Building the Corps, and Yourself:
You took a deep breath as you looked at the orders. The disarmament that had come was swift, French soldiers had crossed no man's land and into the trenches as your men evacuated. Your rifles, your machine guns, and even your mortars and artillery were left behind.
It was almost impossible to see the looks on your faces.
Many of the officers that were with you had left, going towards headquarters for new orders, and for many, their final orders. You had heard what was going to happen. All would be demobilized, given a ticket back to their homes... and then be forgotten.
You wouldn't. You gathered the men, all soon to be without a job, with their careers as soldiers now at the end, and gave them a purpose.
The Republic would have a need for men like them. If not as soldiers, then as a Free Company, of men who knew where their loyalty lies.
A Frikorps.
What Are you?:
(Choose 1)
[]Monarchism: You have always believed that there were two things that were true in life. That The Kaiser was your master… And that God would forever rule the world. You would see that at least one would be true. Someday (You believe in the Monarchy, and that, while the Republic has slowly replaced it, wish to see it returned in a constitutional monarchy. Somehow. (Begin with increased relations with the Monarchist Parties of the Weimar Republic along with the Extreme Right, but decreased relations with all socialists and Heavily Decreased relations with communist parties.)
[]Liberalism: The Republic taking control is perhaps one of the greatest goods that may have befallen the German people. And that it is up to you and others to see that it is done. A new Age of Germany will dawn. And perhaps a better one? (Begin with increased relations with the Center parties of Germany, as well as slightly decreased relations with the socialists. But begin with Heavily decreased relations with Monarchists, Communists, and the Extreme Right.)
[]Socialism: There is nothing that you wish more than to see the people of Germany cared for. They have suffered enough from years of war and death and incompetence. The Kaiser and his Cronies have failed them. Let them live in a world where their needs will be truly represented, and the levers of state control will truly be for the benefit of the German people. (Begin with Greatly increased Relations with Factions and Characters of Socialist Ideology; slightly Increased Relations with Factions and Characters of Communist Ideology; Decreased Relations with Conservatives and Heavily Decreased Relations with Monarchists and the Extreme Right.)

Frikorps Traits:
(Choose 1)
[]Supported: Your Unit, despite its rather lack of supply and manpower, or even official recognition as a military unit, has been recognized by the German government as a force for the Republic. (Gain 1 Additional Dice During Action Phases, and begin with Trusted Reputation (+5) from the Government. Note: Will begin as supported by the Social Democrat League.)
[]Stormtroopers: Your Men are the Pride and Joy of Erich Ludendorff's Stormtroopers, known for being able to take heavily defended positions, regardless of casualties. For you were the Storm that would break the enemy. (When attacking, your unit will have a +10 to your rolls. When under the protection of Artillery, gain another +10. If attacking with combined arms of Artillery, mechanized or motorized, and infantry, gain a +30)
[]Artillerymen: You have some field guns that you stole from the front lines, well before the Armistice was signed. And now, they are under your command. (Gain a +15 to attack rolls and defense rolls. However, suffer a heavy movement penalty of -15 due to lacking equipment to move them efficiently, and supply consumption will be modified to account for that.)
[]Mounted: The Prussian cavalry was a long way from the era of the Death Ride and that of Napoleon, and there was no true place for men on horseback in modern war. But now is not the time to lament the death of a trade. For you were now knights on horseback. Trying to save your home. (Movement rolls no longer need to be rolled to succeed. Supply rolls will only suffer a -5 to their rolls when traveling to hostile territory, or you do not have supply depots set up in the territory.)

(Movement rolls to different territories do not need a roll to succeed. Supply rolls do not suffer while in hostile territory. However, supply consumption is doubled.)
[]The Flying Circus: It seems you are not the only one who wishes to save the Republic, though for less than philanthropic reasons. Members of the Flying Circus have joined your cause. If only to keep their planes from falling into Allied Hands, as well as a wish to keep flying their aircraft. (Access to Air Support. Intelligence rolls gain a +5 to all rolls, and special actions are available in combat turn. Gain members of the Flying Circus, including one random Fighter Ace.)

Your Frikorps begin with a Heroic reputation with the German people)
[]Loyal Officers: They know you are well and good. You just need to keep being who you are. A good man, with a vision for the future. (Gain an additional +5 to action rolls. A Random selection of Great War officers will be under your command, regardless of political allegiances, who are loyal to you and the Republic, only because of your personal charisma.)
[]Band of Brothers: Your Men have been through hell together. They trust you with their lives to see them to a better tomorrow. They know each other better than anyone else. You lead them well. []Intelligence Officer: You were many things in the army, and of the many important roles, yours was the gathering of intelligence and analyzing its use, a task that needed to be done. (Intelligence Rolls gain a +5 to their rolls)

[]An Unfavorable Lot: Your lot has had vicious rumors spread about you, about how you are little more than a roving band of bandits. Some of them are true. Others not so much. But that is a reputation you have to change if you are going to serve Germany. (-20 to recruitment actions. Reputation with the German people lowed to hated)
[]Unsupported: The German Government considers you no more than terrorists. (Start with one fewer action dice, begin with the government hating you.)
[]Under Siege, and Cut off: As it turns out…traveling home is a dangerous prospect, and somehow, though no real fault of your own, you have been completely surrounded by…you don't know who wants to kill you? All you know is, they are pulling out all the stops to do it. Did they just blow up that telegram office? Is that an artillery piece?! God this is to be a rotten holiday. (Start with your unit completely cut off and under siege by a random Freikorp of Unknown political allegiance. Will immediately begin in combat.
