Trigger Warning: Expect the worst just incase
Beldart is a world populated by magicians, wizards, and warlocks
Long ago the Visionary, greatest of all wizard-kind, graced the Arcano-Sphere with their presence, the spells which writhed in the Sea Of Chaos were guided by their masterful hands, forced to harmonise, to become building blocks of reality, the world itself, an incantation of immeasurable size

Like the Visionary, the inhabitants of this world seek to guide spells for their own various goals, and have even gathered into groups called Covens to aide like-minded fellows
You are the Coven Of Broken Bells, residing in the Forest-That-Doth-Not-Chime, a mishmash of formerly independent wizards, rejected wizards, exiled wizards, and whatever other variety of reason to come here wizards who all decided to stick together
Show the other Covens what you're made of
Da Premise/Da Rules
You travelled far to this place, whoever the covens that did not want you may be, and for whatever reason (As long as you ain't like, a child toucher and or an offence as validly reprehensible as that), maybe like the Coven Of The Inverted Philosopher for not being able to deconstruct beliefs with ease, the Coven Of The Avian Measured for not thinking birds are the most interesting thing ever, the Coven Of The Toothed Dagger for not letting their blood god into your soul, whatever the specifics may be, you're probably a loser

And thus, your standards lowered to choosing the Broken Bell Coven, you arrived at the tower gates, ignoring the gnarled trees with non-functiona; bells hanging on the branches with colourful string
The gates opened into the ramshackle tower, and inside a wide variety of wizards greeted you, welcome to your new home

Da Rules
In this quest, you will influence the actions of the Coven each turn
Turns last an in-game amount of time of a week or less, the exact amount of days varying

Turns mechanically are divided into the Actions and Results sections, during the Action part you write down what you want the group and or an individual to do, certain actions will be diluted or rewritten if it goes against a specific individuals personality and or something is incapable of doing that specific action, like making a pacifist try to murder someone or trying to make a normal basket fly without the proper tools, rewrites will be necessary for those actions to not just be wasted
Results is obviously when I write down what happens, I will determine the success of an action based off a 100-sided die roll, with modifiers based off the circumstances, the higher the better, supporting an action will give it a bonus of 5 if a roll is needed

If there are two or more votes that fundamentally contradict each other like someone trying to use a the last pieces of cheese to make a meal while another wants to use them to lure a rat, I'll go for the one with more votes, if equal I'll just flip a coin or do some kinda rewrite or dilution for a compromise

(FYI: When we start you'll each be making a wizard for the Coven, you aren't forced to control that single wizard you're just adding your own unique fellow to the group to flesh it out)

Now let me make the info posts

The Coven Of The Broken Bell
You guys

Yorick Of The Grim Jesters
- A young man that could be easily mistaken for a walking corpse due to their pale white skin, pitch black eyes, and the stitches that seemingly barely hold his body together
- Wears a black and red jester outfit with a mask resembling a human skull
- Morbid sense of human mixed with a bit of sarcasm, but very friendly and supportive to those they know as friends
- Can summon ghostly ravens that if spoken to, will contain those words spoken, it can then be used to track a recipient that Yorick knows the location of and it will fly there as fast as it can, going through physical barriers with ease, it will disperse once the message is sent, or if the recipient is deceased or unable to hear the message
- With a snap of their fingers they can summon a wisp of black fire, it will spread across traditionally flammable objects but instead take away heat instead of generating it, can be stopped conventionally by being deprived of oxygen or being doused with water
- Can call forth up to 4 monstrous flies and maggots (the size of large dogs) to protect him in combat, they will not respond to any other demands than protecting their master, they'll attack enemies only if necessary for their master to not be harmed, they're also smart enough to use tools available if their master is in danger in other ways, like putting him out when hes on fie

