To the Stars (A Megaman ZX and Mass Effect AU Crossover)

There really should be a "Terrified face" reaction...
The laugh reaction works good for that imo.

There's nothing to be terrified of! It'll be fiiiinnnneeee

Word of Note: Consider carefully the introduction. And everything it could mean. Megaman ZX Takes Place in 24XX. Also keep that in mind *giggling*

Edit: An Internet Cookie and Confirmation for Everyone if someone guesses it correctly~

[X] "We're being deployed to secure a Prothean Ruin that the GRS Jervis found. It's the most intact ruin we've found so far, thus, we're not moving a flotilla there till we've secured the ground. Raider Presence was detected in a nearby system, hence the stealth."

If we assume the years are still in line then Humanity is about 200~300 years late.

Humanities probably doing better than expected as well? Sounds like things are still wobbling, but on the up for humanity at large. And with agelessness in effect that population boom would be stupidly exponential. And biometal manufacturing looks to be at a steady pace? Not sure what makes a Cyberelf able to be encased or not.

Sovereign might be mucking about, but with how grandoise and stupid they are I can't imagine he's an unknown. I'd be a little surprised if he wasn't dead tbh, Reapers are arrogant little dumbasses at the end of the day, just have a fuck ton of firepower.

Still, the damage could have been done already.

Asari have their telepathic diplomancy, which means the cultures might be more tightly bound by this point.

Why are the Batarians still a thing? They're also idiots and anyone with basic math skills should be able to tell how many lives they've cost all the other Council races. If nothing else I really can't see the Salarians or... the military ones putting up with that for another few hundred years. Some admiral and/or politician would do the number crunching eventually if nothing else.

There's also the Reaper tech laying around... the Geth might have still split, but its hard to tell what either side might have ended up doing, they're very patient.

Krogans might be extinct by now.

Batarians may or may not resemble Batarians. The council does seem to like Diplomatic Victories, after all.

Krogans... I'm not sure what I'll do with them yet, and, thankfully, have time to figure that out.

With the Reapers gone and no upstart humans to frustrate them in the Attican Traverse, the Asari might have talked them down. Either that, or they became a pariah state like the Quarians.

I wonder if the Quarians would be interested in the consciousness transfer technology that the MM ZX series has.

Having re-read the intro, I remembered that the Reapers are functionally dead: the Prothiens somehow beat them.

That leaves several possible threats I can think of: the Catalyst AI (if it wasn't destroyed,) the Geth under the command of a surviving Reaper, and the Leviathans.

Plus Model W. Because Weil was and always shall be a jerk like that.

Two Hundred Years Have Passed. The key to timelessness is discovered by Ciel, who finally comes out of hiding after the deaths of the Sage Trinity in a climactic final battle. A Democratic Government, the first of its kind since the great calamity all those years ago is formed, and the first Planetary Body outside of Earth is colonized.

While terraforming Mars, a group of scientists discover the Ancient Prothean Ruins held within, and immediately begin analyzing them, discovering a previously unknown element, which they dub: "Element Zero". The Element rockets the technology of the Guardian Republic forwards, and they quickly begin to expand, settling several Garden Worlds in short order, the Mass Relays leading them to the worlds that were suitable for colonization with surprising coincidence.

Yet another hundred years pass. The Guardian Republic has stood tall through this time, becoming the haven that their forefathers had imagined so long ago, a place where Humanity and Robots lived in true harmony. Man was, by this time, almost certainly part machine, while machine was also part man.

More like a Council Sponsored Coup. Quarians are actually no longer a Pariah State. The reason why will be revealed in due time.

As for the Geth, well, they've had 600 years to muck around. You may be surprised by how far the Citadel Council has come, as well~

As for Model W... Well, W Kun has plans. Lets just say that.

Edit: You're missing a few threats from ME:A, but yeah, that's most of what I can really throw at the questors without a "HAHA THE COUNCIL IS ACTUALLY EVIL"

I mean, doesn't Andromeda take place in an entirely separate galaxy?
300~ years.

Not sure what threats exist there myself as well anyway.

Also we literally yeet what amounts to Demi-Servants at our enemies, but we'll see I guess.

I'm kinda wondering what ME races got up to, cause Mass Effect technology, or at least what was left behind by the Reapers, was purposefully made a dead-end tech.

Not that that doesn't make them potentially dangerous, molten particle stream cannon that we use in ME2 comes to mind.

... Wonder what happened to the Rachni? They might not have gotten fucked by Reaper tech come to think of it. Or they might have still if it was a piece of junk lying around that got them.

I misunderstood: I thought it was currently 24XX, not that 24XX was ZX.

Not that that changes my understanding: I have only the vaguest understanding of ME:A.

Pathfinder time, let's found our new friends.

Given how the timelines work here I'm really interested to see how different the Citadel may be.

Edit: Oh I'm dumb and missed that the vote was already called.

I am still working on this. Muse is currently focused on other things, but I'll come back to this tonight

My Friend, the Vote is closed ATM. Currently working on the Update

Status Update:

I have been working on this. Recently, the muse has been hyperfocusing on Pokemon, and no matter how much I feed her, it's been impossible to focus on this or Friend of the Chosen. I still intend to continue both, and will post again on both when I have the next update ready!
