To The Beginning IC:ג

Okay, quick plan: Push up with Air Magic. If this knocks the beast off balance, use the time to get away from it, fly up and throw fireballs. If not, just make a fireball and blow it up.

If that doesn't work? Just try and hold it here until a Servant/Master arrives to kill it.

Okay, go time.
It responds by hugging tighter, enveloping you entirely. You feel your bones strain and crack, as you desperately struggle to get it off with air magic.

You manage to throw the burning and screaming pile of eldritch from yourself, and then proceed with lighting it on fire again, ranged edition this time.

Then police finally snaps out of it, and they start shooting at the monster. A few seconds later, combined with your efforts, it seems to be enough to finally kill it.

Then another monsters bursts out of the hourse, it's tentacles bloodied. Third one is nowhere to be seen.

Okay, for now just observe. No need to go in like a suicidal idiot, just examine the situation, deduct a logical explaination and then proceed for interaction. Save strength for Assassin, do not engage other hostile threats unless there is no other method of escape. Okay, now-

"...I sense Darkness..."

'Oh, you're awake! And you finally decided to come out and talk, huh? Great, I'd like some-'

Before I could say another word, my body moved on its own, pulling the Keyblade from the earth and brandished it at a random direction. And fired a salvo of Fira bolts, creating a massive explosion and sending debris everywhere. My body swung its free arm and fired a salvo of Thudara bolts, creating more havoc and causing even more destruction. Fires started and trees were set ablaze as my body continued to attack.

'What the hell are you doing?! Stop it!'

"A Heart tainted with Darkness roams this city... I must destroy it..."

'A tainted Heart? Evil? But there aren't any-'

Caster. Fuck, I'm too late. He's already been summoned. '

Shit, calm down man! You're destroying the park! Don't draw attention to us yet, its still too soon!'

"The sooner the tainted Heart is destroyed, the sooner you may continue with your mission..."

'Yeah, I can't do that if you're attracting unwanted attention to us! Stop it, damn you! Stop and think!'

"No."

'Fucking stupid piece of living tinfoil! Fine, you want to play the hard way, I'll play it the hard way!'

I forcefully took control of the Keyblade wielding arm, stopping it mid-swing. I extended my will and kept one leg from moving. Sentiment wants to hunt caster? I agree one hundred percent. But doing it like this? No way.

"You will not stop me..."

'Fuck you!'

"This is my body. I have the final say."

'Not for long!'

You quickly find yourself in a some sort of a urban area. Aside from a few half-finished buildings here and there, nothing ruins an impression of a clean and sterile modern night city.

You manage to find a bus stop and a map nearly;
http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111010011339/typemoon/images/a/a8/Fuyuki.png

I tried to commit the map to memory, or at least the basic layout of the city. I'd have to take to the air again to really get a feel for the city, but I had a feeling that flying might attract more unwelcome attention here than back home. Wait a minute, did I just refer to Earth-616 as home? I guess the personality bleed over is stronger than I thought it'd be.

You could see some kind of a 24/7 store in the distance, but you also find yourself to be penniless at the moment.
That could prove a problem. Note to self: If I beat someone up, make sure to confiscate their wallet. As it was, I'd probably need to eat at some point in the future and it would be nice to be able to simply buy food.

A few minutes after your appearance, a loud sound of explosion reverbates through the area, somewhere from the direction of the park nearby.

Well, that seems like the sort of thing that someone such as myself should go check out. Readying my powers in case of a fight, I began to jog over to the area of the explosion. Whilst I stood out in my costume, I'd stand out a whole lot more if I started flying. Plus; flight seems like the kind of thing that would attract the wrong sort of attention in this time - so I'd stick to the ground until I had the lay of the land.

Then another monsters bursts out of the hourse, it's tentacles bloodied. Third one is nowhere to be seen.

Oh, for fucks sake.
Death.
I turn to the police. "Make sure everyone gets out of here!" I say, before flying above the second Shoggoth.
Fear.
This thing... The last one almost killed me. And even if I'm in a better position now...
Anger.
...This thing has killed. There was more people in there, and I doubt this thing would have let them get away.

I... I fucked up. I should have done things differently, been faster, gotten here before...
Hate.
...I can make up for this. All I have to do was kill this thing.

