The First, The Last

everything but Theocrat has one vote (at least, all the ones picked anyway... oh well) this is moderately hilarious but vote is not closed until 8:00 am Atlantic Coast of US(No, I do not know the actual timezone) Theocrat currently has two votes. People who do not want Theocrat may want to get friends involved...

Why don't you decide it between East/west coast, to make it simpler?

8:00 am Atlantic Coast of US(No, I do not know the actual timezone)

East coast time, and west coast time work better, as in. "8:00 A.M. Eastern time, US" It's easier for people to relate, and then judge the time, if they know anything about time zones. Mostly nitpicking here, honestly.

In other news, ducks~

eh, is k

in other news. A bit more info about how this whole "Culture" Thing works

basically, you are picking the Age of Wonders 3-ish Class for your Sub Lords who deal with the day to day and week to week tedium and paperwork so you can go do adventuring stuff and avoid getting "Bored"(yes, this is a legit status effect for you, if it gets to high you go totally nuts!). Your Class-ish thing is locked at "Sorceror King" anything a Sorceror Lord from Age of Wonders 3 can do you can do, along with a lot of other stuff.

The influence on pop is mostly that each Archetype gets a/few unique type/s of Pop and special actions that use that/those pop/s while also modifying the default population ratios.

e.g. Theocrat gets "Priest" and "Miraculous" pop types while Rogue gets "Seducer" pop and Warlord gets "Warbeast" pop and Dreadnought gets "Mechanical" and "Engineer" pop, Archdruid gets "Beast", "Monster", and "Tender" pops, etc.

[X] Archdruid

The thought of playing a hegemonic swarm of druid rats on a perpetual, insurrectional crusade against civilization sounds reallyyyy fun. Yeah, there is the drawback that we're against every "civilized" society but it would be interesting to produce a rat society built on ecology and inter-connection and equilibilium and the harsh alienness of the world.

Dark Ness voted for Theocrat is why. But... I am currently not feeling like updating so anyone who already voted can switch their vote if they want...

edit: NVM, I thought we had more voters... we have 5 and they have all voted.

"Master created the Skarn. All that the Skarn are, all that the Skarn can be, is a gift from Master. Thus, all that Skarn are, all that Skarn will be, is Master's."

This is the first line you, the First of the Skarn, write in what will become the holy book of your people. A text explaining in both rational and emotional ways why the Skarn must dedicate themselves utterly and totally to Master and Master's Desires. Before you are done you have wirtten several volumes simply extolling Master. By the time you are done it is nearly time for the First Birthing and you have written ten books detailing why and how the Skarn will revere master.

The First Generation has divided to perform tasks. Soldiers and Farmers and Builders, Scribes and Mages, and then there is you, the First of the Skarn, and the only Priest of the Master's Church.

Population Updated, Next update returns to MC PoV

Resources Available and request for Action Ideas
...eh, more I really can't think of much to do right now... so instead Imma going to lay out what you have available and you guys can come up with stuff to do with it(note: maximum returns="Popx10" where Pop is the population invested into the action, tech and military actions will have DC added by me

Available resources
Populations:
Farmers: 1000
Soldiers: 500
Builders: 500

Scribes: 100
Mages: 50

Priests: 1
Miraculous: 0

A 50 kilometer radius of magic impregnated land guarded by persistent static and extending into the air and ground up to 100 kilometers each way

non-organic resources are a non-issue within this area though beyond it you will have to bring supplies(organic in this context meaning "things that grow")

[X] Defense
Soldiers: A fourth patrol, half train, a fourth do fake battles to figure out tactics and encourage teamwork, while keeping there skills sharp. They should rotate between these positions
Builders: Create defensive emplacements and fortifications, make them far enough away from the current city so there is room to expend. Set up the streets and such so that they form killzones and benefit the defenders, along with any other defensive works.
Mages: Create runes to place on defensive fortifications to strength them, as well as other offensive runes. Such as explosive runes to turn an area into a minefield.
Farmers: Find an explosive organic sunstance

Farmer's are always farming, even when you assign them to do things like "Figure out how to get a breastmilk substitute" or "How do we domesticate deer?"
