Personally the main reason I would have voted for the hunter option was mainly due to the fact that mage was overdone in my opinion and wanted to try something new that wasn't done a million times already. Most quests have the main PC be solely based around personal power which can be pretty tiring and in some cases feel like it could run into the issues with series like Bleach and DB where the main character is the only one that matters. Would prefer for us to be more of a support role while also being able to still fight on our own.

External would help when we have a team/faction for taking down other factions, but Internal will keep us alive rather than getting shanked/mind fucked by surprise, and as such if FAR more important to start with imo.

The QM is outright stating that this choice is important in that it's deciding what we are the best at. Rather we not get stuck with being solely specced to personal combat because people were scaring others from voting for a certain option. Don't think that the QM would be enough of a dick to absolutely make a choice a trap option.

@LinkOnScepter To be sure picking the external option doesn't necessarily mean that we would be screwed in the short term for not picking the personal option correct?

we might be fine its perfectly possible. Its also far harder for us to simply get unlucky with the physical path. Don't get me wrong, External isn't a trap option, but it has its benefits and Internal has its own. If anything, External will be far better offensively/actively, I just prefer defense over offense.

That's fine for people to think along those lines for voting for an option. What isn't in my opinion is when people pull the 'the other options are totally traps! Pick this choice instead!' card which is really frustrating. It's one thing to use reasoning based on information we know, not fear mongering tactics. I'm sure that it's not intentional for most people but it just feels like that at times. Also immensely insulting to QMs since it's pretty much accusing of them putting in a trap option to screw them over at the very start.

You'll be able to use both Internal and External to great effect regardless of specialty.

I never knew I needed this crossover, until now, only discovered this today so I didn't get to vote, but I would have chosen the same anyway,

Fair, but there ARE hot blooded gangral's.

Its just the hot blooded gangrals tend to end up biting off more than they can chew while young and die off. Those of that group that do survive are frankly terrifying in power