I ignite a fireball in my right hand, and gesture with my left. The Air pushes down on it, hopefully holding it in place.

I was going to kill it. I was going to make it burn.

I was going to kill it. I was going to make it burn.
Everybody who could run away, already run away. A one or two police members proceed to follow your advice, too, while other simply refuse your command and prepare to shoot horrible eldritch abomination to death again, just like they did a second before.

The monster roars, and jumps toward you; despite your best effort you managed to only slow it down, not stop it complitely.

Then, fire and bullets followed, and it was not enough. Beast dodged the worst of it, even though the fireball managed to ignite it anyway, and even if some policeman managed to get a hit in, low-caliber bullets didn't had much of effect.

Then it finally reaches you small group, and grabs one of the policeman what decided to stay, preparing to tear him apart. As beast tentacles envelop him, you hear his horrified screams.

As the monsters pulls the man before you apart, you continue to attack it; and another fireball seems to do the job, as it let's go of the man and and collapse lifelessly on the floor.

His comrades rush to check up on him, but it's too late; his throat was crushed.

A few seconds later, as nobody seems to jump out on you, people... point their guns at you.

"What the fuck was that? Who the fuck are you? What is going on?!"

...You're kidding me, right?
Hate.
I just helped them fight a monster... And they're threatening?
Anger.
What the fuck?

"You're welcome." I say, through gritted teeth. "I was unaware that aiming guns at someone was the proper way of thanking someone for helping them fight a monster. I will be sure to remember that."

I turn away from them. "Now, gentlemen, I'd love to give you answers , but I'm sure that you would prioritise searching the area for more of those monsters, in case another one has snuck up on us, or is getting away to kill civilians. I understand this, and I'm willing to wait until we search the area."

As I wait for their reply, I consider the dead police officer.

My fault.

I should've stopped the Shoggoth, gone down and held it down before it reached him.

Damn it... I fucked up. Again.

...You're kidding me, right?

Damn it... I fucked up. Again.
The officer what you were talking to didn't liked your answer very much. He just got attacked by a magical monster straight out of the horror films, seen it being roasted by honest-to-god magic, a lot of people just died and he has not a single idea what is going on anymore, beyond what you are involved somehow, and perhaps, even should be blamed.

"They appeared right after you started using your... magical bullshit, or whatever that was. No, I want answers, and I want them..."

Another horrifying scream in the distance cut his rant short. After a moment of hesitation, he lowers his weapon.

"Fuck this. If you didn't do this, then help us. We are going to try and pursue that thing. You try to run away - I will shot you. Is that clear?"

...They think I did this?
Leave them.
I could just leave. Their threats weren't threatening. The Façade may make me look alive, but I was still a skeleton.

But no. Innocents would die if I left. I've screwed up enough already.
No Innocents.
No, I should help them.

Spinning in mid-air, I turned towards where the scream had come from, and-
Leg.
Wait.

My leg. The Shoggoth had torn it off earlier.

Turning to it, I picked it up with Air Magic, and reattached it.

"Okay." I say. "Let's go kill a Shoggoth. Then we talk."

"Okay." I say. "Let's go kill a Shoggoth. Then we talk."
As you walk inside of the hourse you discover another terible picture every member of the police force inside is dead, their bodies torn apart and half-eaten.

One of the officers loses his lunch, right there. While continuing to empty the contents of his stomach he assures you what he is going to stay behind, and... watch so nothing happens here. Yeah.

Furturemore, you see what third monster escaped through the wall in the direction opposite to you.

As you pursue it across the streets with two officers left, you see many horryfing signs; the trail of destruction the monster wrecked leaves no doubts what it was trying to kill as many people as it could before you would manage to find it.

Then, at some point, you see magical signature of a moster fade, and then appear again, twice as strong. And again. And again. And...

As you finally reach the location of the monster, you hear a blood curling scream of frustration and rage, and see a unusual picture;

A mechanical-looking maiden with a strange mace is elegantly tearing and bashing abominations to death, only for them to rize again, and again, only in greater numbers. It seems, what this is going on for some time already, as there already dozens of abominations trying to kill her - a literal sea of monsters.

Then both she and monsters take a note of your small group.

