Now that that is over with, I have to ask Toast, what would have happened if we refused to consume the divine spark?
 
Awesome. If he wasn't really upset about us turning it down then there is no way it was a trap. I can't wait to see how consuming this part of Achilles divinity will affect us and our own divine core.

I think the Divinity is supposed to be permanent and War is because of our total destructive/combat potential.

Don't forget the muscles. Shioon is buff. Far more than Godou. And Luo Hao has a muscle fetish...

The Avatar form functionally does that. We get another +8 on all War related rolls and +10 all Divinity related rolls just by having it, which reflects the passive bonus and just the general Divinity gain from possessing a very powerful Authority. When it's active, we get another +15 to any combat roll, regardless of whether it's War, Divinity, or anything else.

As Enjou wrote here, the +8 war and +10 Divinity are permanent stat gains to represent your improved powers from taking Avatar as you do for all your Authorities. Every Authority you get gives you a set of stats. For killing one of the heads of a very powerful pantheon you gained about double the stats of what was given from killing Igong, a mid tier god.

If you channel the full might of Avatar, you get an additional +15 for two combat rolls giving you an effective War stat of 48 but after those two rolls there will be a debuff of - 10 for two subsequent rolls. This is to represent burning a ton of power and the blowback from doing so.

Mahesvara was within the upper end of Heretical Gods and on War alone out stated you almost 2 to 1. The only reason he wasn't any stronger was due to the berserk effect. You won by virtue of a stupendous amount of luck with your cumulative combat rolls at nearly double Mahesvara's. Even then he killed you right out the gate with such a gap in points as to make it impossible for you to survive. ONLY because @King Arthur took the time to write two 1000+word plus omakes to try and buy enough points to NOT have you die as well as the 10 points from Unelemental from an earlier omake allowed you to resurrect.

I will try and post something tomorrow with the divine spark consumption. I'm hoping for a few more suggestions for Authorities but I may just refine the current suggestions or come up with something new all together. You'll probably get to pick between 3 choices or so. There'll also be a vote to spend Flowers of Reincarnation on Sophia. I don't think anyone will vote NOT to save the girl who saved your life, but that's still a choice for you all to make.

Authorities for the Hindu God or Achilles or just random future events?

Still a chance to gain the rest of the Authorities related to him after we devour his spark and raise Divinity more as time goes on or are those Authorities out of our reach baring extreme situations?

I am considering a mechanic for it, but its difficult to implement. There's also a high risk of stat bloat if I go through with allowing the rest of the Authorities so most likely you'll get what you get from the divine spark and that will be it for the foreseeable future.
