Sorry I some how missed this. Currently you can only radio brodcast, so any contact with outside factions like the other vaults need to be done through the contact vote.

Shawn crafted and sent out the message. Trying to get into contact with the nearby vault. After this message several interesting things happened.
First the Purifiers radio station lit up as the chanting was replaced by rhetoric of the evils of the old world. The other notable thing with another broadcast this one obviously in response to yours. Although not from vault 78, you got a response that was the following. "Vault 45 this is the grand Admiral of The Fleets. While your message was not directed at us we will use this opportunity to introduce ourselves to our new neighbors that have revealed themselves, you. We are the fleet, we mean you no harm, we mean you no threat. We live off the Great Lakes, but we also move up and down them from Niagara up to Huron, and trade with the few settlements we find in the area. If you would like to open trade please respond." That was the response to the message, you probably were heard by 78 but they lacked the capacity to respond.

Turns Left: 1
Using an existing template system that you should have thought about the first time, you can now tell what radio stations are actually Broadcasting. It's the same system used by vault tec's PipBoys. Now the trouble comes in, in sorting the various broadcast and finding out when one of them is sending something useful.

[X]Scouts
Turns Left: 1
Apparently in America there was an organization for young boys that would teach them Wilderness survival. Mar hopes to use this as a template to create a organization to help and still children with not only some useful skills but the attitude required to survive in the Wasteland and be a productive member of society. His time was spent coming up with a lot of possible things to do, but he still needs to find someone else to run it. Because he doesn't want to dedicate too much of his time to something that would prevent him from assisting you.

[X]Robots for Every Occasion
On the other remote-controlled claw, you are the greatest designer of robots there ever was. Not actually but using some information from the encyclopedia random, you were able to figure out several jobs that you may need in the future, or that you currently need, and what kind of robot you would need to fit there. What you thought would take a whole year, only took half of one. And most of that time was spent refining your designs with one of the engineers.

It turns out that the younger lizards are capable of camouflaging themselves this is made hunting them down a bit more difficult than you expected. However you're still killing them at a decent rate. And Hess found one of the major egg locations, so hopefully it won't take long to kill the rest off.

[X]Patrol the Vault [Monarch]
One of the most quiet Patrol to the Vault you have. There was the incident with the worms, but your integration into the hidden vault's mechanisms allow you to close the door before more than one of them got in. And your ability to quickly get Mister Gutsies down there allowed you to kill it before it caused any harm.

[X]Biological Testing [Hopkins]
Hopkins is unique at least. In only half a year, she and a group of other biologists come up with a lot of different projects. Though most of those projects aren't really possible to do at this point they; because require resources, and space you don't have. However when you do have the space and resources to dedicate to these biological pursuits, you will have a lot more ideas available. Hopkins did sort through the various plans and has left a list of ones that can be done with the resources and space available.

Unlike most animals the mutated crayfish seem to have a complex language. While further testing is required to see the breath of their intelligence through this language. You do know they are able to convey ideas through it alone. One of the experiments done, has you catch a cray claw how to acquire a chunk of food behind a mechanism. You then put the cray claw in a room with another crack off without the mechanism and then after sometime put the cray claw that hasn't been taught how to use the mechanism in the room with the mechanism without any teaching required the cray Claw is able to open the mechanism and acquire the food. Of course you only did this test 10 times. So you do have a problem with the size of your data pool, it does show that the crayfish are very intelligent. On their language and the exact meaning of any of the many clicks whistles and gestures is hard to pin down. But with the new knowledge of their intelligence you can hopefully figure out how to decode their language.

With the database from the hidden vault Faron is able to make a much more comprehensive jump into creating the list most of her time was spent organizing the population into various rankings depending on many different traits skills and psychological profiles. She's come up with the people who may be a threat to Vault but the list requires more work before it is comprehensive.

[X]The Cult 2
In a little over 3 years a religion has grown from nothing to almost 200 people. According to Daryl this is a very fast rate of growth for a religion and does resemble a cult of personality. Although it seems that the cult uses your personality and tries to a send you to a god-like view in their eyes.

Events
Worms
It seems that the scientist exiting through the lower door or something else has attracted what the earlier radio broadcast, and zombies described as worms only if you were able to get into the Vault proper. But it does mean that any Expedition into the lower caves is now at a very great risk as there is a hostile and very violent species of worms infesting the flooded cave system.

A Brave New World Turn 4
Even with the worm problem the vault is progressing at a good pace.
