Technoverse (Video Game Mega crossover)

Yes, I know. You've written it in the files in the OP, and posted it here for good measure.

What about this planet? Does it differ from Sys Al norms culturally? Will the Sys Al laws be respected in the Helghast sector, or will there be a hanging tree? And finally, would the Sys Al recognise extradition requests from Mars for a terrorist conduit?

The Sys Al treat Conduits the same as any of the other colonies. But if Conduits wondered outside the city, there's the risk of running into a xenophobic band of Helghast soldiers off the border. Since Illyria is on a planet that has a Helghast colony, Conduits are warned to keep carful.

But there really is no difference to how Conduits are treated here than other colonies.

The Systems Alliance would accept requests of extradition from Mars, but it would be maintained secret.

@Estro

I didn't think about this until you brought up extradition, so I might as well make this canon.

Most likely, If a conduit is under 18, they're conscripted into a secret police program. If the is over 18, the UNSC 'deports' non-violent Conduits to the Systems Alliance. The idea is that there needs to be indoctrination at a young age for Conduits to be loyal to the government. An older Conduit can still join the secret police, but by adulthood most Conduits hate the government.

Terrorists and criminals over 18 are put into fatal experimentation. Sometimes they're asked to conscript for their high skills, but that's rare and under special circumstances.

Typically, a lot of conduit criminals might want to claim refuge in the Systems Alliance.

If it's a minor crime, the SA will ignore them and leave them alone. If it's a major crime (like terrorism), the SA will allow UNSC investigators to search in their territory.

The Systems Alliance would then help arrest these criminals, and return them to the UNSC to face 'trial' for their crimes.

If this goes against any ideas you had, let me know. I wouldn't want to negate anything you had in mind.

Nah. It was just a toss up between whether she was there to wait for heat to die down or for recruitment and fundraising.

Also, if you want to be in the club, feel free. Most of you will stick out more than Pluggers, but oh well.

Got my characters in the club. Also, I added Piratepad in the first post, its an old tool I used to use in case I want 'quick' collaborations of fight and/or dialogue scenes. It simple to use, insert text in the main box for IC conversation, and discuss in the smaller box OOC. No one has to use it, but I figure some people might like the tool.

This seems rather interesting, are you still taking characters? If so, I saw some discussion about certain verses being deemed too overpowered. Any mentionable ones?

We're still accepting characters. In the first OOC post, there's a Codex entry post labeled "Foot Soldier Comparisons", which breakdowns the types of soldiers people typically see.

I may need help creating a tier list for ship types. I've never delved deeply into ship designs and capabilities. I'm always more focused on individual characters before ships, so resources for game ship comparisons would be appreciated.

Got a few IC posts up right now, would everyone be alright if I started things out with a a terrorist bomb going off?

I'm still writing up an intro but I can work the explosion into the end of it if you want to go ahead and post before I finish.

I hope the post is clear, but three things are now happening:

1. A massive bomb went off at a night club, and at two other place in the city I haven't revealed yet. (A fuel center and a government building)

2. A Systems Alliance base is in an internal fight with 100 plasmid induced Helghast soldiers. (And the SA only have about a dozen Conduits helping them)

3. The Helghast are mobilizing vehicles to head toward the city.

4. An aerial assault has probably already started. Although Illyria has a larger space fleet than Staveron, Staveron has a larger and better equipped Air Force they're deploying.

The cities have always been "tense" towards each other, and they've always just needed an excuse to fight each other. Terrorism and assassination are good enough reasons to start.

Axle, you mentioned an Airfield at the edge of the city where QUIS and crew would hang out, can you describe it for me and the situation in the Airfield? Who owns it anyhow and what orders are there?

It's owned by the system alliance, there are a lot more space ships than there are airships. There's a military population there ready o mobilize at any moment, large size, but still small in comparison to typical Helghast bases. It's 100% Systems Alliance, so aliens wouldn't be seen there.