Leo The Dancer
- A well built young man that appears to be the pinnacle of good health, though he never seems to be not moving at least one part of his body and his joints bend smoothly in ways they aren't supposed to
- Generally bright and cheerful, and does his best to help others move on or continue with their lives, dislikes those that hinder and or bind the lives of others
- Amazing dancer
- He can mark a single individual or object within line of sight with a spell, this spell will give Leo increased speed and agility whenever he is attempting to get closer to the mark, only one mark can exist at time, can be deactivated at will
- Another spell of Leo's is a ritual that heals those that dance alongside him, mainly good for minor injuries and ailments that don't impede movement too much, not instant, requires dancing, the worse the injury the longer the dancing session, does not replenish stamina so you can't just do this forever for any injury
- Knows another dance ritual that can weaken the effects of curses if done right
- Has a familiar that is an aggressively dancing wall rug that enjoys eating folks, also a great dance partner

Vrell The Stone-Carrier
- Lithe, smooth face, pointy airs, an elf-ish appearance contrasted by spiky stone growths and gravel patches across their entire upper body
- Rather calm and reasonable, mostly nice outside of two quirks, he is obsessed with researching the Deep Bindings (quasi-sentient clumps of magic tied to geological anomalies) and he is quick to fly into rage when he believes someone doubts his magical prowess
- Can create vaguely humanoid monsters with animal-level intelligence out of earth, he does not control them, and they aren't necessarily going to be kind or loyal, their personalities mainly depend on interactions with them and or training
- Can sense geological phenomena like mineral deposits or caves if they're nearby, feels like cold stone pressing against the skin of the body part closest to what is being sense
- Can fire off a couple small balls of lava before needing a bit of magical incantations to recharge, 6 shots, the incantations are loud

Autor Vemrini The Weepy Wizard-Bug Of Writing
- A human-bug-wizard thing that cries magical brass tears and has a pen fused to his left hand
- He loves stories and bugs. He hates it when he's called 'crossovery'. He fears being banned from existing for being 'too crossovery'. He finds people doing what they enjoy virtuous. He is angered by people being judged for aspects of themselves they have no control over. He is constantly thinking up new stories in his head and spends most of his free time putting them to paper
- He cries magical brass tears that, when used as ink for his magical pen finger and writing an interaction between 2 things, it will manipulate chance to at least try to cause the interaction to happen, doesn't necessarily happen the way its written down

Talon & Mei The Two Who Are One
- A pair of mages that got spiritually, mentally, and physically jumbled up, Talon has a wild and unkempt appearance and is covered in a variety of animal tattoos. Despite this he is rather short, just barely over 5 feet tall, and has a very pretty face that can't grow facial hair worth a damn additionally he tends to dress in minimal clothing despite everyone's best attempts to get him to wear pants. Mei is a rather tall girl, over 6 feet, and is naturally inclined to an amazonian physique. Despite her height and athletic body Mei dresses like a proper lady in a Victorian dress
- Their minds and personalities are all jumbled up together but before their merging Mei was a prim and proper young lady with a love of research and alchemy, and Talon was a wild soul more at home in the woods or in a fight than in civilization. After their merging the two of them spend nearly every moment together, because being apart causes them great pain, but often bicker internally about what to do
- They of course have their weird mental connection where they can mix their thoughts together and control eachothers bodies sometimes, they prank each other with this
- Their magics mixed together, now they can both make potions, with completely randomised effects
Reserved
The Forest-That-Doth-Not-Chime
- A forest of gnarled trees with non-functional bells hanging off the branches with colourful string
- Scent of lemongrass in the air
- Trees feel rough and dry
- Animals act in a curious manner, many can be seen examining the broken bells, as if checking for functioning ones
- The main base of the Broken Bell coven is a ramshackle tower constructed in the middle of this forest, and matching the theme there are shards of church bells sticking out the side like spikes

