*Shrug* I like it more then canon Worm but my main interest in the Parahumans series is fanfic and there is not much of that for Ward.

I think the large fandom difference between Ward and Worm lies in the tone. Worm can be read as a straight up power fantasy (which SV&SB largely broker to), I'd say Ward is closer to Pact in the sense of "nightmareish descent" which also didn't find it's fans around here.

Speaking just for me, yeah I can't say I like Ward as much as Worm, or even that much at all.

For my money, Ward was strangled in the crib by the uninteresting and convoluted glow worm prequel ""mystery."" I also personally wasn't that impressed with Victoria as a protagonist.

Honestly I've kind of given up on Ward ever being worth it but figure I might as well read the rest of it once it's finished. I've already read like a million plus words of it what's a few hundred thousand more?
