't enough." He's silent for awhile. "Yeah, balance, totally."

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Your eye twitches, and you groan. He's probably in one of his moods, and you just go ahead into the side cave. It's closed off by moss-grown stone slabs, and before you is a huge tree. The surface is covered in vines and moss, and just above the roots is the blue light, coming from bioluminescent butterflies.

It seems like the others were talking before, as they just seem to be entranced by the glow. You stand before the tree, and the butterflies fly off and out of the opening at the top of the cave. Beneath them is Deep Jungle's Keyhole.

Pulling out the Kingdom Key, you point it at the tree. A beam appears at the tip of the Keyblade, and it enters the Keyhole. All of you hear a loud clicking noise as the vines briefly glow blue. Then, a navigational gummi falls out. Donald picks it up, then he sees Terk eyeing him. She nudges the duck's side.

"It looks like someone has a new admirer," Jane says. Donald jumps in surprise. Tarzan smiles at Terk before nodding at her and laughing. The young gorilla returns the smile to Tarzan before staring at Donald again, who glances around at you all.

"No no no no!" he yells. "Daisy would kill me!" Everyone begins laughing, but you just stare at where the Keyhole was. Donald flops to the floor in defeat.

You then feel Tarzan tap your shoulder, and he gives you a blue keychain themed like a butterfly. You also see an old scroll in the corner, then pick it up. It looks like it's for Cure. Lastly, you turn to where you were staring before.

"It is a bad thing..." you whisper. As for Xehanort? You promise he will be stopped. Though how can you defeat both his Heartless and Xemnas without reviving Master Xehanort? That thought stays with you as you, Donald (still humiliated), and Goofy say goodbye to Tarzan, Jane, and Terk, who return to the camp.

Donald and Goofy begin leaving the cave, and you look back at the former location of the Keyhole one last time. What were those two voices you heard in the treehouse? You then get to leaving the cavern, and back to the ship.

[X] Return to Traverse Town
-[X] Go 'unlock' Yuffie's route and seduce her

The gummi ship lands in Traverse Town, and you see Yuffie in the First District. These priorities come first, as you do a wolf whistle to get her attention. She looks at you and raises an eyebrow.

You grin, and make meowing noises. You are not good at the art of seduction. "Hey beautiful," you say to her. "How're you doing?" Yuffie's sweating. She looks a mix of freaked out and flattered.

"Are you trying to flirt with me?" she says, rather confused. You give a dumb grin and nod, and hear Donald groan in frustration. Yuffie looks left, then right. "Uh... I gotta see Squall!"

You're a Replica. A kind of Nobody. And your heart's still growing, so I doubt you can process love.

She backs towards the doors to the Third District and runs through them, and you chase after her. But then Armored Knights land in front of you. You go in for the kill, when someone slices through them. Riku. Yuffie's watching from the plaza's overlook.

"Hey Sora, when did you become a stalker?" he asks, puzzled at you. He's holding Soul Eater. "I thought you'd be looking for that 'Demon Tower' too."

--[X] "Also, be careful about using the Darkness to much. Just... it makes you a megalomaniacal, paranoid, edgelord. And there's things hiding in it that would probably like to possess your body. You don't deserve that. And Kairi and Sora don't either, especially since they really need your help."
--[X] "On a somewhat related note I was planning to head over to Merlin and the Fairy Godmother about getting my own face. I kind of feel uncomfortable using Sora's when I'm not actually him."

You glance around the Third District, then look at Riku. "Okay, there's actually a couple of issues you should really know about. Like now," you say to him. Then you look back at the sky, and can see a black speck flying in circles over the Second District, before beginning to turn towards the Third. With a closer look, you can barely make out what it is.

Maleficent's crow.

Seeing the bird, you suddenly grab Riku and run towards Merlin's house with him. At the door, you can see the crow circling the Third District now. "Merlin, we need to go down to the waterway!" you yell almost frantically at the wizard, and he opens the way down, though he clearly looks confused. Panting, you take Riku down into the secret waterway. "We should have plenty of time to have a longer talk here," you explain, letting out a sigh of relief.

"Sora, what is going on?" Riku asks, rather worried. Well, time to spill the beans.

"Alrighty," you reply before getting started. "So, first off. I have Kairi's heart in me, and she's fine. Sleeping, but fine."

Riku's face is a mix of shock and confusion, before he sighs in relief. "Well..." he rubs his right hand against the back of his head. "That's a relief." At the same time, you can practically sense the skepticism he has now.

"Second off, what do you know of Nobodies?" you ask.

"Nobodies?" Riku repeats, testing the word. "What are those?"

