[X][Element] Copper

[X] [Kanohi] Jutlin, Mask Of Corruption

So after thinking about it for awhile and rewatching x-men (1992 cartoon) I have come around to the power of magnetism. Also the navigation part sounds really useful if those quakes made whatever maps we had useless.

It hit me that our connection to these Makuta will generate inherent distrust from others, unless we pretend otherwise. But carting around a bunch of leeches made from a Makuta's essence is going to raise questions, making that connection harder to downplay unless we can come up with a really really good reason to have this. So on one hand, adding an evil mask on top of that is bound to get us in trouble; though depending on the circumstances, with the leeches' presence, anonymity and social acceptance may already be a lost cause.

For better or for worse these masks do have utility, so it would make the most sense to choose one in case we need it. Still, I feel like it could be a liability as well, and since we don't need to wear it all the time anyway, having some sort of bag or pack to store it in when it's not in use would help us maintain cover. Similarly, a cover for the leeches' cylinders wouldn't hurt. Something to look for in the future.

[X] [Kanohi] Mohtrek, Mask Of Duplication Can temporarily summon past and future versions of the wearer to the present to aid in any task, though it risks paradoxes. (From 7-6)

While Corruption seems likely to win, I'll stick with this one. If nothing else, it seems like it could be interesting to deal with.

[X] [Element] Copper You are a Fa-Vortixx, with a strong sense of direction and navigation, and possessing miniscule power over magnetism.

As for elements... Magnetism could be useful just for the navigation, but since our powers are described as 'miniscule' I get the feeling we wouldn't be able to get into the more advanced sort of nonsense that would make such an ability truly worthwhile. And Psionics seems like a double-edged sword in the making; while we are apparently protected from mind control and the like, we are still empathic. While that could make social situations easier to navigate as we have an understanding of the other parties' feelings, that could also blow back on us in the form of their emotions influencing our own. Could be interesting because of that risk, but it could also make things more difficult than they need to be.

I'm leaning toward Gravity, Plants, or Lightning. Seem to be less popular options, but they strike me as potentially useful in a more straightforward sort of way. If anyone else would be interested in one of those I would be willing to back it.

Here's the current tally. I'll probably lock votes sometime tonight, provided we don't get any more votes.

Alright, locking votes. Gonna roll a die to see which element wins. Odd for magnetism, even for psionics.
ColdGoldLazarus threw 1 6-faced dice. Reason: Element Total: 2

So I was searching around YouTube to find out more about Bionicles when I found this...

I'm speechless it's just too amazing.

I really hope we run into either them or members of their race
We may or may not run into them, depending on how much I decide to muck about with canon, (as by this point in the official timeline they were transformed into snakes and then more-or-less killed in circumstances too convoluted to get into now) but there are definitely other Skakdi out and about that we're bound to run across sooner or later.

It's something to look forward to and their called Skakdi that's good to know.
