Eh, mine was just doing her part as a member of Judgement. And it was less 'invite into home' and more 'go see a doctor', honestly. The fact she can chuck a vending machine kinda removes the potential threat I pose, too.

Gonna cut you off there. Sorry, but we've already got a bunch of diary planned our, so no more are going to be accepted. Ones which grant powers you don't need to look at the diary to see, definitely not.

If we did use that power, it'd likely be changed to a video stream playing every thirty minutes or so, showing what's happening about the holder for a minute. Like the death vids of Devil Survivor characters.

That's. Umm, a nice thought.
I'll admit the phrasing is cheesy, but I am kinda cheesy when it comes to being dramatic. :p

Lewis abused the fact that he was able to never majorly screw up the conversation by checking his Diary, letting him basically hit Nat 20's on every social roll. Might poke him and point out that needs to be made clearer though.

Wouldn't the person he's talking to notice he's staring at his phone the whole time?

I suppose it makes sense to be cheesy when it comes to being dramatic. Their kind of almost in an awkward way the same thing after all. I see. That's.... That's not clear at all. I suppose I can accept that though. For now.

Same difference. But like I said, I kind of like yours. It wasn't a major issue anyway, just wanted to point it out.

Lewis's SI has a one minute update rate, so a check every 60 seconds roughly. Or less if he was just using it to check reactions to jokes and the like.
And I guess the Diary itself would point out when someone was going to be offended by his constant checking.

No, if the effect failed then that's good to know, and I thank you for the feedback. I'll have a look at it tonight and see if I can change it to fit better.
 
Oh hey, forgot about this fic.

...Now, I'm thinking about what diary I would have if I was in this situation.

Knowing myself, either a photo diary (literally just pictures a minute or two into the future) or an editing diary, where I get corrected copies of everyone else's diaries.

Eh, we're doing it so we all update at once. And seeing as I have exams till next Friday and only a paragraph done for ch3 so far? Expect it to take a few weeks. I'm terrible at timeframe sticking, so in my case it's just gonna be 'when I finish it'.

Besides which, seeing as events from one of us would be mentioned in another's chapter, I gotta make sure to match them in timeframe and such. Like the building fire, or a crazy guy leaping off a highway into a river.