You look towards the mural of the night sky. "When a heart is lost, it becomes a Heartless. But you probably know that, so I'll skip ahead. Anyway, if the body had a strong heart, it would leave behind a shell of its former self. The shell takes on a life of its own, and that's how a Nobody is born. The strongest Nobodies are actually humanoid, and they form Organization XIII. And one type of Nobody is called a Replica, which is similar to a clone."

You gulp, and sit down. "I'm not Sora," you confess. "I'm just a Replica of him." And before you can explain any more, Riku's face changes to one of complete fury as he points Soul Eater at you.

"Then where's the real Sora?!" he demands. "We've been friends for ten years, and all of a sudden you come at me with this bullshit of being a clone?!"

You sigh. "I do not know where he is, sorry. And back on the island? I really did think I was Sora at the time, and for that, I apologize. Now put your weapon away, as I have something else to tell you." Riku lowers Soul Eater, but he's still rather angry-looking. "I do know who the asshats that kidnapped him are though, and I'll probably be needing your help to punch their faces in." You shrug. "It's complicated."

The scowl leaves Riku's face as he sighs. He still looks suspicious of you though, and you continue even further. "Also, be careful about using the darkness to much. Just... it makes you a megalomaniacal, paranoid, edgelord. And there's things hiding in it that would probably like to possess your body. You don't deserve that. And Kairi and Sora don't either, especially since they really need your help." You look him straight in the eyes, your blue meeting his turquoise.

"But the memories thing is true. And isn't that your goal? Strength, to protect what matters." You smile. "So can you promise me to help Kairi and Sora?"

Riku looks around the waterway for a few seconds. "I'll do it," he responds.

"On a somewhat related note, I'm planning on heading back up to Merlin and the Fairy Godmother about getting my own face. I kinda feel uncomfortable using Sora's when I'm not actually him," you finish.

"That I can agree on," Riku says. "Who's to say Tidus, Wakka, Selphie, or Sora's mom made it off the islands? They'd probably be just as worried, too."

"So Riku," you ask. "What have you been up to? How have you been?"

"It's been alright," he says, putting away Soul Eater. At least he doesn't seem that angry anymore, except for the frown. "I was trying to find Kairi until what you told me about her heart. I guess now I uh... don't have to worry about that now? I guess I should look for Sora instead. Anyway, what should I call you?"

"Uh... how about Haru?" you reply. "It can mean things like light and sun in Japanese, so I guess it'd work."

"Okay then, Haru," Riku says, testing the name. He seems more puzzled now than angry, but at least he isn't trying to kill you.

"Now then," you continue. "The situation's this: There's an evil old guy named Xehanort who wants to start an apocalyptic war on the scale of Ragnarök. And all this chaos with the Heartless? Just one of the many, many steps in this insanely complicated scheme. The Organization? Also part of this plan."

Riku blinks. "From what you've already said, the plan of this Xehanort guy's confusing enough already." You couldn't agree more.

"So tell me, have you made any new skills or spells?" you ask him eagerly, but your smile turns to a frown as he shakes his head. "Dammit, there was a high chance I'd try copying them." Riku sighs, and pinches the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Well, time to introduce you to everyone!"

You proceed to grab Riku again and drag him back up to Merlin's study. "Hey Merlin?" you ask the magician after introducing him and the Fairy Godmother to Riku.

"Hm? What is it?"

"I actually might need a different face. Since I'm not actually Sora, it feels kinda uncomfortable having his face. Are you able to change it at all?"

"Ah yes. The stars told me that," Merlin replies. "So the closest thing I can do is a permanent masking spell. Though I'll need the assistance of the Fairy Godmother for this." He looks to her, and she nods. They both stand in front of you.

"Are you sure you want to do this, dear? The spell can't be reversed after it's cast," the Fairy Godmother says.

"Yes, ma'am," you confirm. "It feels wrong looking like Sora..." She nods in understanding. She then steps back, and both of the mages take out their wands. They wave them, and there's a blinding flash.

Afterwards, you turn towards a mirror and see your new face. You're a redhead, but your hair's literally red. Part of it covers your right eye, and it's not really damn spiky like Sora's - it actually looks normal. A bit long, but not as long as Riku's. You stil have Sora's clothes though.

You also have an icy blue scarf for some reason. Which seems to have been designed with dandelion seeds in mind.

-[X] Let them know to be wary of Maleficent's spies in the town. There's no telling what she's up to now that things are so off the rails.
--[X] Ask Merlin if he has any new spells to teach before you head back out
[X] Find Donald and Goofy to tell them you're you
-[X] Continue to introduce Riku to EVERYONE.
--[X] Ask them how they like the new you.
---[X] Apologize for freaking Yuffie out. It may help unlock her route!
[X] Then go find Squall. And Cid too, so he can upgrade Highwind.

You can't help but get a sense of familiarity from the blue scarf, and it's nibbling at your mind. "Ven?" you ask.

Yeah?

