A Beastwalker isn't just insect stuff, so you won't need to worry about that.

I am having Of the Mists flashbacks when it comes to the Beastwalker trait and it is epic. We just need to get a legion of giant crabs and an even bigger giant crab.

Also if possible I want our group to end up with an Asian aesthetic style.

You guys are certainly primitive enough to get whatever aesthetic you want. Although Taijin is currently rocking the Imperial China look. Gonna call the vote in ~eight hours, give or take.

Pretty sure the idea of an insect queen has been done hundreds of times before and didn't start with Worm (whatever Worm is).

I'll admit I stole the name from a story about a literal insect queen, which itself stole it from Egyptian mythology. I don't think that should bar us from raising an army of giant ants to subjugate the surface dwellers.

Fair enough; my apologies for jumping on you. I've just seen way too many character generation segments recently become "Oh, we have magic powers? Let's be X from the Nasuverse/Currently Popular Anime #6/Prototype," instead of coming up with something at least semi-original.

Also, I guess apologies (to everyone) for the indirect Worm spoiler? I spend most of my time here in that fandom, so I occasionally forget that not everyone is familiar with it.

Still voting for my own proposal, on the grounds that living in a vast network of complex underground tunnels and caverns in the Super Jungle From Hell and not commanding a horde of giant ants would be a travesty.

Sure. Bit disappointed that Blacksmith didn't win, as I feel it could have given us some good stuff. Like actualy technology...
 
eh, the appearance stuff is more to get an idea of what the MC looks like.
