Fury.

A human figure walks into view.
"Welcome. Now, I'm sure you're wondering why I've brought you here."
Burn.
Let me guess. I died of a heart attack while playing Dark Souls. Fucking Blighttown.
Kill.
The image of a city ripples into existence.
"Due to a...situation, I am relocating you to here." It getsures at the city.
Fuyuki.
Wait, is that... Fuyuki? As in, from Fate/Zero?

"However, I'm not a monster. I'm not going to just dump you there with nothing."
Monster.
Wait, what are you doing?

The city ripples out again.
"Firstly, I'm forging you into a new form. You'll need it to survive.
Skulduggery Pleasant.
I quickly look at my new form. A skeleton in a suit.

...Wait, am I...
Lord Vile.
Secondly, I have an objective for you. Complete it, and I shall reward you with both knowledge and power."
As even the void starts to fade, the figure leans in and delivers a final message.
Return.
Well, what is it?

Mortifier must destroy Irisvel
Kill.
What!?! Kill... Oh man, Kiritsugu/Saber are going to slaughter me.
And with that, you wake.
I'll be waiting.
Okay... This all seems familiar. I'm in Fate/Zero.

Well, if I have to destroy Irisviel, I better get an excuse. And do some good, while I'm at it.
The Caster.
First things first. Find Uryuu, take him down, and if he hasn't already, summon Caster. Otherwise, steal Caster.
That way.
Problem is, I have no idea which way to go... Oh, fuck it.

I just pick a random direction and start walking. Not sure why, but it feels right.

You wake up to an endless void.
Oh boy, another realistic dream. This can only end well! Right? "...wha?"
"Ah. You've arrived."
"...who was dat?"
A human figure walks into view.
I look over. "Well, hello Mr. ROB-but-not-named-ROB."
"Welcome. Now, I'm sure you're wondering why I've brought you here."
"I am, as a matter of fact."
The image of a city ripples into existence.
The city... that's Fuyuki. Yep, I know where this one's going...
"Due to a...situation, I am relocating you to here." It getsures at the city.
I nod with a shake. "Yeah, I figured."
"However, I'm not a monster. I'm not going to just dump you there with nothing."
"Sounds about right off the script. You've got good memory, huh?"
The city ripples out again.
I look back at the man. "Right, how long until I go."
"Firstly, I'm forging you into a new form. You'll need it to survive.
The change is sudden, yet normal. "Well, I know I'm not the same anymore, but I'll look later. What's next?"
Secondly, I have an objective for you. Complete it, and I shall reward you with both knowledge and power."
"Makes sense. That all? Well, I'm not one to wait when not necessary. Let's go."
As even the void starts to fade, the figure leans in and delivers a final message.
"U-huh. What's the last thing I need to know?"
HK/AMCS must protet Waver until Rider falls.
"...oh come the freaking heck ON!!!"
And with that, you wake.
Combat Unit JSN-117 "Jason"
Mark XXX Bolo

Well, that was certainly not a unique form of being introduced. The fact that I remember this same thing happening before does get to me every once in a while. But, what's happened's happened. I give a quick look around myself, and find myself to be within a thick forest. Yet, I am able to see a small reflection through the lights that permeate it, and find that, to somehow both my surprise and lack of surprise simultaneously, I am unmistakably a Bolo. Looking at my database that I seem to figure has been here the whole time, I am able to determine that I am specifically a Mark XXX Bolo, activated in the summer of 3235 on Bolo Prime on the planet Luna, Concordiat of Man. My model apparently already served in combat to a point, against the Kezdai in one of the Fractal wars. From the archives, this Bolo was apparently relocated to under my sentience when it's log ended abruptly at the battle of New Sierra in April of 3283.
Well, the information was useful, but I am still effectively nowhere and must somehow carry out my objective as a rather large inconspicuous vehicle. I allocate 1.2085 seconds to conduct a full systems scan of myself, and find to my satisfaction that I am in optimal condition. However, I do notice a few odd extra lines of hard-programmed code, which indicates that my main and secondary armaments are set to auto-lock when pointed at any civilian or any location where civilians may come to harm. This is a possibly frustrating restriction, but one I must abide by, and admittedly one I would have agreed with.
Finding that I cannot move without bringing a terrible amount of attention to myself, I elect to merely stay still for now, shutting down all external lights to suggest I am not even active, much less sentient. I ready a drone to dispatch should non arrive, however, so that I would become able to see just what is happening within Fuyuki city itself.
I hope that I will not eventually draw too much attention to myself, though I compute a 96.94 percent chance that I will not able to achieve this rather wishful thinking for a goal. Perhaps it might be best to simply stay 'non-existent' in the minds of others until I can find an opportunity to act...

