For the record, internet debates aside tanks generally didn't fight other tanks all that often. The big strength of tanks is that they are highly mobile, so you can move them to places they are most needed, and those places tend to be weak spots in the enemy line where the enemy doesnt have tanks. Most dead tanks come from anti-tank guns, breakdowns, mines, etc
A Panzer III is perfectly fine for the Eastern Front in 1942 - it can match most Soviet tanks and is maneuverable and reliable. Czech 38s are less capable but are still fine for shooting up Soviet conscripts, which is what they will spend most of their combat service doing
