Voyagerquest: The Everlasting Flight from boredom!(Umineko/???)

[X]Her younger sister

[X]Towards the Nasuverse.
"Athanasia drifted out of the realm of mortals, and into the realm of folktales and myth." That's pretty much what is required to become a Heroic Spirit. It's also likely to be a medium or medium-high toxin board, which allows us some influence without giving us free reign. That will be good if we don't want to upend the entire thing by accident.

Alternatively:
[X]Downwards(Madoka Magica)
It's an interesting board to play on, and the magic toxin is low enough for us to intervene more directly. Messing around on a high toxin board could become a little boring.
NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE
No nasuverse till we can destroy the universe with a wink, do you know just how many fucking things are there that can permakill us/Make us their chew toy for all of eternity and beyond?!
i like fuckin with the incubators tough....
I think by Black Battler RAG was referring to the Umineko fan theory of it all being Battler. Black Battler is dressed in Black and is the Culprit. He shows up in one of the Umineko Fighting games with a 'story' line, as a nod to the popular theory.

To espouse more about my S;G idea, it helps with all our interests. Difficulty -> Time Machine Building, And THE ORGANIZATION are both difficult things to deal with. Not to mention us talking to HOUOUIN KYOUMA will cause all sorts of interesting shenanigans. Then there's RAIL NET for our Game Interest, and music will probably be involved at some point. (It might just be ring tones though).

And of course us mostly speaking via phone fits well with how you made choices in the VN.
Steins Gate works too, you tought it was your delusions Okarin but it was i Di-cough-Athanasia!
On a side note i feel pity for black battler(his theme song is awesome tough)

Not a big fan of Steins Gate, but I haven't finished it yet. In the defense of Nasu, it's pretty safe if we stay in Fate territory. Only Angra Mainyu is a permakill threat, really. Just say away from Dead Ancestors...and Aristotles...and some Magi...okay, maybe not THAT safe. On the other hand, we're pretty powerful if it's a low magic toxin territory.

I'm great with Madoka though. Incubators are fun to mess with, and we Voyagers can theoretically create universes. I dare say we can invert entropy if it amuses us.

I wonder if we could get Madoka and Homura off the Board? They've both ascended to near-deity status on in certain fragments.

Remember the Shikis? and the Types? im pretty sure Zelretch has been invited to quite a few witch games too, and freaking Aoko.....

We've had a lot of PMMM which is why I kinda would like to see some S;G, because there's like no good fanfics or quests for it.

... And because I really enjoyed Otabe's and Krisu's shenanigans together. Easily one of the best parts of S;G.

But hey with Umineko involved, whatever wins, promises to be interesting.

Im sure Blade would let us come back to another verse after we are done dealing with this one, the objective is to stave off boredom after all....

Forgot Shikis...yeah, okay. The Types are the Aristotles I mentioned. Aoko...okay, yeah. You got me there, too. Zeltretch is basically just a Voyager though. Kinda surprised he isn't here, actually.

Thing is, there are less than 7 of the above on Earth, and we stand a chance against some of them. As you say, however, I'm sure we won't stay in one Verse the whole time. Starting somewhere a bit easier might not be a bad idea.

Nasuverse is doable.

I'm pretty sure we can out BS them - somewhat, but, if we allow ourselves to get ganked from the get go we are doing something horribly wrong, remember always, use ze pawns.

Ah yes basic amateur mistake, always focusing on the queen or the knights and leaving the pawn

[X] Stein's Gate.

Thanks to Higure, whose signature led me here.

Using Hinton's precedent, I suggest that we call "Athanasia's life" the game, the theater of Witches controlling Athanaisa the ana-game, and the game that Athanasia plays the kata-game. I think it'd be clearer than starting with "game" and going up to the "metametagame".

So, if we unmask, then we can make a piece in the "game," correct? Which of "the delusion/memory of her little sister", "an interfering witch", and "someone else in the kata-game" are valid pieces? (Obviously an interfering witch could create a kata-piece in the kata-game.)

OOC: If you unmask, you can do ana-game things besides voting and talking amongst yourselves, assuming I understand you correctly. Assuming by the kata-game Athanasia is playing, you mean whichever board/fragment she happens to be visiting at the time, that makes sense to me. Athanasia could adapt a memory or work out an arrangement with somebody else in the kata-game to have a piece in the kata-game. When you ask which are valid pieces, I'm confused as to which game you're referring to.

My pleasure. Glad to have you here.

So, if I understand you correctly, you're saying:

ana-game: Where we Voyagers are playing.

game: Athanasia's "metaworld."

kata-game: Individual boards that Athanasia plays on.

So, you want to know if we create pieces on the "game" board or the "kata-game" board, and if those pieces can take the forms of illusions/delusions, witches, and/or other players in the "game" (who in turn have pieces in the kata-game)? Is that correct?

Essentially, yes. I'm asking if we-the-players can have pieces in the game or kata-game, not Athanasia.

OOC: My first reaction to that is to call it the equivalent of rushing the stage and outsourcing the issue to my totally not Rifle specced Charr Engineer security team. You have a piece in the game and that piece is Athanasia. Then I think about it further. Lambdadelta was the GM in part 5. But Bern was playing on Battler's behalf, and created Furudo Erika in addition to playing Battler during the time she was playing the human side. So I'm going to say yes, but any such proposals must be approved by me. In short, if you try writing a stunt, I will not discount it out of hand for the presence of original characters, though I have no idea if this line of thought qualifies as a non-sequitur or not.

[x] Her sister

[x] Madoka Magica

I'll fully admit that it's because I desperately want to see a crossover between these two, possibly post-Rebellion too.

OOC: Ok, so I ran the tallybot and have some room to think right now. Looks like 3 votes for Madoka Magica and 2 votes for Steins Gate are the leaders here.

Lacking the mental framework to establish her own gravity, Athanasia set herself drifting downwards, eventually finding herself caught in a riptide of benevolence. When she came to, she was at the gates of a castle defying every known rule of material science. It resembled solidified cloud, and emanated an inexplicable pink glow from no single location. The gates were open, and no armed guards appeared to assail you. A tall, pink haired girl in white emerged from the keep.

"Would you like to come inside for tea? You aren't a magical girl, but even if you are a Voyager, we'll still hear what you have to say," She tells you.

Seeing no alternative, you follow her inside, seeing a blonde with hair resembling drill like curls fall in line with you. Before you reach the stairs of the keep, you see a feisty looking redhead and a girl with blue hair eating cake together at a nearby table.

Eventually though, you reach the tea room. The blonde pours cups for everybody and sits down with you. After having a sip of the tea, you feel more at peace then you have in a long time.

"You don't act like Lambdadelta. It's hard to believe you're a Voyager too."

You hear a hint of distaste with her mention of the name.

[x]Voyager?
[x]Lambdadelta?
[x]What is this place?
[x]Write in?

[X] All of the above. Confusion is rampant, after all.

...Lambdadelta and Madokami drinking tea together...that's a scary image.

[X]Isn't there supposed to be another one? Black, long hair, time traveling abilities, mildly creepy stalker tendencies and lots of guns?

What about the image of The God Emperor Of Mankind and Madokami drinking tea together?

...not as scary, actually. The Emperor (and the Chaos Gods) are kinda chumps compared to Lambda, considering she's a multiversal traveler who considers the creation and destruction of universes to be viable weapons in battle. She or Bern could one-shot the 40k universe on a whim...yet Madokami's Wish to "Destroy all Witches with my own Hands" might theoretically give her a fighting chance (depending on whether or not Lambdadelta is considered a Witch by the Wish).
