The Magical Girl's Guide to the Galaxy.

Earth: 1
Now that Reality has found an refiled her paper work, we can begin.

You are Alicia Silver. A blond haired girl who decided to go with twintails as your style of choice. Through currently unrevealed means, your powers involve creating a bladed to battle anyone that you do not like, and skill with the most useful item in existence with the possible exception of the Babel Fish, the towel. You also have the ability to combine with machines. No matter how large, useful, or impractical the one in question might be.

You wake up in a rather generic looking hotel room. Apparently, It is rather early in the morning as you notice a clock nearby that says that the time is 6:00 AM. There is nothing else of any real ineterest aside from a rather heavy looking bag, and the sound of someone knocking on the door while saying something currently incoherent.

AN: All votes will be write ins except for certain occasions.

[X] Hide, you don't know how this is or what they want. Best to keep hidden in case they aren't friendly. Try and understand what they are saying.

Is it too late to specify that the twintails are in those drill shaped curls? If not, we should do that for the sake of being the magical girl version of Gurren Lagann.

I like that picture and drill hair is appropriate for our power.

-[x]Think about the last thing you remember in an attempt to work out how you go here.
-[x]Scan room for useful appliances you
may need to combine with

Fixed a couple of typos in an edit. You may wish to copy the fixes.

[X] Call out to the one who knocks, asking them who they are.
-[X] Take stock of the room, noting any potential means of escape or things to fuse with.

Yeah, this is actually better than being overly paranoid.

It's not paranoia if they are really out to get you.
More accurately, it is not paranoia if you have actual reason to suspect that they are out to get you.

And we really don't have any actual reason to suspect that anyone is out to get us, although we do have good grounds for caution in that we know pretty much nothing about our situation.

Exactly, that is why we should hide, a little extra caution doesn't hurt.

It certainly can hurt, depending on the situation.

If whoever is at the door is non-hostile, hiding will aggravate them, and possibly prompt them to force entry, putting us in a much less favourable position to social-fu our way out.

We are SV, I seriously doubt our social fu abilities anyways.

Assuming they're out to get us, they're not going to be knocking on the door unless it's a real barrier to them or they're trying stealth. If it's a real barrier to them, we have nothing to worry about. If they're trying stealth, us calling out to them forces them to change their strategy which gives us a chance to react.
