Y'know, I can't help but imagine this as the backstory for a Mass Effect story where Wonka has had over a hundred years to innovate and expand, and sets up a branch on the Citadel. And all the humans are puzzled by how every other race reacts to the candies, especially whatever Wonka makes using eezo.

lighting lemon? why not call them lemon live-wires since it in a rope form, kinda like a wire?

Ramble's Name Gummed Up In Committee.
Candy Idea: Name Gummed Up In Committee
A minty Gum or Taffy that sticks to dental plaque and pulls it away. A blatant attempt to make dad hate us less maybe. Doesn't replace a toothbrush or floss, but effectiveness per attempt is really secondary to consistency anyway.

Lol , I'm looking at all of this basically-magic candy, and it makes me laugh imagining an alternate quest where Wonka's forced to produce stimulants for the military.

Voting has ended, and here are the results. I'm gonna try to get the next update of the One Piece Quest out, before working on this tomorrow.

21- Holy shit, those rolls.

Fred had shown you his latest creation, the Lightning Lemons, they were lemon-flavored licorice and pop-rock strips, that were supposed to give whoever ate it the ability to generate small electrical shocks, nothing bad enough to hurt anyone... but it could power an electrical device. And you trusted what Fred told you.

Lightning Lemons Research Roll: 97.

The Lightning Lemons had come out shockingly splendid, they were definitely a fun candy to eat, even if they were a tad too sour for your tastes... but the small static shocks you could create were just wonderful! You loved it.

After that, Kelly had made more candy, and restocked the shelves. Bless that woman, she helped out so much, even with her having just been relatively recently employed.

Wonka Bars, Laffy Taffy, Ice Mice, Toothie Fruities, Nerds, Never-ending Gum, and Lightning Lemons have been restocked by Kelly Jones. (400/400. For more Storage, upgrade the building)

After that, you decided to upgrade the building once again.

How do you want to upgrade the building?

[] Upgrade Storage (400 > 800. Costs: 10 Wealth.)
[] Upgrade your Research Station (+10 to Candy Research)
[] Upgrade the front of the store. (+10 to Sales)
[] Upgrade your candy-making tools (+10 to Candy Creation)
[] Add a Second Floor to your building (+8 more Employee Space. Costs 20 Wealth.)
[] Write-in (Write-in a custom choice):

Afterward, you decided that you were going to hire at least one new employee. You definitely had the room, that's for sure.

After a little while, four people had come in, and they all looked at least, relatively good.

103: The first person to show up, was a lightly tanned woman with black hair tied into a bun, named Candace Godiva, a stern-looking woman, with a secret love for all things candy, you saw her practically drool at your confectionaries, she seemed like she'd make for a great assistant, or second in command.

65: The second person to show up was an average-looking man named Henry Truffle, he seemed like a good, honest man... but didn't seem too unique other than those two traits.

102: The third person was a burly man with brown hair and a great big, bushy beard, named Heath York, he told you that he was a budding candy researcher over at one of your rival companies, but was fired for not being able to figure out how the Wonka Bars were made. But, he then told you that... he knew exactly how they were made, but didn't feel right stealing the recipe of a fellow hard-working candy maker, and wanted to work for you, as in his words you were... "A genius beyond our time, in terms of candy-making"

88: And finally, was a dark-skinned woman with bright orange, dyed hair named Karla Honey, she seemed like the tomboyish sort, and looked to be a good saleswoman, which seemed good.

Now, you had to figure out who to hire, and how many you would... you certainly had the room for them all.

Who do you hire to work at Wonka's Candies?
[] Hire one of them.
-[] Candace Godiva.
-[] Henry Truffle.
-[] Heath York.
-[] Karla Honey.
[] Hire two of them.
-[] Candace Godiva.
-[] Henry Truffle.
-[] Heath York.
-[] Karla Honey.
[] Hire three of them.
-[] Candace Godiva.
-[] Henry Truffle.
-[] Heath York.
-[] Karla Honey.
[] Hire all four of them.
[] Don't pick any of them.

Holy shit, those rolls were pretty damn good.

And just like that, I'm finally finished with the update! Woohoo! Off to bed for me.

Please use a Plan Format.

[X] Hire three of them.
-[X] Candace Godiva.
-[X] Heath York.
-[X] Karla Honey.

Well now we can afford to be a bit more picky considering the rolls we received this round. Let's just hire the PA/2iC, the researcher, and the salesperson.

[X] Plan: The More the Merrier
-[X] Upgrade Storage (400 > 800. Costs: 10 Wealth.)
-[X] Hire four of them.
--[X] Candace Godiva.
--[X] Heath York.
--[X] Henry Truffle
--[X] Karla Honey.

Did I structure that right?

I would like to do double upgrade next turn, store front and researching tools.(i think we'll need to get the production tools soon also).

[X] Plan: The More the Merrier
Wow. Awesome rolls. I'm thinking that Candace Godiva might be good at running a second store when we get to that point.

102: The third person was a burly man with brown hair and a great big, bushy beard, named Heath York, he told you that he was a budding candy researcher over at one of your rival companies, but was fired for not being able to figure out how the Wonka Bars were made. So we got a genius that not only figured out the Wonka bar, but also let himself get fired by not telling them how the candy was made, which was his assignment. So he could go and get hired to work behind the fellow genius...
Definitely someone we want.
