Anyone who has performed even a cursory search of the history of the film industry should understand what the cutting room is, and what being "on the cutting room floor" denotes. For those of you who don't, back in the old days when they filmed movies on celluloid film, the movie would be spliced together from clips and cuts. These sections of films were gone through in the cutting room after being developed, and either spliced together if they were good, or cut out and dumped to the floor if they were unusable. This is my cutting room floor, the clips, scenes and other bits and bobs that just didn't make the cut to be used in their original stories. Maybe they just didn't fit, maybe the story changed before I got to that scene. Maybe the story hasn't reached that scene yet and I just want to throw it out there for viewing and commentary. The reasons for the scenes to be out there are varied, but here they are.
