The Great You Authority (SUxRWBY)

I was thinking about the future of organics in Authority and our future colony and although there were couples ideas like relocating them to another planet, one example from the show is particularly interesting, im speaking about human ZOO from SU, gems were basically able to create environment for humans to live in. So my idea is that instead of exterminating them, or relocating them we try to assimilate organic population in our colony by creating organic districts for them to live in for example, where they can contribute to the Authority even a little.

That could potentially even solve our problem of shattering gems because if we are able to accommodate life that serves no purpose at all then we can accommodate Gems without a purpose, for starters maybe send those gems in sort of exile to serve in organic district as coops, civil servants, teachers and such.

It probably wont sit well with other Diamonds at first but with enough approval and our Colony being completed nicely we could push for it.

One of the problems you're going to have to solve, besides justifying the inefficiency and lowered standards, is a psychological one in respect to the Gems. Gems are MADE to work. Quartz live for the thrill of the fight, Peridots love crawling deep into the depths of ships and sussing out problems, gems just love working.

But then, you got these gems who can't do that. Gems who are unable to fulfill their life purpose. A Quartz who can't fight is useless, they'll FEEL useless. The reason they were brought to this world, the thing they were literally designed to enjoy doing, is forever beyond their grasp. By large, shattering is actually considered a sort of mercy for these kinds of gems. Rather than living on without a purpose, suffering and useless, they are granted a release that would otherwise never come.

Anything's possible with enough work.

Plus, what's a little necromancy between immortal space rocks?

Hmm, does Pink even know it is possible to revive Shattered Gems? Though, speaking of necromancy... I'm guessing she'll figure out the "Pink Lion" trick by accident or something? I'm not sure why she would know about that trick already, so...

She knows the Gempire does not possess the ability at this time, and that Yellow and White are dedicating a fair bit of research in trying to find out how. After all, if they can bring back dead gems, there is a whole bunch of gems they could cycle back into service.

She "knows" she can bring back dead organics though. Diamond Juice is a HELL of a thing, and when organics die it's usually just a small problem easily fixed. She's never done it, or even thought about it, but the moment she considers it she'd know she could easily do it.

9 - Learning Little Things
9 - Learning Little Things
The bisected Grimm falls to either side of the two small humans as you release the energy in your gem slowing your perception of time closer to normal. You watched with curiosity from the tree line as they seemed rather stunned, they probably didn't even see your shield before it was gone and it was all over. Once they began moving and looking around, you took a step into the clearing to help draw their attention towards you.

The pink and red one was hiding behind the green and black one. You couldn't help but wonder if she was the local equivalent of a ruby, and the pink one was her charge. This impression was reinforced when the green one demanded "W-who are you?"

You smiled as you crouched down to be closer to their level. This was a new feeling, introducing yourself. Someone not knowing who you were. "I'm Pink." You answer. "What are you two doing out here? There aren't any human settlements out here." You're pretty sure humans like to cluster together after all.

"Well… our airship crashed. Everything just stopped working…" She seemed hesitant to talk about it, but the pink one said from behind green. "We're lost."

You smiled reassuringly. "I can help with that." You flex your will, and your Palanquin responds, appearing within the clearing within a moment. You stand up and climb in. "Come on." They didn't move however, seeming very uncertain and surprised. You recall that little humans are programmed to be cautious in strange and dangerous situations, and that you need to gently encourage them to help get them along. So you again approach them and crouch down, gently taking one of their hands into each of your own as you reassure them. "You're going to be alright now, I promise. I won't let anything hurt you."

They looked at you, visibly uncertain, before the pink one came out from behind the green one, and hugged your arm tight. You laughed as you raised your arm, lifting her up with it. Remembering what you used to do with Blue, you raise her up and deposit her in your hair, prompting her to let out a small squeak followed by giggles as she is mostly enveloped in your poof. You turn your attention back to the green one, who seemed relieved to see the pink one being happy.

Standing up a bit, but still leaning over so you can still hold her hand, you lead her into your Palanquin, and as you walk you hear her say. "I'm Lie Ren."

You smile down at Lie Ren, "It's nice to meet you, Lie Ren."

Then, from up in your poof, the pink one calls down happily "And I'm Nora! Nora Valkyrie!"

Smiling, you respond. "I'm pretty sure my hair doesn't have a name."

That got a stream of giggle. "I-I'm not your hair." You feel her shuffle around in your hair till she was leaning forward, her face over yours. "I'm Nora!"

"Well it's nice to meet you too." you say as you climb aboard your Palanquin, ignoring Pearl's look of disgust when she sees the humans touching you. While all the oils and residues they are leaving on you do feel rather grimy, you're a diamond and can ignore that for now. You seat yourself in your throne, and pick Lie Ren up and put him on your lap. Nora crawls out of your poof and tumbles down to your lap to sit beside her, and you wave your hand to bring up a map of the local region, smiling at their sounds of awe. "Now where should I take you?"

"We… Don't have anywhere to go." Lie Ren admitted self-consciously. "We snuck aboard the airship hoping to get to Vale, but we got on the wrong one. Our parents are dead and we thought things might have been easier on Vale." You puzzled for a bit what a 'parent' was, but looking over the information you got seems it seems to mean owner. That made you sad, a gem without an owner was a gem without a purpose.

What do you do with them?
[] Take them to the nearest human settlement and drop them off there.
[X] Take them to Vale, where they were wanting to go.
-[X] Offer to let them stay with you instead, with your resources & abilities things would be even easier for them.

[] Keep them, they have no owners and you do own the planet and everything on it.

AN : You recall when you crashed DoS-ed EVERYTHING? That included aircraft.

BTW, incase someone doesn't know how big you are, you are big even if you are the smallest diamond. Roughly 15 feet.

And as always, write-ins are allowed, but require my approval.

Big oof. At least the other diamonds won't care, but the natives though.....

It is pretty incredible that their aura allowed them to survive the crash.

Fairly, sure this will be Nora and Ren's noodle incident. A giant lady and her crab-mobile gave them a ride to Vale, and it'll only be afterward that they register something's was off with that encounter.

IRL, 95.7% of the people in a plane crash survive. So... yeah. This plane crash was a doozy, kills most of hte people, but the biggest problem was less the crash, and more where they crashed. In the middle of a dense forest where people hardly ever go, so grimm get old.

A lot of things are off and weird, but it's best to not question the person saving you on the chance that they might not feel like saving you anymore.

[X] Take them to Vale, where they were wanting to go.
-[X] Since they have no "parents", ask if they're interested in your help instead of wandering alone.

"Help" in this case being what? You can do MANY things to help, or even "help".

I'm mostly just thinking "let's hear what Nora & Ren want". They're two orphaned kids / "purposeless Gem" equivalents who seem to think Vale would solve their problems. Yet they were clearly in danger from that Grimm, so are they sure they don't want our help instead?

So "give them what they ask for". Alright.

Just to note, they won't ask for much. Half because they have no earthly idea how rich you are, half because asking strangers for charity generally isn't a good idea.

I don't want Pink to just go full-on "Mine!", but I don't want to leave Nora & Ren all alone. They're orphans with nothing to their name, and the weird giant Huntress is impressing interest in helping them after having saved their lives.

Yeah, this write-in works. Approved.
