[X] Dispel: Allows you to attempt to Dispel an ongoing spell within short range. Cannot be used to try to banish demons or unbind the undead.
[X] Aethyric Armour: Magic wraps around you and acts as armor, with effectiveness based on your mastery of magic.
[X] Skywalk: Allows you to walk on air for a few seconds, enough to cover about twenty meters at a run.
[X] Move: You can move unsecured light objects around at medium range, and force equivalent to a shove at short range.
[X] Blessed Weapon: For the next hour, the weapon this is cast upon will count as magical for the purposes of damaging creatures resistant to mundane weapons, such as ghosts.
You are speaking non-sense logic man-thing. Of course I'm at your side side
Joke aside tho, barty I have a question if you wouldn't mind. I've been checking the other backgrounds in Chargen 1 and what will happen to other 'plots' like that cultist burgher or princess in exile one? I mean I'm very much onboard with current character but others seemed interesting too. Will we meet them as other NPC's or these plots are gone? Reduced to atoms.

That's a very good question. Right now it's not relevant, but I'll make you throw dices for each one do see what happened to them if/when it becomes a possible hook.

Hmm. If you just go down the list based on our votes during the first vote (ignoring disallowed combos) then the others would be a Border Princess in the Gold or Light College, an Imperial Noble in the Amber College, the Burgher Cult Victim in Amethyst, and Urchin in whichever of Gold and Light the Border Princess doesn't have.
So, like, Border Princess in Gold, Imperial Noble in Amber, Burgher Cult Victim in Amethyst, and Urchin in Light. That sounds like a neat set of people to run into at some point (especially the Imperial Noble Amber College guy).

Half the point of that character would have been to explore her relationship with her siblings and her parents, and choosing Amber college would have broken it irreparably (because you go in fully aware you can be a noble Amber).... So I'll probably also throw dices for which college they went to, taking off the "there's no way you can stay a Noble in that College" ones (ie, Amethyst because of the Vow and Amber because of the utter incompatibility)

If Amber is an issue for that one it could easily be switched, I was just listing them in order with the actual prohibitions taken out (and Imperial Noble didn't have that one listed as a prohibition, though Border Princess did). In that case it'd probably be Border Princess in Gold or Light, Imperial Noble in whichever of those the Border Princess isn't, Burgher Cult Victim in Amber, and Urchin in Amethyst. Or something close to that.

"My name is Wilhemina Petru," the old lady says as you both sit down in a study with her name on the door. "I'll be your Master from now on. I've heard you're done with the Petty spells and did quite a dent on our Lesser spellbooks already, hmm?"
You nod with a proud smile on your face. "Yes, Master. Everyone at the College has been very helpful."
"Ward of the Colleges since you were about 4 years old, right. We rarely see manifested magical talents so early in childhood. Why did you choose the Celestial College?" she asks.
You think for a moment as she peers at you, but in the end, the answer is simple. "Curiosity, Master." She, and any Wizard of the Colleges, would know what that means. Azyr is inspiration and the search for the unreachable. It lies thick in every place where people wonder about the world around them and not their next meal. For a girl raised by Perpetual Apprentices, and frequently exposed to all the (safe) magic of the Colleges, full of questions as you were... It was a Light Mage who told you that you should join the Celestial, and you were truly thankful for his honesty.
Your answer earns you a smile. "The essence of Azyr, then? Good. Will I need to keep an eye on you, or can you keep it in check?"
You ducked your head. The issue with mages that take into themselves the very impulse of seeking the unreachable made magic is that sometimes, they take regrettable action to satisfy said impulses. Normally, their colleagues see it coming and stop them, but... There are at least three living Dark Magisters who used to be part of the Celestial Order. So you try to answer Master Petru's question with utmost honesty.
"I think I can be trusted, Master. At the end of the day, I care more about the College than about getting answers to my questions."
"Affection for peoples and institutions is a good shield to protect you from that kind of danger, Casandora," she opines. "Make many friends, and even if you were to lose some, you'll stay grounded. Heh." She chuckles and claps her hands. "We have five months in Altdorf. I believe in giving freedom to Apprentices, so I want you to make up your own planning. I'll be able to put aside a month to teach you exclusively. The rest of the time, I'll only be able to dedicate a few hours to you over the week. I had plans here before I felt it was time for me to take another apprentice."
"Huh... Master?" You ask before she rolls on.
"What is it?"
"Where are we going in five months? I thought my apprenticeship would be in Altdorf, close to the Library and the Observatory," you explain with a grimace. You spent your whole childhood in the Imperial Capital, and have a few friends here -that is, former wards of the Colleges like you- that you would have liked to stay in contact with.
"My Tower is at Tobaro, Casandora," she explains, putting a hand on yours. "I keep an eye on the Blighted Marshes, the Abasko Mountains and the Southern and Tilean Seas with a few other Magisters from other Colleges there. We also send a few Tilean youngsters to the Colleges every year -we have an agreement with the local Witch Hunters. It's busy work, but-"
"You have your own Tower?" you ask, excited. "With no waiting line to use the Observation Lenses?"
"Urgh," she facepalm. "Well, now there's one. I mostly use it for sea-gazing, mind. You wouldn't believe the number of beings that think they can just sneak on the Tilean coast and rampage through it. Keeps me and my colleagues on our toes. I'm not much for Conceptual Azyr- the future sight- though the spells that rely on it are the most popular here. I'm much better at the Elemental side, and nothing works better to destroy a fleet of Norscan raider from beyond the horizon line than a few well-placed lightning strikes."
"That's unusual, right? I don't know of anyone who concentrate so much on the Elemental aspect of Azyr, Master... There's not even that many spells in the College's sanctioned roster about it." You observe, worried that some kind of pariah might have picked you out as her student.
Wilhemina stops smiling for a moment. "It actually used to be the traditional focus of the Celestial College. Things changed after the Night of a Thousand Arcane Duels. I lost my old Master then, and many of the more Elementally attuned Magisters of the Order went with him."
"And then, the Colleges were forcefully closed for fifteen years, so any of the institutional knowledge was lost?"
You Master gives you an approving look before moving on. "Let's discuss what you plan to do before leaving. You'll have to learn some Tilean, only the more competent Merchant Princes and some of the Porto's dwellers speak Reikspiel. And I," she cracks her fingers, which gives off a sound more akin to thunder than cracking bones, "have to have a conversation with the Imperial Chancellor about the need to keep an eye on Nuln's output... I swear if I see one more pirate ship armed with brand new greatcannons..."
You have 6 actions, corresponding to 6 months. Your Master insists that you learn Tilean before leaving Altdorf, and you have to travel to Tobaro, which will take a while, so 3 actions are already locked. Make a plan to use the 3 others.

We are about to go half a continent away, not getting saddle sores in the process would be nice and also it makes for good synergy with...
It is going to be a while before we can just trust magic alone for our defense and a lot of the fate weaving magics of the College actually benefit from say shooting one's enemies
Finally learn something about the current affairs of the lands we are going to