You wake up to an endless void.

I have feeling of palatable terror. rising through my body. The hell?

"Ah. You've arrived."

Fuck.

A human figure walks into view.

Is that. . . . Mr. Rodgers?! Why is he so pale? Is he a vampire? Oh god, oh god. . .

"Welcome. Now, I'm sure you're wondering why I've brought you here."

I don't want to know. Thank you.

The image of a city ripples into existence.

Do not care.

"Due to a...situation, I am relocating you to here." It getsures at the city.

Shit. Wait. . . I have money! You can have all my money!!

"However, I'm not a monster. I'm not going to just dump you there with nothing."

. . . . I don't like this.

The city ripples out again.

Again, with the holograms?

"Firstly, I'm forging you into a new form. You'll need it to survive.

Secondly, I have an objective for you. Complete it, and I shall reward you with both knowledge and power."

And with that, you wake.

. . . . .?!

My very first few moments were that of unkind agony ripping apart my now twistedly warped body, I felt, as if I was alit by searing hot flames, then chilled to bone by freezing wind and lashing ice, it was that kind of torturous feeling to be sure, and through this hell. I was remade into. . . I can't believe what I'm saying. But, Mordred. Nasuverse's Saber-clone Mordred. With her - his memories, hate and prowess. . . . .

"What the flying fuck is this?!"

My tone became lighter but no less violent. Worrying intensifies. But some fucking how, I accepted this, because there's nothing I can do about it now. I'm stuck - no, fixed, into this shape, this body. I'm also stuck in Fuyuki and I really want to rip Saber limb from limb. Fucking imbecilic bastard. . . I won't you love me?! Wait - what the hell did I just say?

Oh shi- I am motherfucking Fuyuki. Fourth or Fifth? Oh for love god be the Fifth and not motherfuck of all clusterfucks, the Fourth! I'm not ready for this! I WILL MASSACRE ALL OPPOSITION WITH MY MIGHT - I'm so fucked, fucked, fucked, fucked, and fucked. Why do I have a feeling I keep on saying impossible bullshit?! The dark force is with you! Use planes! Yeah!! What. . . .?! No, fucking what?! I think I'm hearing shit. . . . .

This is getting too spooky for me. But I have to kill Saber - Astralize. Then kill saber and find a suitable meat puppet master for delicious, needed prana. Things may go swimmingly with planes. With that note, I quickly astralized. I can't stop, now, and I must not lose or falter - or else death from blade, magic, or worse.

Or course. . . I forgot about other the key players, like, Gilgamesh who. . . I'll eat alive, Zouken - happiness worms, son!, And the highly murderous yaoi couple: Caster and Ryuunosuke, fuck those guys. . . with a rake? Anyway I need to find a Master. Somehow who's capable and not a little shit.

Who fits the bill. . .?

Murderhobo must destroy Assassin.

Oh boy. . .

Can't be that hard. I mean how hard is it to kill one guy?

Okay. Calm down, buddy, calm down. No need to cause a scene, just take deep breaths and think.

I've been ROBbed.
According to him, I've also been changed into someone, or something, else so that I don't die so easily.
I have the task of protecting someone from someone else, and that someone happens to be a Heroic Spirit with a knack for recruiting people into his army for world conquest.
I've been ROBbed.
I have to do battle with historic heroes from ancient times whilst keeping my ward safe from harm while trying to find a way to take control of the body I've been stuffed into.
I've been ROBbed.

Yep, that seems about right. So who's the unfortunate victim stuck here with me?

Metal groans and bends, scrapes and stretches, falls and shatters

"Illya!! Wake up Illya!!"

