I want to do a deconstruction of the genre. an almost parody of the hero of destiny herem trope. As I was thinking the protagonist wouldn't be the 'chosen one' in the Sense of fighting the overlord. But more in the sense that he would literally meet/captured by the overlord early on and teach her what ' Nakama' is. Of corse becoming a love interest to our protagonist

I also wanted the 'good guys' heros be total Gary/Mary Stues/sues.

Edit: But well I don't want to add to much to fast now do I

Honestly people Necrys is a cliched name for a lich infact when I was gming in a homebrewed game session last week the name of my main antagonist was something very similar it was Necrus a necromancer who gained lichdom at the end of the game he died the most ridicoulous death in my time gming wich involved grease, bananas, frogs, a elven muscle wizard with a glorious sentient beard, a duck, lots of crit succes for the players, lots of nat failure for Necrus, a peasant named Tim and a duck

Necrus just change one letter and you got Necrys

Yes I know it sounds similar to Seraphina, but that could be intentional to confuse enemies/ attempted assasins.

I want total chaos, with Card playing Paladins facing off against our crystalline with a mustache.

The Overlord is the Anti-Hero the Dark is hoping to bribe into that role.

Come on guys let's have our protagonist Sakura Sato to be on the 'evil' guys side. And have him do the typical bland haram protagonist 'charms' that all anime women are strangely attracted to.

This is like our only chance to force shade into just writing pure fluffy cheesy haram tropes. Even better if we can somehow turn this into a high-school setting for no reason.

While an incompetant Hero could ruin the Light, An incompetant Anti-Hero leading the Dark to distruction would have to be a ruthless and powerful tyrant to keep the more ambitious of the Dark side from assassinating them or just simply ignoring them and forming their own group.