I turn to the policemen.

"I think you should run." I say to them, dropping my Façade. It takes half a second for the illusionary skin to vanish, and then I continue. "They can't kill me. They can kill you. Run while you still can. If you want to know what is going on, go to the Church and as Kotomine Risei about the Holy Grail War."

Risei is a priest, so he probably won't kill them. Hypnotise them at worst, and that makes things more convenient.
Without waiting for them to respond, I look at the monsters.
Blood
I'll need to fight them to give the others time to get away. They'll rip me limb from limb if I charge in.
Pain.
Time to do something that'll hurt.
Kill.
I set myself on fire, then charge into the sea of beasts, throwing fireballs at the ones near the odd girl who is probably a Servant, if the fact that she can fight these things is any proof.

You hear another series of Explosions, and as you follow the sound, you eventually enter the local park.

And discover what, surprisingly, it is currently on fire.

Going deeper, you can see a man in armor and a strange sword launching fireballs everywhere randomly.

It seems he has some kind of a problem, as he seems to talk with himself and move in a strange, jerking movements.

There also... an albino girl in a strange clothes rushing toward the fire and what seems to be her elder sister with a truly big stone axe...sword...axe-sword in her hands following her.

You know, before this happened to me I would have thought that this was something utterly insane; something that could never happen. now, the scene in front of me seemed almost blasse; thanks to the bleedthrough. How many times had Carol simply wanted to take her cat to the vet but instead found a pair of T-rexes terrorising the population? The fact that the answer is higher than one is the best evidence for that.

Well, as someone who effectively had a great deal of experience in seeing random superhuman fights break out on an hourly basis, I made the only reasonable choice. I decided to sit back and wait, unless one of them started to threaten innocent civilians or looked like they were about to kill the other. That's just how these things work.

You wake up to an endless void.
"................................. What" ?
"Ah. You've arrived."
"Whats going on here "
A human figure walks into view.
Shit, ROB
Welcome. Now, I'm sure you're wondering why I've brought you here."
"No, i don't care; send me back home "
The image of a city ripples into existence.
"Due to a...situation, I am relocating you to here." It getsures at the city.
That city, it looks like Fuyuki
"However, I'm not a monster. I'm not going to just dump you there with nothing."
The city ripples out again.
"Firstly, I'm forging you into a new form. You'll need it to survive.
And just like that i became something other than a human
Secondly, I have an objective for you. Complete it, and I shall reward you with both knowledge and power."
As even the void starts to fade, the figure leans in and delivers a final message.
And with that, you wake.
So im in one of the Fate scenarios, damn it,. This is going to be a challenge.
Chief must destroy Kariya.
Destroy Kariya... wait fuck no, i dont want to destroy the one of the few decent people in the war. Damn it

'Stop it, bastard! You're making things worse!'

My body convulsed and spasmed as two being fought over one another for control. Fire and lightning fired from the Keyblade and from his left hand, setting everything within range ablaze and generally making more damage to the surroundings. I struggled and tried to assert my will over Sentiment's but every attempt was met with failure. I had the complete and functioning mind, one that gave purpose to my actions, thus making my will strong. Sentiment's mind was broken, fractured over the many year he had spent slumbering in the Keyblade Graveyard, but the overwhelming force of will that allowed him to remain in one piece and not fall into oblivion was still there and kicking back my attempts at a takeover.

'You gave up this body when you surrendered your memories of Xehanort and the Keyblade to me! Keyblades rarely ever follow the will of someone who isn't its Master, its only in your hand now because I'm in this body!'

"...Indeed, you are. And you are in my way..."

Something shifts in the dark space between our minds. A terrible and dangerous presence. I felt it move and surround me, tensing, preparing. I raised my mental defences and braced myself for whatever was coming.

"No longer."

Sentiment's will moves and strikes me, the pain indescribable. Again and again it hits, forcing me back lest my mind is broken under the assault. He was relentless, striking me with the cold fury of a man with nothing to lose. Eventually, the attack ceases and Sentiment drew back, and I realize the two things that had happened.

1) Sentiment tried to break my mind to retake the memories of the Keyblade and wield it again.
2) He was breaking my control over the body through sheer force of will.