My eyes flutter open to see the familiar shape of Ruby floating above me "Arrghh what happened Ruby"

"No idea." the wand said with a shrug. So Ruby was clueless to, the last thing I remembered was going to sleep in my bed and now i'm, after a quick look, on the roof of my school.

"We'd better get home Rub-"
Sinsystems must protect Saber until AMCS falls.

I was cut off by the words suddenly screaming themselves in my head. My shock must have shown because Ruby was looking extremely worried.

"Illya what's wrong!" She said the panic quite evident in her voice.

"I-I don't know Ruby..." was all I could say as info flooded into my mind. Images of mom and dad fighting, along with a woman who looked eerily similar to the ...thing I found when we collected the Saber class card. "...but I don't think we're in our world anymore" ... how did I know that? "I-i think we should get moving....find somewhere to stay" I said looking over the city that was so familiar....yet seemed so different.

Those word's 'Protect Saber' echoing in my head along with images of Mom....and for some reason I had the feeling that this wasn't going to me easy.

"Aqua… Ven…"

Two names, spoken with love and devotion. And remorse.

"Keyblade…"

An object, a weapon, addressed to with awe and respect.

"Xehanort…"

A monster, whispered with such hate, anger and malice that the air quivers in fear.

It was a cycle that repeated itself so many times, like a broken record stuck on a set of notes. It was sad, it was repetitive…

It was boring.

I've been stuck here for the last hour or so, and already I can't stand it. It's maddening to just keep listening to someone speaking all but four words every ten seconds. It's even more maddening when you realize that you're a part of said person. Literally. I'm in his head, his mind, and the only thing I could find in here is-

"Aqua… Ven…"
"Keyblade…"
"Xehanort…"

In that order, repeated every ten seconds.

I pity the poor guy. He's been trapped in here, in his suit of armor, for God knows how many years without any sort of sensory stimuli. Combine that with being constantly assaulted by his regrets, and his mind slowly began to erode. Even after so many years of hell, the poor soul trapped in this suit of armor still held on, still remembers these four things, as everything else fades away. Aside from these four names, the memories they carried and the feelings they represented, there wasn't much of anything else in his mind.

…I wouldn't wish this kind of torture on anyone.

I couldn't let him suffer anymore. I'm not that cruel.

Slowly, I ease my mind into his, absorbing the small remnants that were left into mine. The memories and feelings of Xehanort, the sheer anger and hatred for that one man was staggering, and the awe and respect of the Keyblade, that would allow me to wield it and its powers, were given up easily. But when I tried to assimilate the memories and feelings of Aqua and Ventus, the primary source of Sentiment's power, I found fierce resistance, from Sentiment… And something else, something powerful and unmoving.

ROB. Or rather, his power.

Curses, I forgot about that damned power limiter.

Though, I suppose having control over his body and most of his lower tier spells wasn't so bad. I could even do all the tricks he did with his Keyblade like turning it into a cannon or whip. Cool and useful, to a degree.

Well, no use staying around here, wherever here was. I was in the forest outside of Fuyuki I think? I rose from my kneel and pulled my Keyblade free from the Earth. It was big, thicker than my arm and heavier too. Under the moonlight, it glinted bronze and gold.

I threw the weapon and willed it into the shape of a Keyblade Glider, the chariot used to traverse the Lanes Between. The weapon separated into multiple pieces and shifted in size and proportion, then reconnected into a giant floating motorcycle-esque vehicle. It was beautiful.

With little hesitation, I leap on and take to the skies. The wind howled and I felt my cape flutter behind me. I gain speed and cover more distance as I approached my first stop, the Ryuudou Temple. The amount of ambient Prana there should be enough to charge my already massive reserves with enough power to cast enough –ra level spells to level an entire city block.

I just hope no-one's there to interrupt me…

From the air the differences between the Fuyuki city I saw and the one I remember became apparent. The most obvious being the absence of Luvia's mansion or my house but other signs were all over the place, buildings that should be old looked new, those that were new were absent and the places where they should stand were undeveloped or overgrown.

"So..what's the plan Illya?" asked Ruby, the uncertainty in her voice obvious thanks to the absence of her usual cheer. She didn't like the feel of this place any more than I did.

