Those Who Stand Against Empires (A Novus in 40K)

Ohm robots, for example, are incapable of replicating the feats of Boomers from Bubblegum Crisis, not because that's technologically infeasible but because to do so would increase the amount of resources and time needed for assembly and make them ill suited for the role of easy to mass infantry. More complex pieces of equipment also need to be built to higher standards and require more advanced assemblies and higher resolution construction methods that take longer and demand additional computing power.

Top tier Alliance designs eschew these concerns entirely. They maximize performance without a thought given to mass or time because they're not meant to be built out in the field. They're meant to be prepared beforehand and then gated in. It still takes less time to build them than a Liberty ship, just too long to justify investing the effort to do so during fights where a misspent hour or two could result in planetary annihilation.
Fair enough, good way of integrating and applying RTS mechanics like this. And makes sense in conflicts as short as this, its limited by how much resources you can get and then build times for it..... Oh shit, so Althea is more broken that she already was as, the magic giving her a neverending source of mass, since she's not limited to a twelve hour fight and conflict.... out boy, about a month's worth of time and she should have an underground nation beginning with production exceeding transport capacity and such. I need to ask if we can get a map or just info about the region Sandra lives in, Since we get the general idea of how things are but no hard data and how we will move stuff between regions.

So the Top Tier Alliance Design we can still build since I don't think we need to worry about the time needed to make those as it isn't limited by a 24 hour window.

As for what Althea can produce, that's pretty much anything. That act of digitizing an object provides Althea with enough information for her to be able to make an atom accurate replica of it. That however doesn't necessarily translate to understanding, as evidenced by how the Alliance has been struggling to make sense of Hierarchy teleportation tech for the past ten years. Any new technology that Althea ends up encountering is going to have be researched before she can safely carry out more than cosmetic modifications.

Right now she has full access to the Alliance's techbase, which includes those of the Novus and Humanity, a wealth of non-military technologies, and enough data to make working copies of the majority of the Hierarchy's arsenal including their iconic 50 meter tall walkers.
So basically anything we can think of within reason, not anything like Dark Age of Technology or Imperium Ships but stuff like Hydroponics, machinery for industry or the like, drones, and is available to produce. stuff like that is able to be produced and understood but more advanced stuff Althea doesn't know. I'm guessing any Imperium Tech will require a research Action to understand it then? But can those 50 Meter Tall Walkers equip power claws and Chainswords? If you can't melee, you don't belong in 40k.

By the way QM, what's the scope of this Quest? will we expand off Planet? or is this quest just going to focus on Althea's journey on this planet, the liberation, and the waiting before the Imperial response?

Oh... those walkers converted to use alliance guns would make for good mobile bases when we get the point we besiege the city.
Explain. We talking Armored Core Arms Forts Here? Halo Scarabs? or what?

Baislcy mobile artillery platforms, supply depots and housing that can all shoot back at anyone trying to assult them from the ground.
So Spirit of Mother Will Arms Fort in a sense.... I can see it, though I'm not sure how it will be when factoring orbital control into it. but still useful and its only ten meters shorter then the smallest Imperator Titan. So if we can make and retrofit them we have big mobile bases that the Imperium will think are the combat Walkers.

Considering the firepower they have... they might be able to throw down with titans.

Note that we won't have access to that in the short to mid term. For safety reasons, most of the lore and tech aside from the basics we learned the normal way are locked behind a combination of code restrictions and geasa.

Considering we're in another universe and there's an asshole empire doing genocides, we should be able to fulfil the requirements to unlock it, but that will apparently take some amount of active effort followed by a period of self-training to be able to actually use the mystic lore unlocked.