Though he failed in the first objective, he had succeeded on the second. I no longer had control of the body.

I watched as Sentiment regained control of his body. Shaking off the cobwebs of our earlier struggle, he drew his, my, Keyblade and prepared himself to go after Caster. Well that was until he was interrupted by two people.

Ilya and, what hell, Ilya? There are two Ilyas? Why is one of them older and carrying Berserker's bigass sword-axe? Why was the younger one wearing a- sweet heavens, is that a Magical Girl outfit?! Oh God, she's the Ilya from Kaleid Liner, isn't she!

Sentiment stopped moving and turned around to face the two Ilyas, brandishing my Keyblade at them. He can't be serious!

'Sentiment, no! Don't do it! Stop! You'll only get us killed, you stupid piece of living tinfoil! Stop!'

But he didn't listen.

With a mental snarl, I begin worming my way back into controlling the body. He wants me to get serious? Fine. I'll get serious. Let's how he likes it when someone's bashing his mind into oblivion.

I rushed through the fire, Ruby's shield protecting me from the heat. I still had no idea what caused it, one moment we were headed towards the source of the crash and the next something had started lobbing fireballs and set the park ablaze, which will look terrible after the fires are put out.
I actually like the charred look.
So I had decided to use Ruby's shield to allow me and my new sister....Ruby's right we do need to figure out a name for her...anyway the shield had allowed us to charge right through the blaze and into the clearing where it stood....
Lingering Sentiment, why is that here?
It was some kind of armor holding a weird looking sword, kinda reminded me of a key for some reason. Taking a deep breath I spoke, my voice loud enough to be heard over the roar of the flames "who are you and what the hell are you doing!!" I asked it, I hope it's reasonable but I didn't count on it and had Ruby ready to throw up a directional shield just in case.

'Sentiment, please. For the love of God, do not engage! Retreat, take to the sky, stay away from them!'

But he ignored me and turned to address Ilya. "I am no-one. A empty shell who dwells on past mistakes. I am going to hunt a tainted Heart, and should you so interfere, you will suffer greatly."

'Oh, yeah, great! Antagonize the girls with magical spellcards, why don't you!? Sentiment, its two against one, I don't like our chances here. Just turn around and walk away.'

Naturally, he didn't listen.

I redouble my effort to regain control over the body.

Combat Unit JSN-117 "Jason"
Mark XXX Bolo

I awake 25000.8 seconds later to the sounds of explosions and flames, and detect an abnormal amount of heat signatures a good 200 meters in front of me. The sudden change in action stirs me awake, and upon full reactivation of my visual sensors I zoom in ahead of me to figure out what is the source of all of this sudden action.

As I do not wish to reveal my presence yet, I do not deploy any of my limited drones that I currently have on me. Rather, I decide to slowly approach the scene of apparent combat myself, in the hopes that I will be able to discreetly observe the fighting before I decide what to do. How a 17,000 ton Bolo could perform such an act is not a question I am confident in answering at all, or even have an answer for, but the situation demands I should try.

Slowly starting up my fusion drives and activating my tread systems I begin to do a rather slow, yet surprisingly not so noisy pace of 10 kilometers per hour. While I am far away enough that the shadows of the trees obscure any vision of me, they are far apart enough that I am able to avoid knocking any of them over, which continues to mask my advance. Setting my infinite repeater ion-bolt guns to armed status and loading my howitzers, I enter low combat alert status, in preparation for any possible attack I might face in the near future. I also load my point defense rail guns, but do not extend them nor set them to combat-ready status.

I approach the scene of the fighting ever closer, and then finally as the trees become less dense I stop and take a better look at just what exactly is going on. And what I do see leaves me dumbfounded. Looking at each individual in particular, there are several different individuals at the scene, all of which appear to be currently combating what I can only identify as unknown monsters that appear to be relentlessly launching themselves at the combatants, including one particularly curiously dressed female swinging some mace of sorts.

The scene is utterly bizarre, and I would outright wonder what I was witnessing were I not briefed on the situation I would be placed in. Identifying the combatants to be those I am likely to work with, and the tentacled monsters to be enemies, I finally make the decision to enter full combat reflex alert status and load my frontal rail guns, four of them in total, and one of my ion-bolt infinite repeaters, which takes 0.68 seconds. I could easily set seven of my other ion-bolt gatling infinite repeaters online as well, but I do not intend to reveal the full extent of my firepower just yet.