"I...don't know Ruby, things seem so different I'm not sure where to star-" I was once again cut off when my eye's wandered over one of the city parks. Images flashed through my mind of a magic circle with the berserker class card at it's center and of 3 words 'Servant, Help, Protect' the images also made me do the equivalent of a flying stumble which I barely managed to keep from turning into a full on nose dive towards the ground.

"That's the second time you've don't something like that Illya, i'm starting to worry about you."

"It's okay....but I think I have an idea.... at least I hope it's an good idea" was all I could say as I flew down towards the park, part of me more than a little afraid at where those words had come from. It had sounded so scary and yet so gentle at the same time.

------------------

Fuyuki park was deserted at this time of day, which suited me just find for what I was doing. Drawing the magic circle hadn't taken much time and with the Berserker class card as the catalyst the ritual should be successful.

Taking a deep breath I began to chant
"Fill. Fill. Fill. Fill. Fill.
Repeat five times, but destroy each when filled.
Let this shard of you be your guide
In another time you protected her
Through the Endless mirrors of space
and the forgotten mists of time
In another place you were her foe
I call upon you, oh hero of old
For a great task lies before me
and I cannot face it alone
Again and again you meet, but a constant remains
Follow the light and enter thy realm
Let my hope form thine body
There is always the girl with hope in her eyes
And thine strength determine my fate.
If thou dost acknowledge my call and purpose, answer me!
and there is always the hero with courage in his heart
Come forth, mine servant!"

I was an avid stargazer. I loved watching the night sky and tracing random constellations on random clusters of stars. Once, I named one set of star clusters the Scythes of Summer, because it was summer and the constellation resembled a pair of overlapping scythes. Those were fun times.

I supposed I could spend a hour or two stargazing while I waited for the Prana to build up in my host body until-

*squawk!*

Wha-

*splattersmack*

holyshitwhatthefuckisthisohmygoditsallovermyfacegetitoffgetitoffgetitoffgetitoffgetitoff-

crash!

...I lay there on the ground, motionless as the gore of whatever it was that I hit mid flight dripped down my faceplate, my Keyblade Glider spiralling out of control and crashing into the ground a great distance away in a great ball of flame and destruction. Moments later, it appeared in my hand, marred with dirt.

Note to self; never take eyes off the sky whenever flying.

I pulled myself upright, wiping the gore off my faceplate. I looked around and found myself in a forested area overshadowed by buildings. Was I in a park? If so, which one?

Screw it, this place is as good as any other. I distance myself from the crater I dug out with my back and plant the Keyblade on the ground, using it as a brace as I knelt down. I allowed my senses to take over as ambient Prana flowed into me, feeding me power albeit slowly.

A fair distance away from me, I notice a flash of red light.

I wasn't alone.

Come forth, mine servant!"

As you finished the last words, the world started to blur and shake; and then, in a flash of blinding painful light, the circle exploded.

~~~
Deep under the mount Enzo, A Shadow Hungers.
~~~

You wake up a few seconds - or maybe minutes? Or even hours? - later, lying in what appears to be a crater. Your head hurts. You feel strangely scared for some reason.

Something clearly went wrong.

Then a slow, grinding sound - a stone against the stone - attracts you attention. With some unexpected effort, you turn your gaze toward it, only to see... yourself.

A moment passes in silence, as dust from explosion slowly settles, and your copy stares at you with indecipherable impression.

I stop and stare dump struck for a moment, of all the things I was expecting to happen this most certainly wasn't it. I had somehow managed to summon me, well a lot taller me who was holding a very big and heavy looking sword like it was nothing.

"Illya was this what you were trying to do?"

"N-nope....I...i'm not sure what I was trying" I told my wand as I slowly approached my duplicate "Umm h-hello...me"