"Does this scarf seem... familiar to you at all?" you continue, running a hand through your now red hair. "You have any clue why?"

.....funny. It feels as though I've seen a scarf like this before. I dunno, I just have this hunch. And same with the dandelion flower... it's weird. I once asked Master Eraqus about why I have a nostalgic feeling when I see dandelion seeds, and he immediately told me about needing to have a private conversation with Master Yen Sid. Afterwards, he said that I would learn when I had my Mark of Mastery exam....

You gulp, and remember just what happened to Eraqus. "And because of Xehanort... murdering him, you never got the chance." The air in the room begins feeling melancholy.

All because Xehanort wanted that stupid χ-blade and start an apocalypse out of sheer curiosity!

"Agreed. Xehanort's a complete and utter monster." You then pause for a second. "And shut up, Vanitas. No one wants to hear your cranky ranting," you add.

Bite me.

"Haru, who are Ven and Vanitas?" Riku asks. He still seems a bit wary of you, and you look around awkwardly.

"I kinda don't wanna answer that now. Still kinda afraid you might not trust me," you answer.

"Touché," he comments. "To be perfectly honest, I'll fully trust you if you find Sora's location." Figures. And you look at the scarf. You're still in Sora's clothes, and it feels really damn tacky!

Because of that, you turn to Merlin. "Thanks to both of you," you say, smiling. "But before I go, can you magic up some new clothes?" Merlin rolls his eyes, before pointing your wand at your clothes.

There's another flash, and now you seem to be in Roxas' Twilight Town clothes, with an unzipped blue hoodie. Well, you probably won't wear the hoodie in Agrabah, that's for sure.

"Just saying," you add. "Maleficent's spies are in town. You should be wary." After all, with how much you've derailed the plot already, there's no telling what she'll do. And what about a way to protect Jasmine after your success with Alice? You make a mental note to check on Alice on the way to Agrabah, too.

However, you know that Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, and Belle have already been captured. That also means Castle of Dreams, Dwarf Woodlands, Enchanted Dominion, and Beast's Castle have been consumed by the darkness, just like the islands. At least you stopped Deep Jungle from being consumed. The storm when you fought Clayton felt so much like the one on the island.

It's probably why back in Dive to the Heart, all four of their murals depicted them with their eyes closed. You conclude that the mural with the three hearts must represent Alice, Jasmine, and Kairi. Next, you ask Merlin: "Any spells I can learn?" Sadly, he shakes his head. "C'mon, Riku," you tell the silver-haired teenager. You summon the Kingdom Key in case of Heartless or Maleficent's spies.

You take him across the bridge and back to the Third District, where Donald is tapping his foot. He then turns to you and his eyes go wide. "What're you doing with Sora's Keyblade?!" he quacks, pulling out his staff... but it looks different, now topped with a star surrounded by a ring.

"Donald, it's me!" you counter. "But you can call me Haru now."

"Likely story. Let's get him, Goofy!" Goofy also has a new shield. It's star-shaped, too.

"Uh, Donald?" Goofy says. "I think this Haru feller is Sora. Since he's the only one who can wield the Keyblade." You sigh in relief and immediately thank the dog. Donald stops. Then he facewings and grumbles to himself. "Gawrsh, how'd ya get like that, Sora- I mean, Haru?"

"I felt uncomfortable having Sora's face," you say to him. "So I got a masking spell. Permanent, though, and do you like it? Anyway, this is Sora's friend, Ri-"

A huge raven-like Heartless suddenly appears over the Second District, scanning the area. And it's holding Alice in its claws!

The doors to the First District suddenly swing open as Yuffie enters the plaza. She looks frantic, but she turns to Donald. "Cid's installing your navigational gummis now, but there's a bigger problem!" She turns to you, and sees the Keyblade. "Sora-"

"Haru," you correct her.

"Haru, you saw the Heartless, right?" You nod. "I'll forgive you for trolling me if you help!" Phew. You quickly introduce Riku to her, then she throws a gem to you as you begin running towards the door to the Second District. "Squall stopped by Merlin's a bit before you got here, and was gonna give you this, but the Heartless showed up and he had me do it. He said that the Fairy Godmother told him it contains a spirit of some kind." You take the gem.

"Sorry for freaking you out!" you apologize as you keep running.

"I do like it!" Goofy shouts in the background.

Learned new summon: Simba

You practically throw open the doors and run in front of the Gizmo Shop, directly parallel to the fountain where the Keyhole was. Squall runs up besides you, Riku, Donald, Goofy, and Yuffie. "You like my new look?" you quickly ask as you look towards the sky.

"Sure, let's just defeat this Heartless!" Squall yells. The bird Heartless screeches again, still holding Alice. It descends to the square.

