[X] Tell Armsmaster the superpowers of the Undersiders
-[X] Tell him that Bitch acts on a wolf mindset due to powers.

Fair enough. Armsmaster can work with this information. He could do better with their life stories too, though.

Please check my prevoius post. Us voting on Sky telling Armsmaster the powers of the Undersiders has no effect because Sky could only tell Armsmaster what SHE knows. If we want to tell Armsmaster more we need to include it in the voting.

Previus post:
That is a good write in!

[Y] Tell Armsmaster the superpowers of the Undersiders
-[Y] Tell him that Bitch acts on a wolf mindset due to powers.

Maybe change it to:
-[] Tell him that Bitch acts on a wolf mindset due her power overwriting her human interaction processes with it completly.

Edit:
The write in can not work!

Skye does not know them and thereby can not tell. We need to include them in the write-in.

[X] Tell Armsmaster the superpowers of the Undersiders
-[X] Bitch has a thinker power that lets her perfectly understand dog/wolf bodylanguage through her power overwriting her human processes with it completly. This mean she does not understand human bodylanguage because she can not turn it off and tries to read it like dog/wolf bodylanguage.
-[X] Her minions are dogs and her power gives them massive biological power armor. They are still piloted by the dogs.
-[X] Armsmaster has mostly figured out Grues power already. It is a "gas" that he can creates and dismiss but is disturbable like some sort of heavy gas.
-[X] Regent can use his power as a Blaster to fire neurons in other creatures out of order to create spasms.
-[X] Regent can use his power as a Master to take complete control over a body (including parahuman powers). This takes hours of concentrated effort that is plainly visible and noticable by the one it is used on and needs close proximity (less than a few meter). Once the control is etablished he has miles of range (with dimishing cohersion on distance and number of controled bodies). The controled remains consciousness during this. Once power is etablished over body it does not dimish and can always be activated if in range. Masteraspect is a learned ability by mapping his own nervous system to the controled and might be reversable by unlearning or blocking the knowledge of it.
-[X] Overuse of Regents power disable his own nervous system temporary with the blaster effect beeing more draining.
-[X] Tattletale is a very broad and powerfull thinker. She can use it as (limited) combat procognition, coldreading of bodylanguage up to including used and in use passworts, coldreading of passworts from the input devise, near precongnition of actions and reactions of known organisations and persons (and the stock market) and near postcongnition for everything as well.
-[X] Tattletale can use her power actively only 2 to 4 hours a week. Trained to use it in short burst of few seconds.
-[X] Overuse of Tattletale power on one subject without intermediate fact checking creates false, unwanted and/or meaningless results.
-[X] Tattletales power needs information to act on. Without prior knowledge she needs to overuse her power.

Makes me happy to see voters invested in the story! :D I'll tally later today and see about an update this weekend.

(Been busy with the fic. The first chapter of that is in the ideas thread, if anyone's curious. See signature. ^^)

Hey, just checking, if we say to tell Armsmaster their powers, will we know their powers to tell to him? Or will it just be telling him things Skye already knows, not mystic-voodoo how-does-she-know-this stuff?

She'd be able to tell him the broad strokes, more than she herself knows. Spirit of the vote and all that. Roughly what you'd expect the average reader to remember from canon.

If you want Skye to know specifics that were given to us in WoG, or things that were mentioned maybe once in the entire serial, those should be in the write-in. :)

I REALLY want to back it but @Portec
This section is grossly misleading. Tattletale's power is constantly active. Intensive leaps of logic or processing large amounts of data is limited, but she gets a constant feed of your emotions, the veracity of your words and more.
She literally cannot turn it off, and it includes things like inferring your arousal level from your eye motions.

As such:

-[X] Tattletale's Thinker power is always active on the information she acquires via her senses, generating a surface level assessment of emotions and probable thoughts from moment to moment, as well as a first order analysis of all available information. She can boost her maximum capacity to make more in depth analysis, acquire information which should not be directly inferred from immediate clues, or handle very large amounts of information, actively only 2 to 4 hours a week. Trained to use it in short burst of few seconds.
-[X] Overuse of Tattletale power on one subject without intermediate fact checking creates false, unwanted and/or meaningless results.
-[X] Tattletales power needs information to act on. Without prior knowledge she needs to overuse her power. False information will give her false conclusions, but it must be presented in a way where her passive power cannot identify a deception.