You wake up to an endless void.
What the fuck. Seriously, I never have dreams this abstract. Sure they can be trippy, but they're usually about some extremely improbable series of events at familiar locations rather than this. An endless void? What is an endless void anyway? Does it completely lack any and all matter apart from me? Is it simply nothingness stretching on to infinity? But that couldn't be, because I was here and not dead or that uncomfortable. Actually, it was nicer here than where I'd come from. Assuming I had actually traveled somewhere and this wasn't just a mental abstraction.
"Ah. You've arrived."
So much for the infinite void, stretching onwards til all things are reduced to nothing. The fact that sound carries here indicates that there is a medium for it to travel through, so we can't even be in space. But then my continued state of not-death required an atmosphere, and thus a medium for sound to travel in, so this was just more information I already kne- holy fuck someone else is here!.
A human figure walks into view.
How does that even work, anyway? Is this really just a room with a fancy floor or something? Because that's a pretty fucking massive downgrade from an infinite void.
"Welcome. Now, I'm sure you're wondering why I've brought you here."
I've been around certain websites long enough and seen a fair bit of TNG; so I knew exactly what those words meant. ROB, as I have just decided to call this utter wanker of a possibly omnipotent being, meant that all my previous speculation was useless and I should just go with "magic" as an explanation for everything. Which is better than a room with a fancy floor, I suppose.
The image of a city ripples into existence.
Well I'd quote the WIzard of Ozx, but that would just be tacky. As I looked at the image, a dawning horror came upon me. No fucking way. No way that this is the city I think it is! I mean sure they look rather similar and sure that would be within ROB's theoretical powers but come on, why'd it have to be that universe! That place runs on insane troll logic, and about as hospitable to inhabitation by normal, squishy humans like me as Catachan.
"Due to a...situation, I am relocating you to here." It getsures at the city.
Have I reiterated how unfair that it had to be this universe yet? Why couldn't I have gotten Star trek or something. Wait, that would also be bad. The point is, I'm feeling that a normal human getting dumped into a deadly universe in place where they don't even speak the local language isn't going to do too well for themselves.
However, I'm not a monster. I'm not going to just dump you there with nothing."
Oh, it's one of those ROBs. The power granting ones. Maybe this won't be as bad as I've been hyping it up to be. I wonder what powers and/or epic loot he'd be giving out today? Random superpowers, one fictional item of your choice? Hopefully not avatars, that'd be way too tacky.
The city ripples out again.
"Firstly, I'm forging you into a new form. You'll need it to survive.
Oh no. This is going to end up with genderbending, isn't it? Or being a giant dragon. Personally, I'd rather go the giant dragon route. Because being able to breathe fire on people was awesome.
Secondly, I have an objective for you. Complete it, and I shall reward you with both knowledge and power."
Sweet. Hopefully that power will include "can get back home with superpowers intact" power. That was a good power.
As even the void starts to fade, the figure leans in and delivers a final mesage.
That's not so ba-
And with that, you wake.

I woke to pain. In fact, I'm fairly certain that I was more pain than person at that point. Everything hurt all at once; in a way that's simply impossible to describe. Every single cell in my body was screaming that this really fucking hurt and that they'd like it to stop now, please. After a few moments, it stopped hurting so much.

I noticed a few things then. One, I was now in a female body. Two, I was wearing some sort of bodysuit. Three, it looked an awful lot like the current Captain Marvel's suit, which would fit with the whole now a woman thing. Four, I was fucking falling to earth at a rather significant speed above Fuyuki.

Man, was I glad that I could fly now. I felt Carol's memories, her experiences that stretched over a life more than twice as long as mine. Without them, and the elements of her personality that I felt begin to merge with my own, I'd have very likely gone splat in about a second or two. As it was, I managed to arrest my descent and put myself down somewhere.

Well, I guess this is not the worst case scenario. At least I got some sweet superpowers out of the deal. Now, what the fuck am i going to do now? I could try and kill Lancer, but he was an alright guy from what I remembered of Fate/Zero. Killing him would hardly be heroic. Then I remembered about canon caster and his master. They would need to be dealt with post-haste.

Now how would I go about finding a serial killer and his demented French buddy? Actually, where was I? To answer that question, I began to walk along the side street I'd landed in; trying to find a major road and hopefully some place that sold maps. Maybe if I got my bearings, I could begin to think more about what to do, and if I was going to complete my objective.

You quickly find yourself in a some sort of a urban area. Aside from a few half-finished buildings here and there, nothing ruins an impression of a clean and sterile modern night city.

You manage to find a bus stop and a map nearly;
http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111010011339/typemoon/images/a/a8/Fuyuki.png

You could see some kind of a 24/7 store in the distance, but you also find yourself to be penniless at the moment.

