Seriously, we are low on parts and unlike with the school we'd be funding the apartment repairs ourselves. Just adding another stranger to the cast when we haven't even incorporated any of the kids we've impressed or Cooperating with Stella into our support base isn't going to get us far.

I don't understand why we should look for a new friend now, because it would be better to build our reputation on the foundation we built last turn by luck with the younger kids or even getting to know Stella better than putting someone else different to compete for spots so early.
Then we have to start renovating when we know we'll have to spend our own money on the pieces and we've just used up a lot of our stock to create our legendary weapon, instead of spending this turn accumulating lost stock.
What's your reasoning, guys?
Well I would not call it making friends. You have to remember that the other kids have connections to other people. That is how they end up at the school. With those connections we then can network deeper into other places. Right now we only have two options. Selling it at a market at random or getting a license with a bit of mob trouble. We need to be better equipped to take on that trouble and need to be able to have backing if we want to take on the old mob.
Also if we have friends then that means less enemies. Though I think it will generate more ideas like repairing the school did. Right now we only have basic gun stuff. No new innovation.

It's definitely not making new friends, since the action your taking is the one to introduce a new character and we need to follow up on it to have them become an ally. Currently we don't have any friends as we aren't interacting with Stella or the younger kids on the regular. This is my entire problem with you plan.
The completely new person may have new opportunities for us, sure. Given our actions economy and limited ability to act on the ones we have, I'm not entirely sure why that's relevant. We don't need to fish for new opportunities, we need to build on last turns actions and consolidate the gains we've made.
Then make a statement to others about the other plan. Mine is winning because I pointed out the risk. I also stated the direction I want to go with it and my reasoning.
We are allowed to make a discussion so get other people involved. I can see the benefit of what you are saying.

Okay. So the plan is to forge 5 knock off killer Angels and then recruit the younger kids, arming them against their chromed out seniors in the process, because if anyone can push them around then their not much use to us. Meanwhile Senji dumpster dives to replace the parts he's building their killer angel out of and hoping to get lucky, does his maintenance and works at keeping his grades up so it looks like he has his nose to the grindstone.

At the expense of probobly sounding like a guy who has plans, I am going to say something that will eventually occur.
Eventually if you don't screw up or, worse… get your parents attention.
The plot will find you.
And the plot I have is going to be rather interesting.
However:
The plot can change depending how you do things right now.
That is all I will say.
Oh and to stop the euphemisms plot means adventure. Because this is still based on a ttrpg and I love this adventure I used for my first game I ever played with my brother.
It's awesome.

Pacifica is still Pacifica.
Meaning that that it's still fucking bad.
But it hasn't devolved into the shithole of 2077.
It's mearly the… beginning of devolving into that shithole.
People still want to build and live there so…
It's not to the ass end of the world yet. But it's still pretty bad. Hell night city in general is still mostly a nice place to live in with a few no go areas that everyone knows.
It hasn't been nuked yet and the cyber psychos and max tac haven't turned the streets into an orgy of ultra violence.
