*looking over for any plan that went to the Summer Islands, because bows on dragonback are hyper cool*

Here's a Plan for a Lysene take on Aerea, that leads into sorcery.

Alternately, here's a diplomatic/combat trait that might make her look like an reborn Visenya.

I think any of these plans are just an interesting character, especially when compared to the other two quests that I'm reading, Rhaenyra is a tried and true warrior, and the Maegor quest is beginning heavy in sorcery. I kinda want to keep it fairly differentiated and intrigue is a hard fought skill to gain ranks in at character creation so its why I've gone with three different levels. +3 (Dragon's Shadow), +2 (Wraith), or +1 (Archer).

I like the juxtaposition of having the biggest and baddest dragon that demands attention, and yet also being just as dangerous otherwise. Nocturnal is an interesting Curse because we can fight against it when needed, but I think it compounds with the sneaky intrigue angle.

Lys is all in start, but the reduced dragonflight skill I think is pretty handsomely rewarded especially when you're either the only one with a dragon anyway, and numbers generally win dragon combat, so the benefits to manipulating and potentially assassinating our rivals I think is a fair trade off, while also keeping some other stats okay.

Skagos start really is the common people's champion, fine intrigue as well as becoming multilingual, I feel this build gives us a great deal of variety in how we can play, plus Unicorns.

Finally the Summer Isles start, which is more of sort of robin hood sort of deal honestly. Summer Isles has a pretty useful array of benefits for the negative of limited companion places and combining Compassionate with an Intrigue build is asking for trouble, but it indicates an ability to lead and a set of varied means to do so, fully outfitted, crowned, and swift and as silent as the night she finds herself further called into.

@Susano if a plan with possession wins will the ghost refuse to sully its tongue with the language of "lesser peoples" (i.e non Valyrians)?

In case people want to vote for it. I'm honestly not unhappy with the leading plans though.

The ghost would be only in your head anyway, hence possession. If he were to speak (mentally), he would speak High Valyrian, but what of it? Aerea can speak it and others wouldn't hear it anyway. But even more than that:

"On the other hand, he may also be able to advize you, however indirectly"

Communication with the ghost would be more indirect anyway. Dreams. Inklings during an audience. Suddenly coughing as you are about to affirm an administratively ruinous agreement. You would be able to learn to call upon him in dreams and with some use to it he would be able to speak plainly enough in High Valyrian, but he would not be a conversation partner Aerea can turn to at the spur of a moment.

Ah. Thanks for the info. The wording of the boon/curse led me to believe that they could take over with Aerea's consent and the mental image of some dragonlord getting into a shouting match with Jae was amusing.

Not wrong, though you could also say it's a community of ASOIAF enjoyers on SV that formed back during FITE, the GSRPG counterpart to the CerseiQuest here on SV. That is where most of the mechanics come from, though Teen Spirit did add the Stress thing which I also shamelessly stole, heh.

Eh, well. It's my first quest, so I think working with established mechanics and themes is for the best.