A few minutes after your appearance, a loud sound of explosion reverbates through the area, somewhere from the direction of the park nearby.

Another silent moment passes. Finally, it seems what the girl before you come to some sort of a decision.

"Hello, me." she speaks mirroring you own words in a voice what seems to be far too rough for somebody of her appearance, and then twitches - as surprised by her own voice. It doesn't last, though and in the very next moment she is yet again wearing an emotionless impression and now walking toward you.

...You can feel it - something is wrong. Maybe it's how tightly she grips the axe-sword in her hand, her heavy steps or something else - but you can feel tension in the air.

I froze in place as she approached, memories of my battle with the berserker class card replaying in my mind. What if she attacks me? Could I beat her alone? I could feel my breath quicken at the thought panic slowly creeping it's way into my mind.
Calm yourself. Speak. Reason.
But I forced it down with a wave of resolve, I can't afford to panic here. There was too much at stake, I had to protect Mom and Dad along with this Saber person. It's what a proper magical girl would do.

"I...don't know what happened but...I need your help" I said putting on a brave face "Mom and Dad are in danger .....I-i want to protect them....b-but something tells me that I can't do it alone. I don't know where or even if Kuro, Miyu, Rin or even Luvia are here....I only have Ruby and i'm not sure we'll be enough" my body was shaking and I felt tears running down my cheeks as I continued to speak "S-so p-please I ask you..no I beg you, help me."

I just pick a random direction and start walking. Not sure why, but it feels right.

Your path lies through the some sort of the suburbian area. It's currently a fairly calm place; most of the lights in the windows are already turned off.

A few minutes after your arrival, you hear a faint crying noises in the direction you were going to. As you come closer, you see a small food stand, occupied by a company of a man dressed in black.

It seems, one of them has suffered some sort of a tragedy and is currently uncontrollably crying , while the rest are trying to calm him down. You can vaguely overhear them talking about of the police incompetence, and a repeating promises of the bloody vengeance.

They have yet to notice you.

Yeah, no, I'm not going that way.
Kill them.
Sounds like something's happened, though. Maybe I should...
No, it's not likely to be relevant to the Fate/Zero plot. No point going over there.
Anger.
I should go. That crying is starting to get annoying.
I turn around, looking for another way to where Ur-
I stop.

They mentioned police incompetence, while talking about whatever they were on about. Maybe Uryuu has already summoned Caster, and they were talking about one of his victims?

That would be... bad. I knew it was a possibility, but never took it seriously for some reason.

Damn it.

Nothing I can do, though. May as well keep looking for Caster, and maybe point them in Saber's direction. Ask them to kidnap Irisviel while I'm at it.

I leave, hoping they won't notice me...
Façade.
Wait.

I was Skulduggery Pleasant, right? Did I get his Façade?

I curse myself for not realising that I'm still skeletal earlier. If someone had seen me...

I quickly check to confirm that I have the rune on my collarbone, then tap it.

The illusion flows over my skin, and I relax.

Time to find another way to Caster.

I beg you, help me."
She snorts in a very unfemine way, but stops.

"The same parents who decided what I should not exist? Who decided to create a fake to take my place?" - she asks, bitterly. "Yeah, sure. Can do that. Should I?"

She sighs.

"You don't need to answer that one. How I am going to be acknowledged as true Illyasviel Von Einzbern if all Einzberns are dead? Where do we start, though - any bright ideas? I am a bit confused about what exactly happened here."

Time to find another way to Caster.
A half a hour of walking later, you somehow manage to stumble upon the house cordoned by the police.

A very short investigation nets you information what serial Killer indeed was here some time ago. Several bodies were found at the place of crime, but while most of them were simply killed in a way normal for this serial killer, one body was mutilated to the point of of being absolutely unrecognizable. Supposedly, judging by the size of the remains, that's a youngest child the family.

Police is helpless; for some reason, they are complitely unable to find any kind of of trace what could lead them to the murderer. If before these were fairly simple works of an amateur, these are complete and utterly clean.