Starter Wizards
Each of you can make a single wizard, they're not a character only you specifically control, everyone can command them with an action, this is just to fill out the Coven roster
You can ask me about the lore or magic system if you feel extra cautious about contradicting it, but fyi it is VERY flexible
They're subject to rewrite or veto if too powerful and or something incredibly disruptive

[] Wizard Name: Moniker & whatever other titles they may have
- [] Appearance: What they look like, you can add weird details too, like spider eyes, Arcana tend to warp the minds & bodies of their hosts sometimes
- [] Personality: What they love, hate, fear, find virtuous, are angered by, the goings on in their heads and how they act outside their minds aswell
- [] Arcana: Spells, incantations, rituals, whatever, the universe is made of spells, these are the ones you harmonised with to gain your wizard status
- [] Backstory: Optional

Example

Name: Galvo Of The Melody-March
Appearance: Lanky fellow in a white and gold marching band uniform, has a black handlebar moustache and pointed nose
Personality: Quite a proud, boisterous, and stubborn fellow, also so passionate about music and marching bands to count as eccentric (but what wizard isn't eccentric?), those who share those passions with him usually see his softer more calmer side
Arcana: Can summon physical notes if he desires when playing musical instruments and or singing, they're only strong enough to carry a large violin or knock something back a couple feet; When in formation with someone or something can innately sense flaws in the formation, such as someone stepping out of line hunching forward; Can summon a leader baton with a simple hand gesture, it fades when it leaves his hand or isn't in use
Backstory: As a young lad in the Coven Of The Ever-Orchestra, he saw the majesty of their best marching bands and quickly became obsessed, repeatedly attempted to join, and kept failing, eventually he secretly hijacked an entire parade while dressed as the Coven mascot and got kicked out for accidentally having the marching band and the parade end up almost drowning in a river

Is this valid or do I need to change some details?.

- [X] Arcana: When he is moving towards something he moves significantly faster and can ignore the terrain. If he is dancing with somebody they will begin to recover from any wounds that they have and grow healthy. he is able to perform a ritual called the endless dance that can break curses that are applied to somebody. He is also able to summon what looks like an aggressively dancing wall rug without a head that enjoys eating people, it also functions as a lovely dance partner.

- [X] Backstory: Once Vrell was a member of Coven of Lunar Grace. Intelligent, but magically weak, he was effectively stuck as research assistant to greater wizards, until during an expedition, he encountered a Deep Binding. For whatever reasons, it reacted badly to Lunar Grace explorers and caused a cave-in, which killed everybody except Vrell, who ended up with a piece of it embedded in him. After his return, rumours started to circulate that he arranged the expedition and sacrificed its members for power, which drove him to leave the Coven and seek luck elsewhere.

Based on one of my favorite characters in a game I've been playing recently
Gotta be a bit more specific then healing just healing spells, mobility, and offensive spells

Valid, but I'll have to limit the lava thing to a couple short bursts before recharging

Incredibly powerful Arcana, I might have to limit it to maybe having people who read your characters books become so immersed they actually feel like they're in the book, like a simulation, or you can affect the real world in a specific way through writing in the book, like writing down an interaction between 2 things and it manipulates chance to try and cause a "Crossover"

I was actually worried that my character(s) wouldn't pass due to technically being two people but I am happy it worked out.

Besides that some more details on Talon and Mei is that before their merging Talon was the one who was over 6 feet tall and Mei was the petite one. As it stands the part of them that is Talon is annoyed at the radical reduction in height and the loss of their beard, and the part of them that is Mei is very much annoyed that she had to get a new wardrobe for her increase in stature and the fact that Talon looks better than her in a dress now.

I'll rewrite the ignore terrain spell and just make it so you can mark an object or individual within sight with a spell that will boost your speed and agility when moving towards the target, and the curse breaking thing to just slightly lessening the effects of a long harmful spell
That is fair, I just didn't know what limits would be. I just put up something as a very rough guess.

Or perhaps the magical stories can only affect the world if Autor was sufficiently inspired while writing the story.
