The Lies I was told about here
1. He claimed Jeff stole music from the 2014 Godzilla film
2. He claimed Velvet had a larger roll and that it was cut to give more screen time to Jaune.

Yeah, maybe you should watch the thing yourself because someone well, they're being... let's call it uncharitable.

By strange coincidence, I think this episode is the one right after the last one I watched before losing interest. So I guess I'm up to speed. :V

Finally, and this last think isn't so much a lie as it is just assuming something and not doing the Research: He claimed Jaune is a self insert for Miles Luna. Which is not really possible, as Miles did not create the character, did not cast the character, and does not write the character's scenes

Think what you want. Far as I'm concerned the Show's only gotten better with time, but I ain't gonna start a fight about in here.

EDIT:

...have you ever actually gone inside a RWBY fan thread? RWBY fans are like Star Wars fans, they spend all their time arguing. Actual positive feelings towards RWBY are an oasis in a desert

If you're going to accuse Hbomberguy of lying or not doing his research, heh, well.

Good luck with that.

These are just random JRPG backstory cliche incoherently stitched together.

I could go on AI Dungeon and produce a more original and thematically coherent backstory than any of this in three hours or less.

Well Leila if your doing RWBY again please make it through JoJo's part 3 because part 4 whilst not perfect is so much better, tho not as good as part 5 which is perfect in every way.

But part 5 is really good tho
I'm gonna be honest, that really doesn't matter. Unless your prepared to fork over cash to commission, continuing to talk about how you think Leila should review this or that or the other thing unprompted is just kinda more than slightly rude, especially when it's something she already bounced off.

It really doesn't matter whether you're right or not, this isn't the thread for it given Leila is, you know, reviewing by commission right now and hey, raising the idea isn't like some horrible crime but people have already pointed out that if you want it you should commission it and really that should just be the end of the topic here. There are other threads to talk about what seasons of jojo you think are best and worst and what have you, this ain't it.

No part of JoJo is actually that good, you only think it is because of the memes, which are admittedly pretty glorious overall.

Don't try to convince me otherwise, you know I'm right. :V

There is no such thing as "something good." There are only various shades of bad.

At the end of the day, we can all agree that Jojo is at least a bit less bad than RWBY, and that's what really matters.

1. They're miscategorizing him, he just noticed the similarities. Furthermore, IIRC Hbomberguy explicitly said that they didn't steal it and it just sounds similar.
2. They're lying about him, he didn't claim that Velvet lost screentime because of Jaune. He pointed out that they focused on Jaune at the expense of the actual plot.

Edit: (I went back and re-watched the video and #2 is highly disingenuous. He was speculating about why Velvet's team had no major presence in the story despite their role in the climax, speculating that Jaune's tumor of a storyline played a role isn't dishonesty it's just a logical understanding of how screentime works)

Edit Edit: Furthermore, he speculated that Velvet had a larger role because of how much focus RT gave her in their behind the scenes content. Which might be incorrect but calling it dishonest is an abuse of the phrase, he was clearly speculating.

1. Fair play
2. I mean, The reason Velvet got attention was because she was popular with the fans in the first season, so they decided to give her a big scene in the second. You'd think doing months of research would allow someone to figure that out. Like, I'm not saying it's good writing, but there isn't really a mystery there.

The thing he pointed out though was she didn't have a big scene in the second season. She had 14 seconds of screen time, some dialogue aimed at her in the climax that implied they'd been meaning to have her show up a lot more in the volume than she did, and literally nothing else. With her big scene only happening in season 3. Which lead to him speculating that the reason they couldn't do the build up was because they instead spent time on the love triangle and the prom.

Though that being said, I'm not sure how much more Leila wants us talking about someone else's review in her review thread.

Speaking of commissions, you think its possible to commission a let's play.
Cause I would pay to get Leila to play BioShock if I get the funds to pay for it :)
