Welcome to my Candy Store! (Willy Wonka Management Quest.)

I don't think we have the space
Opening a new store is 100 Wealth, and the rate we are selling means it's a drop in the bucket. We can make the space. Plus, as I said, they're stuck living in a land where they are prey and are eating green caterpillars.
Also, I suspect having them will make any attempt to steal from Wonka go very poorly for the thieves. The thought of Oompa-Loompas singing as they drag the spy out to the police is rather entertaining.

[X] Plan: In Search Of

At this rate we could keep on spamming opening stores and gain so much money we dont even know what to do with it.
Cause Im starting to think we are playing microsoft excel. This quest is fun but so far there not much challenges, then again this is a candy making quest.

Here are the results, and... huh. That's a first.

Adhoc vote count started by Yite on Nov 12, 2021 at 8:32 PM, finished with 20 posts and 16 votes.

  • [X] Plan: In Search Of
    -[X] Candace Godiva.
-[X] Ask them about them as a person.
-[X] Loompa Land, filled with thick jungles, desolate wastes, and the most horrid beasts in the world, Hornsnozzlers, Snozwangers, and... Whangdoodles.
[X] Plan All Aboard The Magic School Bus
    -[X] Joe Bucket.
-[X] Write-in: For one so old as he, he has must have had many a life experience. Politely inquire about it, for you're a good employer, and interested in those who you work with.
-[X] The Bermuda Triangle is a mysterious place, where all whom enter vanish... rumors say that it's a gateway to a new world, full of untasted flavors. You were interested in looking into these rumors.

It's a tie, next vote is the tie-breaker.

[X] Plan All Aboard The Magic School Bus

Edit:
To be honest; I'm not really a fan of either of these plans because I want to focus more on upgrading & expanding the candy shop.
We have way too much money right now and should be spending it on shop investments and giving our employees raises.
Our employees really do deserve significant raises after all their hard work went into raising the candy shop's economic standing.

We have a bunch of candies to research already so why search for more right now?
Also; in the event that we rescue the Oompa-Loompas from their deadly homeland do we even have a place to house them?

Just voting to break the tie.
Here's hoping the candy gacha gives us a much coveted SSR.

Just to be frank, on a buisness level I agree with you completely, and I support sending more wealth in order to get more stores, employees, advertisments, all of those things and whatever. I just wanted to keep playing into what I've been asking for since Day 2, and go on a trip (which I didn't expect people to vote for).

But I mean, the money's still going to be there when we get back, so I wouldn't worry terribly over it. We'll still be back in time for the store's anniversary after all.

Is there an option though that we can choose? Can't remember any.

We made 500 revenue last turn with 25 upkeep, the upkeep has been effectively static the whole quest and there hasn't really been any high upkeep options.

We also broke 1000 wealth last turn, there has to be an option that costs that much.

26- The Journey Begins, with... Finding a Mode of Transportation. Huh.

You had gone up to Joe Bucket, as he was about to start his work for the day.

"Ah! Joe, hold up just a moment" You said, getting the elderly gentleman's attention.

"Yes, Mr. Wonka? Is something wrong?" Joe asked curiously.

"Oh, nothing like that. I was just wondering... you've had a lot of experience throughout your life, have you not? Was there anything interesting that happened? Maybe some stories from your youth?" You asked with a smile.

"Ah, I remember when I was a young lad... I used to be a rough boy, practically a bully... as you can see, I grew out of it. But there was one time in my teenage years, that I bit off a tad more than I could chew... I tried to pick on this big kid, Louis... and he didn't take too kindly to my constant teasing, and... well, he nearly knocked me out... I'll tell you, I took a good long look at my life from that point, and... decided that I didn't like the man I was, so... I changed my ways, and became the Joe you know now, Mr. Wonka" Joe said with a nostalgic smile.

"Oh, well... that's actually fascinating," You said, "Do you have any more stories?"

"Well, there was that one time I got into a car chase, and the time I got into a fistfight with ten police officers, I managed to take out seven of them before they got the cuffs on me... and then I took the remaining three on, managed to bloody one of the officers' eyes, but they got me just as good... I wasn't a very good young man, but it did give me a few good stories to tell" Joe said.

And so, you listened to Joe talk about his various stories for hours.

After that, you had gotten to selling all of your products, you hoped the Chilly Chocolate Creme's and Drinkable Giant Cola Bottles did well.

Wonka Bars Sales: 540.

Fudgemallow Delights Sales:
207.

Chilly Chocolate Cream Sales:
426.

Laffy Taffy Sales:
474.

Ice Mice Sales:
289.

Toothy Fruity Sales: 657.

Nerds Sales:
317.

Never-ending Gum Sales:
514.

Lightning Lemon Sales:
749.

Name Gummed Up In Committee Sales:
163.

Drinkable Giant Cola Bottle Sales:
637.

Well, the Fudgemallow Delights and Name Gummed Up In Committee's hadn't sold much, but... the Chilly Chocolate Creme's had decent sales, and the Drinkable Giant Cola Bottle's had seemed initially popular, so that was good! The Lightning Lemons, seemingly never sold badly... which was slightly odd to you.

You have gained 491 Wealth.

You have lost 24 Wealth from Joe Bucket's, Fred Morter's, Ruby Williams', Kelly Jones', Candace Godiva's, Heath York's, Henry Truffle's, and Karla Honey's Employment, and 1 Wealth from Advertisement. In Total: 25 Wealth.

You now have 1,686 Wealth.

You had managed to make a decent amount of money from it though, so that was good! Thank God for Joe, Ruby, and Karla!

And just before you left, Fred and Heath wanted to show off their latest research.

Which Candy do you want Fred Morter and Heath York to Research? (Choose two)

Once fully dissolved, it causes the body to work at peak condition for 24 hours, with the side effect of periodic exhaust fumes coming from the ears (harmless but smells of motor oil).

[] Cotton Clouds: For those who love fluffy foods, this special cotton candy is as light as a cloud, and moves like it too. From whispy winds to thunderstorms, this scrumptious sweet will make you feel like you're flying and bring a breeze, though careful of the occasional shocking surprise!

It seems more Wonka's speed to be rifing around in a personal boat. Especially after I remember the boat ride in the movie, how can I picture him in anything else? And the candy fits in nicely.
Ah, found it.
