[X] the Dwarves
[X] the Dragon God Bahamut
[X] Human (freak) - you were born....wrong
Demon Corruption. Its foul presence contaminates the body, the air, the very environment itself. You aren't a demon but your.....appearance is because of it. The afflicted like you don't look normal. You are mutants. Freaks.
Perhaps you got lucky, your constitution made you resistant to that unholy aura of the Demon King. The Heavenly Sword hurt like hell though.
As you look towards the group waiting for you you see that some reel back in disgust. Nevertheless one chooses to stand out.
The Dwarven King who at the size of the undwarven six feet stands a foot above the average max height of dwarves.
"Well young man." he answers, "how are you today?"
From your wheelchair you bow, "recovering milord. The battle with the Demon King had worn me thin."
"now now you don't have to be so modest young man."
It seemed strange that none of the others approached or even commented on you, only observing your conversation with intense scrutiny.
The Dwarven king is the oldest of the group and perhaps the wisest. To you you are reminded of your grandfather and those sentiments are shared exactly by the dwarven guards who look at him with a modicum of personal respect.
"So tell me, how did you do it?"
"I just saw the Demon King and the sword right there. Someone had to do it or the world and..."
You glance at your fiancee and notice that the High Elf and Wood Elf kings frown.
"It was dumb luck and adrenaline." you admit, "I just wanted to win and I did.
"...I understand." the Dwarven King answers, "no more questions from me. How about you pointy ears?"
The Elven Kings look at your fiancee and the High Elf begins to speak, "I can barely stand one abomination, now I have two in front of me, let alone one that is a mud-elf and a mongrel at that."
You get real angry real fast.
"Enough." says the priest of Bahamut, "your chosen of the Goddess may have failed but that doesn't mean you may harass one of Bahamut's flock. You actions are already...troubling."
The Elven Kings sneer at you and leave.
"Thank you father." you thank him.
"As a shepherd it is my duty." he smiles, "the goddess may have her own views but Father Bahamut isn't so exclusive."
After a pause the Priest begins to speak again, "Not many like your existence but know that among the dwarves and the faithful of the Dragon God you are welcome."
The rest of the group finally decides to speak with you or leave, nothing much comes from it but the Northern King at least pats you on the back saying: "admirable courage young man, as tough as any northmen."
With that out of the way you realize that you inevitable have to go visit the Afflicted Leaders at:
[ ] A fortified camp in the wilderness
[ ] An abandoned Demon-ravaged castle taken by an Afflicted group
As you recover you request the aid of:
[ ] A Cleric from the Church of Bahamut's Healer Sect
[ ] A physician from the Unsorcerer Machine Empire's College of Medicine