It looks like a giant blue raven with a Heartless emblem on its chest and a golden helmet, along with the ends of its wings being steel. Rather plain, to be honest. It's about the size of Stealth Sneak.

"Here it comes!" Donald quacks, and all of you draw your weapons.

Alice's Kidnapper
RAVENOUS RAVEN

[] Write-in battle strategy

One of my few original Heartless (mainly using canon ones), and your first battle not as Not!Sora, but Haru.

Ravenous Raven has replaced Opposite Armor due to two things: You sealed the Keyhole during the first Traverse Town visit, and Quest!Guard Armor had some of Opposite Armor's moves.

Traverse Town: Ravenous Raven (Part 1)
[x] Visualize a circle of binding energy holding your foe in place.(IE bind) as you jump towards it so when the spell hits you'll be near.
[x] While the heartless is bound rush over and try to grab Alice.
[x] Toss her over to Goofy than leap onto its back and begin stabbing the closest wing
.

The Heartless screeches and divebombs the six of you, scraping its armored wings across the plaza. You all manage to dodge, but the Heartless does a U-turn, going back towards you. It knocks Yuffie and Donald on their backs, and you turn to the bird.

It's starting to flap its wings, and the wind begins picking up. You however run towards one of the benches and jump in front of the doors to the hotel. The Heartless turns its head towards you like an owl, and you think to yourself that you probably have the mental prowess to cast this, compared to something like Mega Flare....

You form the mental image of a circle of immobilizing energy holding the bird in place. It's rather straining at first, but you make it clear enough to channel it into the Keyblade. "Bind!" you shout, and a circle of energy appears around the bird, leaving it unable to move.

Afterwards, you jump back down into the plaza and run at the Heartless to attack its legs, until it lets go of Alice. You sigh in relief, and toss the girl to Goofy. Next, you leap onto its back while it's still bound, and begin stabbing its left wing. The Heartless screeches, and takes to the sky. You hang on as much as you can while attacking the wing, until it lands on the roof of the Gizmo Shop.

You run to the alcove the bell's in, and the bird Heartless continues looking for you. The armor's fallen off its left wing.

Traverse Town: Ravenous Raven (Part 2)
[x] Use Thunder and Blizzard on the leftwing. Render it unable to fly!

You jump out from the alcove and cast Thunder. You watch as a lightning bolt strikes the bird Heartless right in the left wing, and it screeches. Next, you cast Blizzard on its wing, and the Heartless screeches even louder. Heartless appear below in the plaza.

Afterwards, you attack the bird wildly, as it looks like it can't fly now. It caws now, before somehow summoning a twister that goes across the rooftop. You're hit, and crash into one of the three pillars with the bell engraved on it, and feel something wet on the back of your head. Getting up, you cast Cure, and the injured spot goes numb while it heals, allowing you to battle.

Feathers appear, and they fly at you. You probably can parry this, and so you do. The feathers go towards the Heartless' head, and you notice a fracture on the helmet.

The bird screeches, and walks towards you until it caws again, attempting to impale you on its beak. You Dodge Roll out of the way, and the beak slams into the ground. It's stuck, and it seems confused why you aren't a corpse on the end of its beak.

Using the opportunity, you attack the Heartless' helmet, until it breaks, revealing a crest that reminds you of a pteranodon's. The Heartless pulls itself out of the ground, and it jumps, attempting to divebomb you.

As it tries to divebomb, a strong wind blows towards you. You prepare yourself...

Traverse Town: Ravenous Raven Defeated
[x] Dodge and Freeze Raid it from the side! Try to trick it into ramming itself on a wall or something.

The bird Heartless divebombs you, and you proceed to Dodge Roll out of the way. It scrapes its talons across the rooftop, and you imbue a Strike Raid with Blizzard. The Blizzard Raid hits the Heartless on the side, who is immediately provoked in response.

The Heartless stomps over to you, squawking before trying to stab you with its beak. You do another Dodge Roll, and it once again gets itself stuck. Now, you jump in the air and attack the bird's crest.

It bursts out of the ground, and you follow up with a Sonic Blade that knocks the bird off the rooftop. Looking down, you watch it fall until midair, it vanishes as a heart floats up.

You climb down from the Gizmo Shop's roof to see Donald, Goofy, Riku, Squall, and Yuffie in combat with many Heartless, and Alice is still unconscious. Squall slices a Hammer Frame apart, while Riku tears through many Armored Knights.

The others are fighting Heartless until the monsters stop moving. They part, as if respecting someone's entrance. And then they appear. Neoshadows.

"Shit, this is a distraction!" you yell, before you smell smoke. All of you turn around to see a wall of green flames separating you all from Alice. The others continue fighting the Neoshadows. And behind the fire is a horned feminine figure, in long black robes.

Oh no.

"So this is a Replica?" she muses. "Intriguing."

Maleficent.
