On a Bus to Ivalice
"Oh?" the bartender said, raising an eyebrow at you. "Not one for the tales of the leaders of the Northern and Southern Skies? Although the Papers explain much, a day by day process of the war it is not. Who is it that you are looking for, pray tell?"
You hesitated for a moment. You wouldn't say it out loud, but you had already known that the history told of the War of the Lions was a carefully crafted story because the story passed by your family was completely different. You grandfather had always extolled the adventures of your ancestor, and once you had heard of the Durai Papers, you couldn't help but see them for yourself; to see if there was any mention of that person.
So instead, you spun a tale of the person you were looking for to the bartender. That person was born:

[x] a healer. Not one to harm others, they dedicate themselves on the betterment of all.
[x] a leader. Not one to follow others, but to strive ahead and have others follow.

For your weapon, do note that this is a FFT and RWBY crossover, so your weapon is pretty much limited by your imagination. Although I would have a hard time explaining how a book can transform into a gun, if you so desire, I will try my best. ^_^;