Vote closed! There were a lot of votes for multiple options, which made the tally a mess, and unfairly skewed depending on how I adjusted. I'll just incorporate bits of all the top votes instead. Self-study, Skye's online business, and Tattletale's affairs.

Two write-ins got a fair few votes: informing Armsmaster about the Undersiders' powers, and attempting an epic quest for the Undersiders' money justice. Those will probably happen.

Thanks for sticking around even as my update rate slows to a crawl ;(. I'm trying to get better at juggling projects, but it's slow going.

Status
Hey everyone: quick update on the state of things.

I had bit of a burn-out a few months ago due to various factors (work, future, the usual). Cut the internet out of my life to preserve energy, caught up on other obligations, resumed my long-neglected original fiction, got my headspace back from gloom to manageably weird. Eventually decided there were still things to learn by writing a little more Worm, and I wasn't comfortable just disappearing. So I'm back to online writing.

That said, the fic takes precedence. It lets me explore things I can't in a quest format, and I really want to add 'finishing a story' to my experience. I do intend to resume Voracity eventually, perhaps through updates with fewer but bigger choices, but I'll be completely honest and admit I don't know when. It's entirely possible I'll quit fanfic to focus on original fiction before that point.

Just thought I owed you all an explanation. Sorry for disappearing, sorry this isn't a continuation announcement, and thanks to everyone for their interest and investment in this quest. Here's a snippet I already had written for the next update. I'll be happy if it makes a few people smile.

=============

Personalizing your office at the PHQ is proving difficult. You're holding a kickass clipping of the Brockton Bay Bulletin, Protectorate captures Undersiders after Ruby Dreams casino heist, and you can't figure out a way to pin it to the wall with your power. Armsmaster once called powers hammers and problems nails, and hammers and nails sure sound like the right tools for the job. Apparently not? Baffling.

You curl a tentacle around your chin and stare at the wall. This would be easier if you had some thumbtacks. And also thumbs.

But anyway, your office is great. It's large enough you can stretch and only just reach every corner. There's a desk, some chairs, a sleeping bag, and some other cabinets and shelf units. Most of those last things are still empty – existential hazard of being your own storage space – but Biscuit has its own flower pot for when it isn't riding your wing, and Hunch's octoplush oversees the room from a shelf up high. Souvenirs from friends. It's a good start.

Behind you, the door handle clicks as it turns. Visitor! They should really knock. You could be naked in here, and are. Actually, that's your hero outfit. You're not sure if that makes it professional though.

"Cuddles?" Assault walks into the room, masked, though in plainclothes below the neck. "What're you in my office for?"

What? "Hey, no. This is my office. Opposite to Triumph's, Miss Militia said so."

He snorts. "You believed that? Come on, be reasonable. This building has limited space. Your stomach has infinite space, and you live across the city. Why would they give you an office here?"

You can't deny he has a point from a purely practical perspective, and he doesn't sound like he's lying… but he's trying to steal your office! You're sure of it. "You're not just messing with me so you can have two offices?"

"What would I need two offices for? Hiding from work?"

"I was wondering about the sleeping bag." Eight tentacles curve around the desk to point at where it's hidden.

"Necessary equipment," he shrugs. "Crisis situations can confine us to base, and I'm contractually obligated to get at least six hours of sleep. Any less gives me dreadful skin." He smiles widely, with those perfect teeth every hero seems to have. "They recruited me for my smile, see? Would be tragic if I went and broke my probation like that."

You narrow your eyes at him. Threateningly. "I'm going to find whatever the heck kind of regulation document can tell me you're lying and use it to check if you're lying."

He waves you off. "You won't."

Probably true. "And tell Armsmaster everything you just told me."

"You... wouldn't."

Wouldn't you? Well, you guess not. You're no tattletale, because you're not what you eat. That would get real complicated real quick.

Dejected, you float out of the office, then fly in the direction of Armsmaster's office. It's time for your appointment with him anyway. Assault chases you for some reason. Truly, the man's an enigma sometimes.

You know folks are going to ask where we can find your original fiction.
That said, the fic takes precedence. It lets me explore things I can't in a quest format, and I really want to add 'finishing a story' to my experience. It's OK, even if this does go dead. For its short lifespan, Voracity's quickly made itself a well-known piece among the resurgence of comedy in the Worm fanfic community. Sky's never going away. She'll always be in our squidy hearts.

Sorry, the original fiction is staying offline till I'm happy with it. :p It's not exactly in readable shape. I'm probably going to have to rewrite it entirely to incorporate ideas I've had while neglecting it.
