Alliance it is then. People aren't really talking much, so there's not much point to hold it up much more if everyone's not discussing anything.

Amusingly, I think human's are actually not that common when people get a choice.
Either way, I want to play as one - we're the most numerous, which means this is the highest chance to get the most positive interaction with others, this is not even mentioning the diplomacy bonus (I might be biased but, come on, Log Horizon had tons of interaction, want to get some of that fun happening here!).

Also, Spirit seems like it'd be the natural one for Light focus, and I'd LOVE to get to do something with that.

Engineering bonus is great and helps us get the powerful Goblin engineering or devious gnomish engineering sooner.
The escape racial is always handy and mana based classes are suited for gnomes.

Mage/Warlock ftw!

Gnome because of engineering bonuses.

Female because of pink pigtails.

At least, that was why I considered it...

I remember there being a pink-haired gnome rogue who dressed like a ninja, but that can't be it. I honestly don't know, but it's behind Dwarf and Human, I think? ... well, why are so many voting for human male? :p
Diplomacy bonus, spirit bonus (which can potentially get us talking to naaru), they're the most widespread so even more chance to get interactions going with NPCs (and I for one would love to start up some sort of guild that could be encouraged to bring NPCs in as well, which makes that diplo bonus even more important).

Can we aim for a Female Paladin? No notable non-player female paladins in WoW... We must make one

Ah, I'm sorry, but a spirit bonus will not directly lead to some sort of trans-Twisting Nether communication with the Naaru.

Isn't there a Naaru hanging out?
... Where? This is pre-Burning Crusade, they will be far and hidden away. But the thing is, even if there is, the attribute Spirit is mechanically only a measure for increase of mana and health regeneration. I'm going to ask you to not assume that attributes and bonuses do more than they say they do. If in doubt, please ask.

Jemnite: I just don't feel it's very productive to vote for something I barely have any knowledge of
Eclair: then
Eclair: like
Eclair: ask in the thread
Eclair: so that I can answer
Eclair: please.
Eclair: don't even need to vote, but ask and you will be informed, don't ask and you'll be stuck where you are
OK Fishy. Uuuuuh, questions.

What is Naaru? What's the difference between an Ironforge dwarf and a non-Ironforge dwarf? Why are gnomes discriminated against? It is just a NPC thing or does it extend to players, too? What can a Wisp do? Can you revive as a Wisp? Can you revive at all in this game?
