Theodore searched around online and met with multiple business adept associates, but currently there were no affordable enterprises he could use to fund the organization
There were some places that were almost viable like Zombi-Donuts, a donut place with a gimmick of all their donuts being filled with coloured green filling and little organ shaped candies that had a couple places in Ohio, but Kazlev would have to wait till they seemed more affordable, possibly on a slow month for them

"Okay, I'll stop asking questions, have a good day" The other Bastards in the van on the front lawn started acting more vigilant than before

The Bastard sighed cause they would have to stay a little longer for the info, and the other Bastards in the car kept their individual doors locked except one so their half-sibling could get in

Kazlev looked at the files, which would've been assumed to be complete gibberish if he didn't know it was code, and said "Okay this is great, good work keeping our information guarded against potential spies and such, but you'll have to give me and other authorized personnel a crash course in this"
The Circle members smiled as they pulled out a projector prepared for a code crash course, and one of them said "We were hoping you would say that"
Magic Monroe, who was standing nearby easedropping in the darkness, panicked and started running off "I'm not going back to class!" But the Bastards easily tackled the former corrupt lawyer and dragged them over to some seats the Circle set up for the secret code lesson
Some of the Bastards even had food and drinks which they requested from the Waitress

Kazlev was there too, but writing down the next course of action for the organization

Kazlev sat at the board meeting among the highest Zombi-Donuts shareholders, and the former majority shareholder of the company looking at him in contempt from across the meeting table, Theodore covertly managed to get ownership of a lot of the company via buying others share in low points right before the value rocketed up again
It was pretty risky, requiring some gambles and the manipulation of other shareholders, but he managed to buy out a vast majority of the company's shares
"So what are your plans for the company Boss?"
"Not much, I'll mostly take a back seat, you manage it however you want, just make sure I get my money and we're good"
The former founder was confused as Kazlev then abruptly exited the meeting, smiling

The mayor looked nervous as he sat on the park bench, and beside him was "Magic Monroe" wearing some concealing clothes
"Okay, I got your message, what do you want?" The mayor was sweating, looking around, he doesn't want anyone watching
"Me and my associates need some camouflage from the law, can you provide that?"
"What for?"
"I'll know that, you won't, I'll call you when I want some strings pulled, or I let people see this" Monroe pulled out some photos and threw them on the mayor's lap
It was a photo of said mayor dressed like a clown-gimp, biting into his naked screaming nephew, blood falling from
"You're a sick fuck, also I've got more so don't think ripping these apart will do much"
The mayor sighed, grabbed the absolutely unholy photos, and ripped them apart
And then both parties went their separate ways for now, Magic Monroe smiled and ticked another official off his mental list of blackmail victims in positions of power
A surprising amount of them had the same dirty secret with the cannibal clown-gimp thing, including the nephew, like, the exact same nephew
What even were the logistics of that? Did they all eat little bites? Was he kidnapped? Why specifically that mayor's nephew?
Where the hell do the costumes fit in this weird... sex cult? Cannibal cuisine thing? Monroe shook their head, they were getting side tracked

Anomaly 1
From Monroe's intel they heard rumours of an old building with some SPOOOKY stuff going on inside, the Bastards prepared their assault rifles, got out of their van outside the dilapidated apartment called Sunny Heights, and entered
It was the usual stuff, dust, some more dust, graffiti, and some bugs
But as they went further into the building, they heard something, like disjointed sitcom laughter and aaawwws of adoration, they carefully went further and further in
A doorway at the end of a hall, pink light shining from something inside, the group stepped in with the safety off on their firearms
There was a rotting corpse on the ground, causing multiple Bastards to gag in disgust, but a far more resilient member of the squad leaned down to inspect the body, it seemed to be a homeless man, from the worn out dirty clothes and backpack full of very cheap supplies
Then he saw that his siblings were looking at something, entranced, he turned his head to a corner of the room, the source of the pink light was an old box-like television with pink love hearts painted onto it
It was currently showing a bunch of rapid romcom images with pink lighting despite being unplugged, the resilient Bastard immediately realized the problem when he started feeling a deep love for the shows on the television, he ran forward and covered the screen as much as possible with his body, his head leaning over the device
His brothers and sisters snapped out of it, and one of his sisters said "Damn, she was one Femme Fatale"
"The fuck are you talking about!? Get a cloth or something!"

They managed to find it at a garage sale that was being set up at a house just outside of a town, which luckily meant no witnesses
It is a sort of shrine constructed from a fish bowl with a shattered rim and murky water inside, above it was a mobile with multiple dead stuffed fish rotating above, written on the bowl in permanent marker is
"Temple To The Piscine-Deity-Exiled-From-The-Heavenly-Seas"
They saw the person setting up the garage sale touch the water, then immediately disappear, the Bastards immediately took the shrine, carefully extracting the anomly from the scene in their van, before driving off back to the warehouse

The Circle scholars were looking around for some potential covert ways to find and or purchase some decent research equipment
But one, the individual who was carrying the cheque that Kazlev gave them came back with a box and dazed, talking about a "Very convincing salesman" while barely even lucid, and with the cheque missing
When the Bastards checked the box from far away in the middle of a field, using a toy grabber at the end of a polearm made of duct taped together brooms, the contents were revealed to be white cylindrical metal devices with 3 black dots in a straight line on one side, on the other is a large black capital A
After some testing was done it was revealed the device could be opened, revealing 2 separate scanners on the ends of long cords, 1 green, 1 red, the green scanner can analyze physical objects with incredible accuracy given enough time, the data is stored into main device and translated to be understandable to humans
The red scanner releases patterns of red light that somehow give the one viewing said light the gathered data
This... would be useful
