It will make sense as you go on. It's like learning Pokémon types and weaknesses. It seems hard than you realize you just need to look at a chart for 5 min to understand it.

Oh and I'm not sure about nicknames. Never been good with them.

"Hey there, the name is Tamrin me and you will be partners. Hopefully we will get along! Today I figured I'd get the lay out of the town. Would you care to join me? or is the town a bit too busy for your taste?

(I'd like to know if the nidoran would care to walk with us as we go about the day. so we can make general assessments on its temperaments and any like or dislike we can observe by going through the town. And seeing what draws its attention)

"Okay! so I have an idea for a training method to help nidoran work on his poison point ability and his future poison type moves. I'm not sure if the game will allow this but it's worth the risk! maybe we can even get a feat if we manage this!"

I'd like to buy two Pecha Berries worth 4 pokecoins all together

"I was thinking that because of this berries ability to get rid of poison under a certain level if I have nidoran focus on forcing his poison into the fruit eventually the poison will start to evolve to become more potent to try and actually affect said fruit"

"If that doesn't work the other method is to slowly feed nidoran a portion of a pecha berry so the poison in his body is forced to adapt and become stronger. I'm not sure how good this will be for nidorans health though so I need to talk to the nurse about this being a viable method. I don't want to cause him injury after all"

second [x] Ask the nurse to explain how to heal a Pokémon.(Cost 1 action)

As a blooming trainer it is important we actually know how to heal our partners in the case of injury plus if the A.i is advanced enough perhaps we can ask about the nidoran species as a whole and some of the mainstream ways others train it. A nurse may focus on healing injuries but they must know the basics of most pokemon anatomy and care. so this is a great chance! Plus we are using poison types. It's probably important we learn how to apply these things now. and of course there is the question of if feeding a pecha berry is safe for my poison type.

"okay Nidoran I noticed you're just a tad slower than the average Mon but don't worry! We will work on getting you up to standard speeds so you start with a proper baseline in all areas! After this we can figure out the best training method that we both think is most effective for you. might even do a bit of specialized training in the future if we can figure things out!"

I will allow the walking yes. Also the berry idea about improving poison seems like a great idea.
