Now that I think about it, maybe History of Magic could help us in identifying, if not the exact curse, then at least the type of curse used on her. We could try looking for similar incidents in history books....
That was amazing. I love the Yes Minister series. There is just so much scope for a Yes Minister crossover with Harry Potter.
I too have an idea for a Yes Minister omake; hopefully I can get around to writing it soon...

Deleted my vote since I failed to consider that I had added to XP pool...
This omake might not be as funny unless one knows the British comedy Yes, Minister. Doubt it will qualify as an omake but I enjoyed contemplating the scene nonetheless. 514 words

Yes Minister...
10 Downing Street, 1991
Prime Minister Jim Hacker sat there gawping at the picture on the wall that started this whole mess. A whole other world, one of magic, the implications for the world at large surely this needed widespread attention, and he would take his role as statesman to do it.
"Good Afternoon Prime Minister, I trust your special meeting has concluded" greeted Sir Humphrey Appleby upon entering the Cabinet Room
"Humphrey, how could you possibly know the meeting I had!"
The Cabinet Secretary merely chortled, "Really Prime Minister? Of course we know about the other minister. Now then I presume that pleasantries were exchanged and we can move on."
"No no Humphrey, this changes everything. We need to tell the world of this, a new age is upon us." smiled the Prime Minister
"Ah... Well it seems Prime Minister that you have decided to take a novel, radical and courageous approach to this issue."
The Prime Minster shuddered, "courageous and radical? Humphrey it's a world of wizards and magic!"
Humphrey smiled, "Yes, Prime Minister. They are terrible with their paperwork, but they do the bare minimum. I really must have a talk with their new undersecretary, Miss Umbridge. Quite unsatisfactory"
"Wait.... You know about this?" queried the PM.
"Of Course Prime Minister. Every Cabinet Secretary is informed upon taking the job, bit of a shock originally but they are quite harmless."
"Humphrey until recently they had terrorists running about!"
"Really Prime Minister? There are about a dozen higher threats than 17 people running around in masks. Wizards do tend to think they are much more clever than they are."
Jim was still trying to formulate thoughts "Humphrey! Magic really changes everything. We must bring them into the fold. Have this Fudge at Cabinet Meetings"
"Oh yes... we've made a report on it. 600,000 job losses in London alone over ten years, Home Office critical understaffing across the nation, widespread buildup needed to handle magical persons. Integrate them into the dole and NHS. Even how to integrate the Wizengamot into the House of Commons and Lords. It will be a remarkable moment in history to say nothing of our allies' responses." Humphrey smiled offering his hand to the Prime Minister, "and you Prime Minister will lead the way, ignoring the controversy..."
"controversy?!" Jim bawked
"Oh yes Prime Minister, the job losses, the integrating of all those and opposing constituencies, the large infrastructure projects needed. tax rises, spending cuts. A courageous step to bring some isolated peoples into our society in such a novel and courageous way. A radical solution to be sure but one that a bold leader could see through" smiled Humphrey.
Jim Hacker considered, "You know Humphrey... I think we can continue....hushing it up?" straightening himself, "I'm sure our successors will find a way to handle and properly deal with the problem. Too many... ah." the Prime Minister paused searching for the words
Humphrey cleared his throat, "Technical and Legal Questions for the Present political climate?"
"Exactly! Yes... that's my final word Humphrey." clearing his throat. "Now, we only need to discuss this when the... other minister pops by?"
Humphrey smiled "Yes, Prime Minister."
To the pool.
The great utility of enhancement and lack of experience Harry has with it leads to its high cost. But potentially if you bought all the elements you would have +75 split across a number of skills.

[QUOTE="skaro, post: 8190951, member: 1119" Muggle study is.... open magic-tech path that Sver love?.
Ah,I edit it out now.
We're trying to locate a missing person. Investigations generally go more smoothly if you can persuade people to talk to you. This, paired with the fact that there's no clear cut "detective" skill besides Cognition (which was too expensive to raise at the time) meant a bump in persuade. We went soft on the healing because the GM was hinting pretty heavily that it would be a good idea to raise some skills that were actually applicable to the mission. I went with Presence because it's our weakest area and we have a couple of debuffs to it.*nervous* Um... Presence, really? I just... really?! Can someone please explain to me why we need Presence? Well, okay, I get why we need some Presence, but can someone explain to me why we need more Presence right now, 'cause I'm at a bit of a loss here. I knew there was a 'social' plan in the works, but I have no idea why it's in the lead when we aren't even really using social currently. I mean, if this plan had been crafted before we met the Empress it would have made sense, but now? I'm not really seeing how this helps us catch the Snatchers, or end a centuries old curse. It just makes us... I don't know, look really cool while we do it?
But wouldn't tracking people through Charms be more effective than relying on our weakest stat to smooth talk the kind of people that would know anything about the whereabouts of the former Snatchers/Death Eaters? Heck, I'm not sure this would be a good plan even if we had eight Presence, well, unless we intend to interrogate people, in that case Presence might help. We're trying to locate a missing person.
