Unnatural Forces; a Necromancy Quest

[X] Plan: Magnitudinous
-[X] Nigredo [1/15] --> [2/15]
-[X] Damnable Weather [1/5] --> [5/5]
-[X] Electric Lights [0/5] --> [5/5]
-[X] Victor: The Da Marini Problem
-[X] Clerval: It Can Think

[X] Plan Hunting
-[X] Electric Minds (5/5)
-[X] Unerring Hunters (3/3)
-[X] Nigredo (3/15)
-[X] Victor: The Da Marini Problem
-[X] Clerval: The Da Marini Problem

I want Unerring Hunters because I think it can help us hunt Da Marini. Then Electric Minds because it's an upgrade based on phantoms and so Da Marini is less likely to be able make use of it. Also 2 Mag to Nigredo because we can finish it next turn if we get our stolen Mag back.

I think we should put both humans on the necromancer problem. For magnitude placement I think we should focus on things other than getting more magnitude, I think more control would be good, people are scared of what they can't control.

I thought about that but I was worried that increasing the ability of all necromancers to control the undead might work against us with the rogue necromancer, on account of they have an experience advantage only held back by unfamiliarity with our undead. Making them easier to control might actually shift the balance out of our favor.

However, of the current plans, I like:

[X] Plan: Magnitudinous

the best

... Hrm.

Okay, here's what I have in mind.

[X] Plan: Make an Example of Her
-[X] Nigredo (1 -> 3)
-[X] Unerring Hunters (3)
-[X] Thunderous Command (5)
-[X][VICTOR] The Da Marini Problem
-[X][CLERVAL] It Can Think

So, what's the core of this plan?

Revenants

Revenants can pick up Ominous thanks to Unerring Hunters, which makes them fantastic trackers. Thunderous Command lets us coordinate them into a dragnet by giving Scheming to Zombies and Revenants (Which is the Coordination skill), and Revenants already have Inspired, which makes them able to Solve Problems. Plus, this bitch made a lot of dead that we can very happily avenge with their help.

Victor's our Necromancer Prime, and the one with the greatest understanding of how this works, Clerval is our Good Boi who can continue to help figure out Subject One's whole business, because we really want to avoid a redux of Frankenstein if we can, you know?

[X] Plan: Make an Example of Her

Consolidating behind this plan, since it's very similar to my plan

[X] Plan: Make an Example of Her

Don't have mindspace for complex planning and I'm feeling vengeful towards that bastard besmirching the good name of necromantic science.

It's not even good necromantic science!

"Lol this doesn't resemble what I know, clearly this is because everyone else is Wrong and let me try to crowbar it back into the shape I know, through force if need be."

Like the insistence on treating it like a plague when it's carried entirely by electricity.

I think that they're mostly blindsided by the form of necromancy they know the most about being disease-based.