0.05 milliseconds later, I engage. I pour Railgun flechettes and charged ionic particle beams down upon the monsters, as I finally make my presence known to the others with my surprisingly not so robotic-like voice.

"This is Unit JSN-dash-one-one-seven of the Line, engaging hostiles!"

They hesitate for barely a second, before running away as fast as humanly possible. As you throw yourself into the battle, monsters recoil from your burning body, afraid and hesistant.

Then they get even more confused as you shower them with fireballs.

Meanwhile another combatant joins the fray...

With three of you, it wasn't a fight - it was a massacre. Minute later, only you three were left alive and standing, colleteral damage minimal besides burned remains of your enemies and awful smell of rotten and burned fish.

Can't be that hard. I mean how hard is it to kill one guy?

You find yourself staring at the dark, night sea, and the Moon shining above. It's fairly beautiful sign.

After furture investigations you discover what you seems to be located at some sort of harbor; not so far from you, you see a boy and girl arguing about somethings.

It's somewhat strange to see them at this hour in such a place.

I'm a bit curious about how I can smell, given that I have no nose. But then, I can talk without any talky stuff, so I'm going to focus on the more important mystery: Why is there a tank?

Frankenstein.
Frankenstein looks spooked? Am I spooking her, or is the tank?

...

And how do I know her name?

Bah, not really important. Right now, talky.

She nods and looks visibly more calm once you do so.

Then she point her free hand at the tank with a confused impression. Then at you. Then at the remains of the shoggoths. Then back at the tank. Then back at you... Until she just finally grasps her head with both hands as in pain and looks at you again.

It doesn't looks like she understands what is going on anymore. It looks like she wants to say something like"Explanation would be nice" but doesn't for some reason.

In the background, faint noise of flying insects could be heard.

Okay, so Frankie wants an explanation. And there's a buzzing sound.

Insects, maybe?
Paranoia
Wait.

Insects? In Fuyuki? Where Zouken lives?

Turn the Paranoia up to eleven, brain.
"I'll explain what I know." I say to Jackie. "But I would like us to get some privacy. Don't want someone overhearing us. Do you have anywhere where we can talk in private? With or without the tank, whatever you prefer."

Of course, if Frankie is Berserker, then Kariya is her Master, so Zouken would find out anyway. Hopefully, this is so AU that her Master is someone else. If not, though...

Well, I'll have to improvise. Maybe try and make an alliance with Kariya and Zouken, to eliminate Irisviel.

...Huh. That felt weird to think, for some reason.

Right. Well, I had been meaning to leave this little scrap to resolve itself but given that incredibly cliche villain line that armour-man just sprouted I think it's time that I intervened. Readying myself, I gathered my power in my arms and began to fire at the armoured figure, flying towards him at the same time. The beams of yellow-white-orange energy fired out from my outstretched hands as I tried to close in for hand to hand combat at supersonic speeds.

"I'll explain what I know." I say to Jackie. "But I would like us to get some privacy. Don't want someone overhearing us. Do you have anywhere where we can talk in private? With or without the tank, whatever you prefer."
She shakes her head negatively and rises her hands in vaguely placating gesture. It doesn't seems like she considers the insects to be a problem.

In fact, as the noise becames stronger, you think you can hear something like a... human speech? Sound is very garbled and somewhat faint, but you still can manage to recognize the words.

"Who are you and what do you want?"

'Fucking stupid- Contact, left flank!'

My warning came too late as multiple energy attacks land on Sentiment's, and my, body. Immense pain took hold of my sense and I struggled to remain conscious. Sentiment and I were blown back from the sheer force of the attacks and we both landed hard on the ground, skipping off thrice before sliding to stop.

I barely had time too register what happened when our attacker was in our faces, her fist moving.

"Haste."

With the utterance of that spell, Sentiment moved and dodged the first strike and retaliated with a powerful kick to the attacker's stomach.
While you are distracted by attacking Carol, Berserkuro starts rushing towards you with her axe-sword, yelling a battlecry.
