@Totadileplayz I think Svat and Mand are facing entirely different groups of organics, so unless that was an IC mistake - which I don't think it is - you might want to reword your post? :p
 
Yeah the only thing I could potentially react to is the message. If that wasn't meant for me than I find it weird you tagged me. If it was. That would be an appropriate response due to lack of detail in specification i took it as a general order not a specific one. If you see b1s and organics help the organics by taking out the b1's.

Tagged all the players so they could weigh in on Mand's potential actions. A bit pointless now, but that was the intent at the time of my posting.
 
Alright, so, had the post typed up yesterday, but it needed to be changed since GM forgot to mention Feryu saw it from a window. Also, Feryu can't speak binary or connect to the comms, but he can undertand it. How much would he know about the others and the mission if all he did on the shop was clean and rest?
 
I'm somewhat confused. Slicing is a separate skill from Computer use? And I just gained a rank in it?

And what exactly is Digital-Slicing? Is it just the Slicing Skill?

And how exactly does that fit with Computer Use? Do I just add the OD to Computer Use? Or do I need to create an entirely new skill and then add the OD to that?
 
Slicing is the specific task of attacking encrypted bits of data, while computer use is just knowing how to use a digital interface. If I just put every digital interaction under (Computer Use), Computer Use would be far too powerful.

The Digital part is just an Archetype. Similar situations would be Language-Basic or Combat-Sniping. The first would be just showing that the skill has to do with languages, and the second just shows that it has to do with combat.

You create a new skill at unlearned and put the OD to it.

It increases the rank at which you can do a digital action. However, it can't increase it higher than Computer Use's Level. For example, at this moment you cannot increase a Digital Skill beyond intermediate with Computer Use.
 
In other news, I find this outcome to be incredibly amusing OOC, and the exact opposite IC.

So how do I improve Computer Use then if it's only use is to boost other skills?

EDIT: Also, how much does it take to go from Unlearned to Basic?