Police is stumped. As people on site morbidly joke, this seems to be the work of some kind of a criminal genuis or a supernatural being. More likely supernatural being. How else you are supposed to destroy somebody's body that utterly? It seems like a work of a meatgrinder, not some kind of a human or animal, and there were no instruments of murder found on-site.

Perhaps, if you can manage to gain direct access to the scene of murder you can find something.

You can also feel some kind of a spell still active nearly, even though you are not exactly sure what it is, at the moment.

Damn it. Caster's been summoned.

Now what? I'm no investigator. Police wouldn't just give information to random people, and I don't think I can get in there without being caught.
Anger.
A clench my fist in annoyance.

I might be able to run in with my Façade up, then retreat and reset my disguise, but if I get caught part way through...

...That's probably more important. Let's deal with that first.

I try and get a feel of where the spell is coming from, really hoping it's not inside the condoned area.

That first, then getting an ally. Like maybe Kotomine and Tohsaka. Preferably after Gil decides to 'collect' Saber, but I digress.

I need to find that spell.

I need to find that spell.

A bit more through investigation tells you what the source of the spell is inside of the house.
...
No, wait, it's moving. And, it seems, there is more than one source.

A second later you can see one of the corpses being carried from the scene of crime, and it's basically reeks of magic; dirtly, wrong, evil kind of magic, what also feel somewhat alive and... getting more active with every second?

Shit, Chest-bursting Shoggoth.

Although that should probably be body-burster, all things considered.

Still, no time to waste.

I need to get people away from the corpse, or destroy it.
Burn
No time for a distraction.

I run through the crowd, shoving people aside with Wind Magic as I run, clicking my fingers a few times.

I hope people rationalise it as a hidden match or lighter when I set that corpse on fire.

I need to find that spell.
As you come closer, the signature starts to get even more active, seemingly reacting to your magic. As you reach the corpse and proceed to light it on fire, despite warning cries and people attempting to stop you, body of the victim - a man in his thirties - starts to horribly deform and, finally... bursts.

With a horrible scream, a giant abomination what leapt straight out of the Lovecraft's novels lunges right for your face, or what is left from it, anyway. It's seems frustrated by the fact what you decided set in on fire.

In the distance, you hear horrified screams and sounds of more chest-bursting.

"I...i'm not sure." I said approaching my new ally...no sister "but we need to find mom and dad...." I paused a moment trying to think of where we should start looking. With a sigh I shook my head, I couldn't think of where we should start.
Einzbern Castle
But I remembered the woods mom took me to when I was younger along with an old castle. For some reason that specific place stood out to me "We'll need to find a place to stay at least and I remember an abandoned Castle in the forest that mom took us to visit once, it should work until we can find them right? I think I can fly us there...." my eyes drifted to the large weapon my counterpart was holding "...umm it might be a bit slow though, that thing looks kinda heavy."

Shit.

I headbutt the Shoggoth, doing nothing.

It responds by ripping my leg off.

Thank god I'm immortal.

Okay, quick plan: Push up with Air Magic. If this knocks the beast off balance, use the time to get away from it, fly up and throw fireballs. If not, just make a fireball and blow it up.

If that doesn't work? Just try and hold it here until a Servant/Master arrives to kill it.

Okay, go time.

"Okay. It's not like I have a better idea or anything."

My eyes drifted to the large weapon my counterpart was holding "...umm it might be a bit slow though, that thing looks kinda heavy."
Basaka-Illya went from depressed and bitter to smug as Gilgamesh in a three seconds flat.

"This thing? Ha! It's as light as a feather. No inferior copy of mine can... "
You both hear a distant crush and explosion.

"...We might want to investigat this. Maybe."

"Don't worry, i'm sure we'll be able to figure something out once we're settled sis" I said putting my hand on her comfortingly.

A giggle escapes my lips at the comment "Or maybe your just really strong, seriously that thing looks like it weighs a ton!!" I said jokingly, it felt nice to see her with an expression other than gloomy.
You both hear a distant crush and explosion.

"Yeah that sounds like a good idea. " I told her holding Ruby at the ready, which reminds me why was she being so quite?

"Illya and ...Illya I'm detecting a magical signature...also one of you needs to change your name, it's confusing!!" the wand said at last.

"Ruby not the time for that!!" was the response I gave as we cautiously approached the location of the crash.
