Tabun let out a small sigh and shrugged. "Not what I wanted, but not undesirable." He checked around, weighing his options. He couldn't throw THAT far to hit them, guns wouldn't be of much use. The only other option would be to chase after them. The black ship was no match, the smaller ship definitely stood no chance, and the galleon was overkill but it'd take too long to get it moving. Moreover, there's less Marines here than he'd liked, several of which suffering injuries. Though he could order it, they weren't his men to do so. He had enough respect for the Lieutenant Commander to not risk his men with such low odds of success.
"I guess that's it then. Men, you've done well. We've successfully forced the pirates to flee like the dogs they are. Tend to your wounded and return to base." Tabun looked to Laurent, "You as well, Ensign. You kept three pirates on the run with just yourself and a handful of men. That's impressive all on it's own."
