Bolas could care less about Dominaria. He's not 'mad' or whatever because it's a wreck, he was never a good guy. He's probably one of the top tier villains in the setting.
Anyways, Kyouko's new powerset definitely has a degree of faith to it, and involves channeling and manipulating 'pure' power. The heart of Yavimaya mainly just took that and converted it all into green mana which it put immediately to use rejuvenating the land. As I see it, that tree was basically a sort of ark of sorts, all full and ready to go, but with no real power source. Dominaria doesn't exactly lack for mana at the moment, just... colored mana sources. And colourless sources are generally finite, because they have no real conceptual weight sustaining them.
Right now Kyouko and the SI are going to be apart for a while- there's a couple different plot lines I want to explore here, and different characters to introduce. I also still need to reconcile the time difference, as some of these characters shouldn't be around, and I don't feel comfortable using TIME RIFTS TIME RIFTS EVERYWHERE as an explanation for all of them.
